Ryan Gosling has a brilliant mind
Saw the movie on accident in the middle of the night on HBO. It really stuck with me and I still think about it from time to time. So maybe not a great movie in the traditional sense but a great movie none the less.
after watching the film. i'm hooked on the song, Tell me, Icant get it out of my head
An excellent story of breaking the curse of the plutocratic society we live in at present. The Dino head represents the past when we had a fair trade agreement with the world and a government that prevented monopolies from forming.. The banker represents the uncaring wealthy people who have no shame in what they do to the general populous .The banker in this movie plays a great twisted version of Scrooge and Gecko . The gangsters, lewd entertainment and illegal salvaging represents the rise of human degradation and violence in a society without work.

Most people seem to be impressed with Ryan Gosling but, had I been there, the one I would be completely star struck over is Matt. Ryan has done a lot of big movies but he's NOT the Doctor. What makes me even less crazy about him is that he doesn't even realize how big a deal the man sitting next to him is.

I take no stock in reviews. Kingdom of Heaven, which I thought was a beautiful film, was reviewed awfully, yet the new ghostbusters got, like, 3x as much praise.
They mean nothing. I think this film is brilliant and it got bad reviews, I thought only god forgives was brilliant, yet that too got negative reviews.

As long as the movie is authentic and isn't just money grabbing formulaic garbage, it doesn't matter if only some 100 people like it. Nothing is universal.
I think this movie had flaws, but I loved it regardless. There are enough movies out there that are panned everywhere but garner a cult following decades later for us to know that critic ratings don't mean much to us viewers.
Loved the film.
