This video was the perfect Sunday video. I love eclectic. So many journeys! Thanks buddy. I could do the sa.e rant with the military budgets that they had extra money each month. Sold so much stuff that was for them to waste
I have lost all faith in them...and thats coming from someone who kept him self to himself...taxes go up and its all wasted....total mess by their making. Hope you're doing ok and managing to get out and ride.

Well, that was quite a little mix! Nice to see you out on the 850 again, a man needs a boxer in in his life, Its the benchmark to judge lesser motorcycles by.... Those parklet things are some .odd, whoever designed that had a fair sense of humour. Y'know, it wouldn't surprise me to see that extended right across the road at some point or narrowed in to a 'bus gate' only. E.C.C seem to be making some odd decisions of late. That little arcade has always been an interesting little place, off the beaten track from the main shops but it always seems 'alive' in there! For what it's worth i know a guy who makes guitars at a firm out Spreyton way!
I'm with you on the boxer Mr Ken. Although its still doing my head in on many plains....popping exhaust is just the start. If you see that guitar chap, could you let him know I'm interested in knocking up a vid with him please...ill pop out and ask questions how its done and make a vid on it.
Mcoys arcade really is quite nice and makes you feel your away from it all.

I also enjoy making these although sometimes i make them and I have a crap day so it all goes to pot and I bin the video. I think you had one pop up today so I'll watch that shortly. Exmouth train stations are some impressive places if you know where to look.
Playing stairway to heaven in the guitar shop could be a good video idea...although short with the violence that will be inflicted on me I expect.

What an awesome guitar shop, I’m more of an acoustic player myself but I totally get what you mean about the look of an electric guitar, it’s so cool regardless of whether you play or not.
You’re spot on about budget mate, highways work needs permits which takes time, so they need to spend it on quick things like those weird “social spaces”
I’m not a train man myself but I can appreciate a well cared for train with comfortable seating, Red would love this kind of thing ☺️

Trains ain't really my thing,although was pretty blown away seeing that Harry Potter train a couple of years back,which I just heard today it's been taken off the rails due to some BS about it needing to have central locking installed,for the usual health & safety BS! 😮

I agree...who could ever come up with such stupid ideas! The screen used to be good, but over the years its worn away with the constant wind hitting the plastic. It worn right out now!
My 2nd attempt. Bottom line with government budgets is their darn buckets of money. I made s whole lot of enemies trying to reallocate money from one bucket to another.

I admire folk who strive to keep these old trains in working order. The style and quality of the old stock is far superior to the modern stuff.
Good example of how Mr BB and his crowd waste the ratepayers money.
I think it will be very sad once these companys wind up or times move on and they get stuck in a musuem. It must be a nightmare to run let alone insure these types of business, but as it stands, wonderful to see. Some of the old stations really get you away from it all. The somerset railway is superb as well as I expect you know.
Not sure if you know but they are extending the unused whipton cycle lane (Vaughan Road) through to Rifford road, massive project! but only costing 1.8 million and the road will only be shut for 52weeks....could be worse......Potholes are still here to fall down if you get a spare moment. Bunch of fruitcakes arnt they!!

Whenever I see you on your 850r I wish I had kept my 1100r. It just scared me on diy. U would think simple but, I had to pay for a brake bleed first time ever and just thought was out of fashion. Damn

Mansons 😢, at least it's still a guitar shop. Manson retired and it could have gone to anybody. Nice train, if my son hadn't been working, we would have gone to that. If councils have money left over, they haven't been spending it as much as they should have. They hoard it, then splurge on something useless grrrrrr.

The new guitar shop is as good as mansons but with less neon cool lights. Still a nice place to loose yourselve for 30 minutes though,then go for a coffee in Mcoys which is pretty nice and under cover but still gives you the feeling of being outside.

I notice that the seating area objay dart had a small plaque on it saying levelling up. How's that supposed to help people of Exeter in levelling up? Basically putting seats in the middle of the road.

Those Parklets look awful and a massive waste of money. Councils moan there's not enough money for essential services, pay themselves a fortune and come up with daft ideas.

Absolutely scandalous waste of money for that `social space` that should be renamed `waste of space`. Our council tax has just risen by over 5% and the council wanted to raise it 10% because they are £100,000,000 (Yes one hundred million pounds) in debt.
100,000,000....wtf then spend money on this. it seems to me that only 10% of taxes get spent wisely ,the rest is blown into the wind!!
If it wasn't such a serious waste of money those 'fill your nostrils with diesel fumes parklets' would be laughable - a legal form of fly tipping with tax payers money. Why would anybody want to socialise on a bench in the middle of a busy street with no view! In the highly unlikely event that anybody has enjoyed a relaxing social encounter on one of the new 'parklets' I do apologise for my level of bias.......Not for me I'm afraid. Cheers anyway though!
I'm with you, its crazy and a total waste . They seem to have no prioritization of where the money goes..sadly the £50k on these 2 parklets is a drop in the ocean compared to some of the other council schemes in Exeter...more to come on that !
