I worked in an office above this one and my boss was invited down to have a look around when they were selling it. I used to walk past the surface level door and wish I could have taken a look too. Now I get to see it! Thanks!
I have always been very interested in below London, apparently a guy went down a manhole with a bickerton folding bike and cycled along to Downing Street, the manhole was said to be near the junction of Bethnal Green Road and Brick Lane, I have tried to work out which manhole it was but at the said junction there are about 5 different manholes, he wrote a book back in the late 80’s - early 90’. Even my dad who drove a skip lorry did skips through the night to places that were a bit secure and the skips were picked up early to stop anyone asking questions as to why they were there. He told me about loads of places but not just once, every time we went past a place he would say the same info about the location which were hundreds. The first place wasn’t a war site entrance but the river fleet and how cholera was diagnosed to a certain water pump. He told me about that when I was around the age of 10. Years later I watched a documentary program called how London was built but this was when I was older than 30 which described what my dad said 20 years earlier. We went to money remarkable places and my favourite was the Bank of England loading bay, but he was on a list of drivers that were authorised to go to these places, another was the Harrods store and loading bay which was across the road from Harrods which was accessed my a underground road. That was strange for me to think was unusual but I understood more in my older years? Great explore guys, am I right in thinking the entrance to this place is a kind of white circular building not far from Tottenham Court Road, could be wrong as this was converted to a file storage facility. But wish I could be down there as you are about 15 minutes by bus away from me. Great job 👍
Imagine what they have now? If all this is abandoned it means they have new fully equipped bunkers somewhere. Politicians are not going to fry like the rest of us. They may start a nuclear war but they themselves wont die in it. They’ll all disappear into bunkers at the 4 minute warning.

Glad to see you lot back making videos. That said it could be UA-cam mucking things up again. I've even been unsubscribed from a few of my favorite channels. It's ridiculous really. Either way that place is proper mad. I mean look at the state of it. Generators that absolutely would run if they had fuel, lights still on, very little rust to be found. Brilliant explore folks, just epic.
I've walked past one of the surface level doors to this many times and according to the map overlay at the start I am working on a project right now that is directly over one of the tunnels - might have to check a few doors next time I'm there!! 🙂

Those huge engines are coupled up to generators, each has an air tank too, so I''d assume they are air start, and that explains the blue compressor which probably charges the air tanks for starting up the engines. If I'd have been there I wouldn't be able to stop myself from starting those bad boys up for a few minutes.
Plain to hear the 50hz hum that all says STAY AWAY its likely 3 phase of at its worst 11kv. Every transformer is likely still connected to its network supply even if not used for years. Do not switch on Isolators or tamper with Electrical Systems. Please! You get to some great places dont let you next video be your last.
I've been off work with flu this week. This has been my best find on UA-cam for ages. Thanks very much. Really fascinating. 👍.
Thanks for your support folk :)

Wow! Fascinating stuff everywhere. I reckon that is your best explore yet guys. Thank you ;-)
It’s on our top ten list

4 minute warning system (ukwmo) was abandoned in the 90’s
In theory they will send an alert to your phone instead which is somewhat optimistic
@ if they actually send the message out.
@@eliotmansfield you got a missed call/message woops to late
Yes,but they will come out of their bunkers to no tax payers

Yeah UA-cam is not the same anymore sadly
Legends ! Another great explore and video, cheers guys
Wow another very good quality and well informed urbex video well done lads and thank you very much indeed
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice one, gentlemen!😊❤
Thank you! 😃
Nicely done guys 👌💯
Thank you so much 😀
Would love to be able to ask the key holder and travel down to see this and all! Great piece of history
This place fascinates me wish we could have toured it when originally furnished
Great experience lads I enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Ian and Chris ,Alot of it looks like the Back Rooms .

Would love to know how to get into there to see for myself. Any tips
It’s been sold now and currently being converted into a museum sadly
The reason it smells like a museum is because it IS one! Ruston made diesel locomotives.
40.57 is a compressor set, the engine will make air and is probably a back up in the event of total loss of mains supply to start the big Rustons.
Another great video folks
Glad you enjoyed it
That was really interesting thanks you could’ve done with electric scooters you wouldn’t of thought something that big would be under London 👍
last i read someone has bought it and will open as a museum / experience
Looks like there getting it back into shape .Or it's been really well maintained
Could be a reserve

@@IKS-Exploration Still an awesome video, of course.

Lookng at that map i'd swear you went "off piste" somewhere😅 if you'd kept on truckin i reckon you'd have popped up somewhere in Normandy
Dam you tube this fully subscribed channel disappeared from my suggested years ago , I thought that you guys had stopped
Still very much going folk :)

@@misscrabstick no they are elevator motors they are above the elevator shaft iv worked on many of these
@@tonystar-toxicstar these arent above anything tho are they?
@@tonystar-toxicstar nahh, they got exciter units on top so they are generators, plus the fact they are coupled to massive Ruston engines.
How on earth did a generator that size get down there?
Incredible isn’t it
Someone got ants in there pants 😊
This is just astonishing...so who did the administration at the time imagine were going to inhabit these bars and restaurants underground?
Thanks for your support folk :)

Thanks for the information folk :)
What I just don’t understand is, how on Earth is someone a ‘key holder’?
How on earth did they build these !, plus all the power going to waste.go video.

Is this a re upload or am I just getting very confused in my old age? 😂
Yeah uploading old multi series, upscale to 4k and making them into one who video
@ Nice, still love this explore and hoping it gets opened up soon!

Alright already, your obsession with looking at and showing TOILETS!! Why? We know what a bog looks like. We want to see secret nuclear bunker stuff 😂
lol it became a bit of a laugh years ago with people commenting about the bogs and we sort of made it a thing lol 😂
Had to turn after 5 min, that incessant high pitch noise was annoying
That’s strange anyone else had same issues?
If was the alarm noise at the beginning that you quickly move away from. Silly viewers
