ManicMeeks all dogs go to heaven is a classic. This is why it's hard to do a top 10. We gotta narrow it down to like the last 10 years or some. Cause there's a lot that people don't about in this generation.
Prince of Egypt kicks blows almost all of these other movies out of the water for me. I love that movie sooo much. Tony kind of understated how good the music is
Man, I still kinda rock with When You Believe. The movie version, of course. While I love Whitney and Mariah version, it just doesn't have the same heart.
For real, don't sleep. In the mid 2000s...I used to show Ferngully to my 7th graders at the end of the school year. I would justify showing movies on the last few days of school by picking movies with a "scientific" or "environmentally conscious" theme. It felt good to show this movie from my childhood to a later generation of whipper-snappers that had never heard of it...and would have never seen it had I not shown it to them.
I done forgot all about Bebe's kids. Not a lot of people saw that movie though, it was really obscure. The popular reference is way more successful then the movie ever even aspire to be.
This is a dope ass list. I might have to find that Illusionist joint. My favorite non-disney movies would be (no particular order): 1. Shrek 2. Iron Giant 3. Shark Tale 4. Chicken Run 5. Osmosis Jones 6. Antz 7. Batman & Mr. Freeze 8. Monster House 9. Ice Age 10. Wallace & Gromit My honorable mention is The Rugrats Movie...that scene with Tommy Pickles and his brother, alone, deserved an Oscar!!!! He held his brother down and was like "Fuck you, imma kill you with these NANNERS!" lmao
Unless you haven't seen either one of these three, we're going to have to fight 👊👊😂 1. The Secret of Nimph 2. American Tail 3. How to Train Your Dragon
Recently found your channel and binge watched all the review vids! Keep up the good work.... Road to El Dorado, Balto, The Pagemaster, All Dogs go to Heaven and An American Tail were missed imo
Road to El Dorado!! I LOVE that movie, and the music wasn’t horrible either. i like Fievel Goes West better but I’m biased cuz that was the first one I saw.
All Animated movies: --The Jungle Book --Great Toaster Adventure --Kung Fu Panda --Osmosis Jones --Iron Giant --Batman: Mask of Phantasm --Prince of Egypt --Shrek --G.I.Joe --Toy Story
I definitely agree with the #1. Iron Giant is so awesome. Its emotionally touching as well. i also believe that the prince of egypt as well as land before time should been #2 on the list. Prince of egypt because of not only the story but the representation of egyptian people with them not whitewashing the characters.
Scrolled down the comment section pretty far but didn't see these so: The Thief and the Cobbler - amazing animation. Like unbelievable. It was a passion project for the creator that took YEARS, and it shows. When the Wind Blows - beautiful, understated, heartbreaking account of the aftermath of nuclear war featuring a sweet, simple elderly British couple. Plus a David Bowie soundtrack...incredibly good.
The Pagemaster, Road to El Dorado, The Rugrats movie, Hotel Transylvania (Fun-ny), Horton hears a who, Rio, Despicable Me, The Pebble and the Penguin.... the list goes on. Lol
Top 10 (no particular order) 1-BeBe's Kids (we don't die we multiply- nuff said) 2-Charlotte's Web (come on now) 3-Robots 4-Despicable Me (+/- sequels) 5-Hotel Transylvania (+/- sequels) 6-Kung Fu Panda (+/- sequels) 7-Coraline 8-Prince of Egypt 9-Shrek (+/- sequels) 10-Charlie Brown Christmas story "Now we out here" *Honorable Mentions* Monster House, Book of life, The Croods, The Lego Movie
Spirit is my all time non Disney animated favorite. The music tells that story so dynamically that you forget most of the time that the horses aren't actually talking. That movie had me moved to tears multiple times!
(Edited cause I forgot he said no anime; my bad) Man....great list. Only thing I would have switched around is putting shrek beneath batman and transformers. But hold on....where's ferngully? No love for the swan princess? Anastasia? Road to El Dorado? Wait a minute! Where's Batman: Under the Red Hood? Hellboy animated doesn't even get an honorable mention? You know what....I take back my 'great list' comment. It was alright. Passable. Serviceable. Hmmm. I see you out here, list deficient.....
Batman: Under the Red Hood occupies a category of it's own. That was an absolute masterpiece of Story Telling. It's the movie that should have launched the DCEU. Than there's The Flashpoint Paradox. His list is way short of Greatness.
Come on Tony, don’t be calling Mystery Men weak now. That is a classic! Glad you showed love to Prince of Egypt 🤗 Two of my faves weren’t released in theaters: the original Lorax movie and The Chipmunk Adventure.
