Sounds more pronounced than the raptors but, that could vary by build. At this point, HMX has covered so many bases its hard to differentiate or even go wrong with getting any of their switches, they're all worth the money.
As I’ve mentioned before, HMX switches have consistently high-quality and stable performance compared to others. The sound variation between switches is minimal, so most people will be satisfied with any choice. You could almost pick based on color alone, haha!
Hey Taro! Out of curiosity, how do you find the comparison between JTK Keycaps and GMKs? I might fall for JTK cause of your vid. Lol Like the feel, and sound produced? Also, it's always fun to watch your setup of Envoy PC and those lot of switches out there. The consistency is lovely. Thank you
Thank you for your kind words. I pay close attention to consistency in my switch reviews, so I'm really glad that it comes across. The sound tends to be a bit on the lower side. The legends are slightly thinner than GMK, which I like. The surface is a bit rougher than GMK, and each corner is sharp. It's cheaper than GMK and noticeably less prone to shine, making it suitable for daily use.
@@KeebTaro ahh i see now. Is it pbt abs mix for the JTK? Agree that the ability to less prone from shine is a plus for a daily use. Thanks a lot for the explanation btw.
At this point I'm just wondering which HMX switches you have not covered........... HMX Joker? HMX Violet? HMX Glazed Jade? HMX Garnet? HMX Rainbow Candy? HMX Pearl? HMX Milky White? So many HMX switches lol
If I had unlimited money, time, and people to support me, maybe! But I think my viewers (the enthusiasts) can probably imagine them just from the materials and specs :) Because HMX has consistent production capability. PS. Violet is used my Rainy75 video.
