@@propeltheprototoaster8151 the Germans realized quite late how handy mikado’s actually were. If you look at Poland for example, they saw their potential quite fast and order a lot of them. We truly hope to see this powerhouse of an engine to run on the mainline soon. Every year the VSM runs the so called ‘Westfalendampf’ from Germany to Amsterdam with 2 BR 23’s. It would be amazing to see the single 41 pull that train. Paperwork needs to be done first.
