      I plan to fabricate a custom metal bumper for it soon, thats why I didn't do too much mods to the stock bumper

    What material have you used for the plate? Can you mention the dimensions? What's the width and the height of it? By the way it is awesome

    • @Zaff_TT
      @Zaff_TT  2 роки тому

      Thanks bud ! It's 32"x6" and its made from 1/8" thick sheet metal

    I really like this! May do it myself, do you think with some more solid mounting bolts it would be possible to weld some recovery points onto it? Would you? What will you do for recovery points? As the standard ones are rubbish

    • @Zaff_TT
      @Zaff_TT  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah, it's def possible. I'd probably use thicker material to make it. There's a lot of aftermarket bolt-on recovery hardware for the jimny, you can look at their design and incorporate it into the plate to make things easier instead of designing it from scratch. Hope this helps ! :)

    I have a manual JDM Suzuki Jimny gen 2 (JA22) with a blown 3 cyl 660cc engine. I want to upgrade to gen 3 (JB43) 1300cc with automatic transmission. Assuming I can purchase the parts from Japan, will the gen 3 engine/ tranny combo (within reason) drop into my gen 2 chassis? I am set up to accomplish some moderate chassis fab mods, but wont want to challenge anything super elaborate. What are your thoughts? BTW am in Vancouver, but happen to be Trini. I just stumbled across your channel this morning. Any input would be greatly and humbly appreciated.
