Hey bro! thank you for the reacting to my stuff once more, i'm always happy to see you enjoying it, sadly i recorded that video when i didnt have that routine with every sound nice and clean, and the structure was some times a little messy and unstable, but thank you once again man
Man don't ever apologize for rambling! We are literally here to watch you ramble and lay out your train of thoughts! These kids are absolutely insane. I don't know what to expect to see on stage in the coming decade! Thanks for all the hard work on your videos!
Agreed about rambling. At the end of the day, we are here for his opinion, otherwise we'd have just supported the original content, yeah? We are here for you, Dlow.
I like Dan's supportiveness in this type of videos. He can be critical when it is necessary, give really helpful advice yet be so exciting about every second. Best boost of self-esteem ever. Even me, who is not even 0.00001% of a beatboxer start to believe that I will able to do something like this one day P.S. All kids are fire, but Ale... This is something unbelievably amazing!
Absolutely agree! He is critical but never speaking down to them. He is always so hyped about the level of fire these kids are and just wants to help push them to the next level.
It is extraordinarily wholesome to see dlows genuine happiness. You can tell he is truly excited about the next generation, like a very very proud dad haha
10:32 Storm I am so proud of this lad, I saw so much potentail in this lad when I first met him, he has improved so much over time, He was only 12 when I first met him, and I was 2 years older than him (14). My guy Storm is most definitly going places.
😲 beatbox has come such a long way! amazing to see. 💯 i know nothing about it...just a grandma who remembers it vaguely from decades ago. but, these vids recently started popping up in my feed and i'm so glad. didn't take long to figure out you're in the cream of the crop, for sure. 😉 and it was super fun to watch your sincere reaction to these kids annnnd to see you stop and pull out sounds yourself...it opened up a whole new level of appreciation for how amazingly complicated it all really is! mind blown & opened at the same time...thank you! 🤟😎💜 *also...i was digging storm...had a resonance i can imagine really feeling in my body if it were a live performance if that makes sense 🙃
It's not even Christmas, but this Saturday will be like that... so excited for that song! Also curious which dlow-genre it will be^^ Also always happy to see a video of yours! Any content type... :D Have a good one everyone
They're all insane beatboxers and I'm really glad that one of them is from Brazil. Gotta show some love to him and expect a great improvement upcoming. As I said they're all good and I wouldn't like to be judging these kids in a competition. Good luck to you D-low. #D-lowjudge
Pretty new here. Had a friend who dabbled growing up that I wish I could send this to because I know he would've had a blast. He's not here any more tho. Everyone here is fun to listen to. Loved the commentary, recreations, playfulness, and positivity from you too. Really good stuff. Favorite? Maaaaybe Storm cause i liked the sounds but thats not fair because they were all enjoyable.
Duckzy and dlows advice really reminds me of my vocal scene. Deathcore music. Where everyones just trying to top each other with the craziest sounds possible. While impressive a handful of times, hearing the most wild stuff again and again makes it lose its magic ya know? Like dlow said, some pauses would be appreciated. Some more random tempo changes are always an attention grabber. One of my vocal teachers always said. "Sometimes its more important to know when not to vocalize".
d low, i love you man/ You have kept me sane through the worst parts of my life. Whether its hearing you beatbox or listening to you react to someone else beatbox with you reacting to it. The sounds and your energy are what keep my mind at bay, every time i tune into your videos it brings me great peace and comfort listening to some sick beats that shouldn't even be achievable through the human vocal cords. Im so glad to see you keep going, and i appreciate every second of it. I know your a human like the rest of us, but never stop doing what your'e doing, such a legend man, i love you from the bottom of my heart
also, i think there needs to be a renaissance of beatbox. A year or two ago there was so much originality, and you touching on that inspires so many people to create new sounds and find there own style. You are truly a real one d low. I fuking love you man, (no homo)
The more i watch this video the more i agree with you. Todays beatbox is basically ear grape and its just too much. If you havent heard bigman beatbox, thats what i would like beatbox to come back to, before coming back to the more crazy stuff and finding new crazy sounds. People want to find the most crazy sound, but they keep going back to the same rythyms that are the easiest to achieve and succeed at. Instead of finding their own melody that suits them. Its a little disappointing watching these videos since the majority is doing the same things that repeat themselves and bring nothing new to the table. On the other hand though, Ale is a legend and is absolutely insane making his own sounds although using basic grooves that you can predict
My favourite was Izen, just liked the sounds, flow and the visuals were cool too. What I liked about this video though was that you paused the video and explained why the sound was so cool, I think many of us don't have enough experience to tell all of the sounds apart and make sense of the complexity. Also I like that you choose your favourite, many youtubers are too scared that doing it will hurt beatboxers feelings.
