    Andy Dalton had his best years as a quarterback in Cincinnati with Jay Gruden as his offensive coordinator. They went to the playoffs 3 years in a row in a division where they had to play the ravens and steelers twice a year.

    We have to reduce the penalties and somehow stop the run! If we get bounced in the first round it will still have been the best season they've had since I was 19yrs in 1991.

    Only thing I’m worried about is losing leaders like Ertz and Wagner.. will the young guys be ready? Especially with the tougher schedule.. I don’t think we will collapse but maybe 9-11 wins if the young guys truly step up. Excited time to be a fan! After so much struggle!!
    I’ll never understand bandwagoners because how much joy would you feel without all the suffering??

    • @johnkeim4748
      @johnkeim4748 22 години тому

      Always tougher the next year; I don't think wagner wants to retire and Ertz told me he wanted to retire playing for Kliff. So if he's back, then i would think Ertz returns. But not sure yet... I also think the roster they need to be a serious contender is another offseason or two away. nothing wrong with that, but it does take time and it highlights how good a coaching job was done -- and how much Jayden Daniels means to the team.

    If Jay Gruden is such a great/good offensive coach as you say, how come he hasn't been hired by a NFL team in over 5 years? He has been lobbying and doing every thing he can to get back into the league, but there hasn't been any takers. Rather, his offensive coordinator at the time, Sean Mcvay, is the genius offensive mind. Oh...by the way...he won a superbowl.

    • @johnkeim4748
      @johnkeim4748 6 годин тому

      "As I say" Actually it's what all those coaches would say as well -- as well as those who played for him. If people in the NFL told you different, cool. But Not sure why this statement offends you. Yes, Sean is a phenomenal offensive mind; not like it has to be one or the other. Sean's detailed coaching was very good for Jay.

    • @denniscasely-hayford3245
      @denniscasely-hayford3245 5 годин тому

      @johnkeim4748 I am not offended. I have a different opinion. Again, how come he hasn't gotten a job thus far? It has been over 5 years. The proof is grounded in the pudding.
