And some dewy foundations are so well-made that they can still hold up/not break down on oily skin, even if there IS significant shine breakthrough. It's good to know which ones those are, for those of us with combo skin!

Hands down the revolution one is truly wonderful. I have terribly dry skin and this doesn't sook up all the moisture. My mum has acne prone oily skin and she had to borrow mine and she wore it all day. So it also works well on ageing skin and oily skin. She did have to powder a little bit, but she does that with every foundation so not really relevant.

I am so glad you are successfully reconnecting with your mom. You look so happy when you talk about her. It doesn't matter how old we are, we always want our moms.
I love a dewy look. To me, it's the healthiest, most natural look. That's so nice learning that your mom watches your videos. She should! It's probably, at least partly, a generational thing. I'm going to go in the morning and spend the day with my mother. I save funny YT videos for these times with her but it has taken a while for her to get the hang of watching a video rather than watching television. She was a child during the depression but it's like she has this idea that you have to work during the day, at all times, and can only relax or watch TV at night.
You're the real deal girl! Loved when you said "hi mom!" So sweet that you're getting to spend time with her. I've been making videos for 4 years & neither my mom or dad watch, so I'm so happy that you get that support. Lovd your kind heart & soul Zabrena! 💜
My daughter talked to me about not asking enough about her horse training, racing. I love and text her daily, but now I remember to ask about her life a little more in depth.

And I'm glad you got to find out your mom watches you as I'm sure that made you feel like she's proud. Which she should be because you are an incredible person! 💜 Hope Jett has fun with soccer! Seeing little kids play sports is the cutest thing ever! When we were teens my brother use to ref soccer games and he always had a blast because it was this group of tiny kids all running in a circle or running to chase a butterfly! 😂

The foundation actually looked beautiful on the skin, I'm glad that I had never purchased the multi sticks, I wasn't too sure, I am so glad that you had a wonderful time with your mom and also for your children to get to know her ❤
Stephanie Castro I like the multi sticks as eyeliners you smudge out. It doesn’t apply well to the waterline. I haven’t tried them anywhere but the eyes and never as a liquid shadow.
@@jacquelinekenknight9280 I have been wondering if you could use them as an eyeliner, are they much better quality when you do that? What color do you like to use best?
Stephanie Castro I use the true purple a lot on my upper lash line as a liner and I’ll smudge it under my lashes too. It doesn’t work on your waterline though. I’ll run it across the lash line and use a brush to perfect it on top and then a brush to smudge it along the bottom. I also own the pink one and it isn’t dark enough to do much on your upper lash line but does fine smudged beneath!

I’ve tried those multi sticks too, and along the outside of the waterline is the only way they work at all.. they aren’t worth it!

Wow! Impressed! This is probably the third review of this new foundation I’ve seen, and I am sold. It wore amazingly well, and looked great with the Coty powder (my fave setting powder). Also glad that you tested these eyeshadows because I've been using stick shadows in the morning for a quick application. I'm bummed because I thought that the purple one was THE ONE! 💜 But I'll wait for a better one.

I have been happy with Wet n Wild photo finish Foundation. Can't wait to try the dewy foundation. I have dry skin so will probably have good results. That purple eye shadow is gorgeous.

okay zabrena watching another tutorial of foundation by you is making me buy yet another foundation - i have so many foundations at this point but your review is making me buy this wet n wild one (also buying that primer that smells of roses) one more thing honey - i am old enough to be your mom and if you were my daughter i would be soooooo very proud (great mom, wife and entrepreneur) - just wanted to add that.

As someone with oily skin, I appreciate that you review dewy foundations. Just because I’m oily doesn’t mean I always want to look matte. Matte foundations can tend to look unflattering on aging skin. I would rather see a review from an oily skin type because it would give me a better idea on how a foundation will perform on my skin.

I messaged wet n wild Instagram when I couldn’t find my color in the cushion foundation and they told me this new foundation that would be out soon (the one you are reviewing) is the same formula but different packaging.

Yay! I'm so glad to hear that! I just bought this today because I ran out of foundation and I'm a fan of the price. I really like the cushion, too, but I didn't see it. Tbh, that cushion foundation in combination with the maybelline fit me powder was the only combination that my brother actually told me that my skin looked good in, out of nowhere, I didn't even ask him. He isn't a fan of cake face, so when he told me that, I knew this combo was good lol

very good video. you were right about this foundation. it really is good. bought mine at walmart in the shade, rose ivory, and it was the right color for my face. i loved how it makes your face glow. it felt soft and powdery on your face.

I bought that multi stick (the dark blue shade) and used it as an eyeliner on the top, for a POP of color to match my shirt (no other shadows).I did set it with translucent powder but I almost always set my eyeliners anyway when I use them that way, even high end. That's how I used it tho and it lasted all day and I loved it. I think it was about $2 at the Walmart near me.
Thank you for reviewing a dewy foundation. I have very dry skin, and I know you have oily. But I trust your reviews, you are very honest and don't use filters so we can actually see how the product looks on the skin. 💜

I know you said you were much more close with your dad, so it’s awesome to hear that you had a “realization moment” with your mom❤️ I think some of us (let’s be honest a LOT of us) have a hard time with communication. We say the wrong things, we don’t reach out as much as we should, but I truly believe that underneath it all our intentions are good. I hope you continue to have more moments like that in the coming years!
