There is NOTHING like the taste of FIRST RUN SYRUP !! I live in Texas but my Ex is from Vermont. I had never tasted anything like Vermont's Maple Syrup until we were together. And now I'm spoiled by the taste. I even went to an old fashioned sugar camp and watched the Syrup being made. It's expensive to buy but WORTH IT !! Once you taste it you'll NEVER buy the stuff in the grocery store. Even second or third run is delicious, but if you EVER get the chance to taste it straight from a sugar camp, DO IT !!

The best, real maple syrup and those pancakes look absolutely incredible. I wish mine came out like that.

Pure sap actually isn't tasteless. It tastes very sweet.
