  • After the removal of the Chcotaws tot he west, the remaining Choctaws faced hardships. Being in dire poverty, and no work to be found, the Choctaws turned tot he work of sharecropping to survive.

    My grandpa was a proud Choctaw-Cherokee sharecropper in the early 1900s
    He brought the pride to California and be game a rancher homeowner with a wonderful life of very hard work
