- See the sea lions on Guardian Angel Island in Baja California.
Puerto Refugio is the huge bay on the Northern tip of the island flanked by three smaller islands - Isla Mejia, Isla Division, and Isla Granito.
The famous Sail Rock guards the entrance to the beautiful bay.

I went there Couple of times from Bay of La when I was much younger what a desolate cool place My dad saw A Shark Devour A seal right off the beach in the 70's he took that day off of spearfishing , nice Video thanx

Noe Berengena, the Sea of Cortez is in between two arid zones, the Baja California Peninsula and the State of Sonora Mexico on the main land. These areas are practically deserts right next to the sea. There were never any trees on these smaller islands except for smaller brush and endemic species of cacti.

That is Isla Granito. Yes, you can swim with the sea lions, with good care obviously.

Its real name is Baja California instead of Baja.
The name California is not exclusive to a US state, as well as the name Mexico is not exclusive to that country.