I had to edit a list three times trying to make one w/no Disney/Pixar. This list is mad random doe. Cloudy w/Chance of Meatballs The Little Prince Fern Gully Brave Little Toaster The Iron Giant Book of Life Ponyo Kubo & the 2 Strings We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story
All Dogs Go To Heaven is my favorite feature length animation. BUT, The Iron Giant comes in at a close second. Makes you chuckle when you thought you wouldn't (like the post-dive scene that sent Dean to the middle of the street). And, it got some tears out of me (disclaimer, that's not hard with me, I'm a softie). Overall, you have a solid list and I'll put "The Illusionist" on my list of movies to watch.
Mind blown.... I've been following you man for like the past 6 months been catching up on all your videos and everything you make my day.. But I see this list and no TOY STORY 2!!!! PLEASE EXPLAIN
If I'm forced to leave anime off the list, then I'll try to list those that I either watch continually, enjoyed immensely, or that impacted me heavily. In no particular order: 1. "Transformers: The Movie"...messed me up as a kid. By the way, a hearty "Universal Greeting" to all you true animation-heads! 2."The Last Unicorn." 3. "Mary and Max" had me crying like a baby, not too many people that I can suggest that one too because they aren't seriously into animation. 4. "The Nightmare Before Christmas." 5. "Megamind." 6. "The Secret of NIMH." 7. "Rango." 8. "Monster House." 9. "The Croods." 10. "Osmosis Jones." Yeah, I'm going past 10...so what! I love animation. 11. "The Tale of Despereaux" 12. "A Scanner Darkly" 13. "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole." 14. "Battle for Terra." 15. "The Road to El Dorado." 16. "The Little Prince." 17. "Coraline." 18. "Charlotte's Web" 19. "The Red Turtle." (La tortue rouge) 20. "Rise of the Guardians." I could go on and on...didn't even touch any of the Bakshi films. Thanks for reading.
MsCasstastic Yes!!! I love the owl movie. Really feel like people didn’t give it a chance. Good list. I just can’t get with Caroline.....those button eyes creep me out to this day.
You should totally do an Anime one. I cannot believe Chicken Run was only an honorable mention! Also, Fern Gully, Thumbelina, Cats Don't Dance...Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmaron!!!
I'm hella grown now. But Transformers the Movie will always be my #1 of any movie. I appreciate that it was on your list. I was 7 or 8 when that came out. Saw it with my big cousin at Grand Lake in Oakland. Theatre was packed with kids. We cheered and clapped oooed and awed. One of the best times of my life as kid. You get a billion cool points for puttin' that on your list.
First off, it was good to meet you in Indianapolis y’all put on a hell of a show. My list I would add only two from yours GI Joe the animated 80’s movie and a animated movie that got slept on but is dope called Renaissance feat Daniel Craig it was a great action type it was black-and-white but the animation was still great. I’m like you if the animation is trash I don’t really want any parts of it
Land Before Time.. man, that shit had me in tears when Littlefoot's mom dies. An then I teared up again at the end with that Diana Ross musical piece. Bruh...
The Road to El Dorado is one of the greatest animated movies in film history. It's up there with Lion King, and Toy Story. I have the theme song on my phone.
These were some classics, but there are some joints missing. "An American Tale", "The Brave Little Toaster", "The Chipmunks Movie", and "Rocka-Doodle" lol
My top ten. Not in any order: Waterbabies Charlotte's web The Hobbit Wizards Snoopy come home Heavy metal The last unicorn Flight of dragons Animalolympics
I like Osmosis Jones
I'm surprised All Dogs Go To Heaven wasn't on your list.....especially after seeing A Land Before Time as your number 10.
ManicMeeks all dogs go to heaven is a classic. This is why it's hard to do a top 10. We gotta narrow it down to like the last 10 years or some. Cause there's a lot that people don't about in this generation.
If it was called All Cats Go To Heaven it would make the list😂😂😂💖
I got to go back further with "Rock & Rule" or "Animalympics".
Hatshepsut Akasha Seshat 😂😂😂 bro you ain’t lying
Man I love all dogs go to heaven I grew up to that movie
The Road to El Dorado
Yessssss
Prince of Egypt kicks blows almost all of these other movies out of the water for me. I love that movie sooo much. Tony kind of understated how good the music is
absolutely! should have been higher on the list for sure in my opinion
I watched it so many times and I hate rewatch stuff
Man, I still kinda rock with When You Believe. The movie version, of course. While I love Whitney and Mariah version, it just doesn't have the same heart.
Ferngully the last rain forest, 1992 Fox. Don’t sleep on it my guy.
Dsgb Gaboy4life 👏👏👏👏👏
For real, don't sleep.
Dsgb Gaboy4life loved Ferngully
They still trying to pretend we don't know that Avatar is the Fern Gully remake
True
"I wish I could pee on batman forever" 😂😂😂
I have
best laugh all through..."take a dump, and wipe with Batman & Robin"
I want George Clooney to explain why he did that movie
🤣🤣🤣
Bebe kids?