On a skill level, every one of them are phenomenal and I enjoyed them all. On an originality level, I feel like Ale stands out to me most because I feel like for the rest of them I can hear derivatives from other beatboxers. Not in the sounds but like patterns and flows. That isn't a bad thing because they're young and the fact that they had an opportunity to have this wealth of beatbox knowledge online has definitely helped them reach these extreme levels of skill at such a young age. They just need time to mature and find their own signature styles that are easily discernible and I think Ale is the closest amongst that group to finding it.
been beatboxing for 2.5 years and my favorite was storm. ive watched the vid a few times now and i cant even understand half of the sounds and combos he did. blows my freaking mind man
M1KLZ drop at 5:58 is so good and it keeps getting stuck in my head. I first heard it on his livestream with Zekka and Osis and everytime it surprises me
I've never heard that " meta " meant most efficient tactics available! I just new that meta- as in the prefix of metaphysics stands for what is "above". Metaphysics is what is above what is physical, for example. Thats nice to hear
Meta in this sense comes from metagaming, which is a term that comes from old ttrpgs then made its way to video games, rather than roleplaying in the spirit of DnD or something you would use your knowledge of the game rules or your 'Meta knowledge' of the game system to create an overpowered character to abuse the system
Seeing a pro recreate a sound and commend himself THEN immediately remind us that the original was actually sick is a HUGE shoutout to who DLow is as a person and I really respect that!
I agree that a lot of the current beatboxers rely on spamming as many techniques in as possible while not structuring a pleasing or musical arrangement. I think that's why King Inertia was so refreshing at the last GBB as his set was a bit slower but was so catchy and atmospheric. Back in 2019, Codfish also wowed with tunes rather than thousands of fast techniques.
ale's inward bass sounds more like a bass guitar than others ive heard.....e.g. heliums sounds more like a bass synth with a little rattle....ale's has a softness to it lending to the bass guitar sound....so good to see him still rising
Cheers Super D. Awesome content as always. I fucxng love BB. Kids get any younger and bboxing like a pro, they will be doing it before they leave the maternity ward, haha.
What i do for the whistle lip roll i just put my tongue in a slight click roll position. Its like i roll it back in the middle of the mouth. Not super far, like a mix of click roll and hollow clop. Not the roof of the mouth either, just hovering in the middle rolled up. Doing that and then a lip roll gives me a lip roll and a whistle at the same time
Bro first of all have you done a full fledged music course cause you damn deep about the beats and sounds and music like big up for that and as well as your analysis is so simple and understandable that it makes me see complex things with simple eyes And please make a tutorial on difference between snore bass and inward bass and how to identify them when we do these..., please Btw I liked Izens Beat 🪘
All Beatboxers are sooo crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥 In my opinion: 1. Izen: extremely good and very nice structure 🏆 2. Ale: His drops and musicality are insane! 🪄 3. Storm: Advanced tech sounds and combos 🎯 But to be fair all the others are already so good I would kill (dont takt to seriously its just a saying) to get to their level
Really bother me that he didn't watch the Beatbox International Storm clip, feels so much cleaner and structured ! I like everyone in the vid, but that BboxInt one got stuck in my head for way to long, i still can't express clearly why atm.
