Based on the background of this video, we can assume its a gentoo-based linux system. First command is pwd, which prints directory user is currently working in. Second command is ls, which lists all files in that directory. Based on the file and directory, we can assume its portage build metadata for bash. Third command is cat, which shows contents of the xml build metadata file. Fourth command is almost impossible to figure out, except it probably starts with sudo/doas/su (based on password prompt). Fifth command is ping, which pings wikipedia website, possibly for internet connectivity checking. Sixth command is also cat piped to cut, which shows us contents of fstab file (this file basically tells linux to mount these specific partitions). And last command is time, which shows current time.
UPD: Fourth command is probably bluetooth daemon status check, hence why they acquire root

I do decryption as a hobby, the text has no meaning as it is, it could be one of the many codifications that require a key (change certain letters for others cycling on a 52 character basis) given the description of the video, but it's not, there's no =, / or +, no unknown characters, so it's either a very rare and specific file write thing or it's a modified code (write a code, erase some characters and it's now corrupted)
Tried to use the code in the description as a possible key (and vice versa) but they failed so I gave up, doesn't look like anything and the %%% symbols don't look familiar to me either.
Not saying it's truly random but it's not a regular encoding system at least.
The newest code for example has +, / and == at the end, meaning an obvious base64 code, this one just doesn't make sense, not the title nor the description seems to actually be coded.
