The Land of Milk and Honey - Grassroots with Angus Buchan

In this episode, Angus points out that God wants us to believe His promises to us and to trust Him to fulfill them. God made a promise to Abraham that one day there would be a land of milk and honey for his descendants. After their escape from captivity in Egypt, when the 12 men returned to Moses from scouting for the promised land, although they brought back a giant bunch of grapes, pomegranates and figs and confirmed that is was indeed a land of milk and honey, they were afraid of the men who inhabited it and did not trust God to keep His promise and protect them. Only Caleb and Joshua believed that God would protect them and help them to take the land. Because of the Israelites lack of faith, God punished them with 40 years of roaming through the desert and only Caleb and Joshua with their offspring would eventually enter into the promised land. Always trust God and believe for a miracle.