IOozeAwesomeness def.
I done forgot all about Bebe's kids. Not a lot of people saw that movie though, it was really obscure. The popular reference is way more successful then the movie ever even aspire to be.
Delly Tancyl yea that movie probably a lil too hood for Tony’s liking
Classic
This is a dope ass list. I might have to find that Illusionist joint.
My favorite non-disney movies would be (no particular order):
1. Shrek
2. Iron Giant
3. Shark Tale
4. Chicken Run
5. Osmosis Jones
6. Antz
7. Batman & Mr. Freeze
8. Monster House
9. Ice Age
10. Wallace & Gromit
My honorable mention is The Rugrats Movie...that scene with Tommy Pickles and his brother, alone, deserved an Oscar!!!! He held his brother down and was like "Fuck you, imma kill you with these NANNERS!" lmao
Antz was a good one.
Illusionist AND Triplets of Belleville are both FABULOUS
Batman the animated series is still the best Batman.
Brave & Bold is 🔥
Hands Down!!!
Unless you haven't seen either one of these three, we're going to have to fight 👊👊😂
1. The Secret of Nimph
2. American Tail
3. How to Train Your Dragon
Danielle Vaughn American Tail was the shit
Secret if nimph is boring and wack but the other two are straight
I endorse American Tail too AND Fivel Goes West.
Hell Yeah for 1, don't think I really got into Fivel, and I have to watch these eventually.
Yes ALL of these are great.
Fiviel goes west. Rango.Rio.
Recently found your channel and binge watched all the review vids! Keep up the good work.... Road to El Dorado, Balto, The Pagemaster, All Dogs go to Heaven and An American Tail were missed imo
Huey X The pagemaster tho
Road to El Dorado!! I LOVE that movie, and the music wasn’t horrible either. i like Fievel Goes West better but I’m biased cuz that was the first one I saw.

Dude, you went Disney on us
I definitely agree with the #1. Iron Giant is so awesome. Its emotionally touching as well. i also believe that the prince of egypt as well as land before time should been #2 on the list. @@karaamundson3964 Neith is Osmosis Jones and it made the list.
You forgot Fern Gully. Robin Williams as Batty Koda was classic
I agree with your number 1
I think another honorable mention or something you may have forgotten is The Simpsons Movie
Marcus M. The Simpsons Movie doesn't get enough love. It was great
If we including anime style, Akira and Afro Samurai two of my favorites. I can watch Afro Samurai any day of the week.
IceRevolver facts. Sword of the Stranger, too
Afro samurai is made by gonzo. So it cant be on the list
shane phillips gonzo is under disney
Wait, no Ninja Scroll in this piece? What?
No Anime included but Akira and Afro are dope. Along with Ninja Scroll, Devilman the Apocalypse of Amon. Oh, and Mad Bull 34 (Manime).

I’m like you if the animation is trash I don’t really want any parts of it
How To Train Your Dragon was dope too. But great video as always Tony!
Man...you have great taste... Prince of Egypt and Iron Giant are my faves
Transformers: The Animated Movie from the 80’s was incredible, that’s my #1

Great top 10 yeah shrek was dope and iron giant such a classic. I feel like your going to have to do a Disney top 10 now?
An American Tale though? That scene where boi reunites with his family? Gets me every time...😢
IRON GIANT is one of the greatest animated movies ever. Great list!
Sir, THANK YOU for putting Osmosis Jones on this list!!!!! It’s so slept on!
I know I am super duper late, but...sounds like maybe a top 10 Disney/Pixar animated movie list is needed. IJS
When you said Batman: Mask of The Phantasm I had to look for it on Amazon. I love that movie.
These were some classics, but there are some joints missing. "An American Tale", "The Brave Little Toaster", "The Chipmunks Movie", and "Rocka-Doodle" lol
James and the Giant Peach, circa 61. For its time, it was an incredible spectacle. Then there's MY fav, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, circa '77
After watching Tony Baker's videos my bad day just becomes a good day
How to Train Your Dragon is definitely up there for me! Thinking back on it, DreamWorks could have it's on list. I forgot about Madagascar & Megamind.
Osmosis was one of those not liked by critics by loved viewers....low-key a hidden gem nowadays
Rango has got to be the most underrated cartoon movie out there, "we're back" was smoooove in the 90s too
Land before time was my movie! I still know the songs 😂. I would add Fern Gully, happy feet, antz, we're back:a dinosaur's story and balto
The Road to Eldorado 💕🎶 best soundtrack EVERRRR
The Prince of Egypt was the best for me (outside of Disney films)
Little fit? I just introduced my son to Osmosis Jones. He loved it. This was a good list
