- This is an Exhibition Match for the Digimon Card Game's ninth main booster X-Record, featuring Gaiomon versus GrandisKuwagamon. The addition of Gaiomon as a pseudo-Lv.7 for the Black/Red BlackWarGreymon deck from BT-08 gives a much-needed offensive boost to its destructive control capabilities, increasing the deck's overall balance, performance and consistency. On the other hand, the Green GrandisKuwagamon deck is ferocious in its speed in wrecking the opponent's Security by comboing with the Promo GranKuwagamon with Digi-Burst. Either way, this match will end in an instant...

WITH THAT, all the main X-Record Exhibition Matches are complete! But don't worry, I'm not going to leave you guys hanging till BT-10. Expect a couple more fun theme matches along the way until BT-10 drops and I can once again hold a Booster Deck Tournament! Going to take the opportunity to give some attention other card games like Shadowverse Evolve and Yu-Gi-Oh! as well. Anyways, I don't think there's much to say about these two decks. They're both strong and rather straightforward in their functionality. Might have gotten a little greedy with Grandis there though...
I took a break from Yugioh as well but honestly Power of the Elements is such a good set, would be nice to see matches around it!

Edit: I love how in Grandiskuwagamon's art he has Blackwargreymon behind him as they're buddies and are probably fighting each other as a form of sparring

Both decks are extremely brutal with great 1 turn kill potential and control. When its Gaiomon against GrandisKuwagamon, its a matter of luck and speed. Just like 2 samurais fighting each other, the one who strikes first usually wins, but this time, Gaiomon's armor was stronger then Grandis's blades.

Would love to see a Dinorexmon vs Dinotigermon battle, Dinorexmon can follow the tyrannomon Evo line, or a red guilmon focused one, following its original v-pet, which works since the right effects increase Dinorexmon's delete effect dp and megalogrowlmon takes some basis off the megalosaurus

When BT10 comes out, can one of the decks for exhibition matches be a purple couples deck, Mervamon x Beelzemon. I am curious if these have good synergy with each other.
That will depend on Merva's effect. I probably won't make it if they don't have any synergy as that wouldn't really make for a fun match
Ahhh, Grandis my beloved. If I want to play one punch I might stick with ST1 WarGreymon, but Green Control is the deck that "clicks" with me the best so I'm looking forward to trying a more control oriented version, like back in the Herc days. How GOOD playing slow and steady is in such an explosive format is doubtful, but I'm gonna play what I understand.
Still learning so maybe I've misunderstood; could BlackWarGreymon have attacked GrandisKuwagamon, deleted it, then unsuspended itself before digivolving and getting to go for a security attack?
BWG wouldnt be able to beat Grandis, they have the same DP

Weird that ya slotted in Megadramon instead of MetalGreymon X. Cuz it can still evolve on top of the Alterous Mode promo.
I can see Rust being a tamer with BlackAgumon as his partner.
Here's an idea of 2 evolution stages:
Koromon > BlackAgumon >Greymon Virus > MetalGreymon Virus > BlackwarGreymon > Gaiomon.
Koromon > BlackAgumon >Greymon Virus > MetalGreymon Virus > Baihumon.
Wonder Rust would like these ideas.

To be honest, it's not really making that much waves in the competitive scene. It appears extremely powerful on the surface but inconsistent in the long run
How are you able to get the new cards in Tabletop Sim? I wanna play with the new cards too but idk how xP
You can just import them in manually, there should be guided online but it's not hard to figure out
