    Hello, Italian here! Just so you know at 59:28 that sign "Sposato Mario" is what I believe is called in english a death notice! I don't know if this is something still used in other countries, but usually when someone dies (in this case it's Mario Sposato, RIP) they put around the neighbourhood these notices with info about the funeral so people can attend it! I honestly don't know if it's something that other countries also do and a quick search on the internet really didn't give me a lot of info on it, so I would love to hear about it!

    • @RubidiumOxide
      @RubidiumOxide 2 роки тому +19

      Maybe they do it some places in the US, but if so I’ve never heard of it. We usually just put them in the newspaper (or online equivalent) here, called an “obituary”

      We do it in Greece, for funerals, and we also do it for 3-day, 15-day and 40-day memorial services (the deceased's name, age, sometimes occupation, some mention the names of family and friends, along with the place said services are gonna be held, usually a church or something, are written in a piece of paper, usually with a cross on it, that's posted in the neighbourhoods the deceased was known). I think it's more of a European-Continental thing and less an USA thing?
      We call them νεκρόσημα, or αγγελτήρια θανάτου/κηδείας/μνημοσύνου, and sometimes for memorial services there will be more than one peron mentioned in these notices, (since memorial services after the usual 3-day, 15-day and 40-day memorial services are usually held on convenient days and times for the remaining family and friends, and therefore can be shared for multiple deceased).

    • @alesacc
      @alesacc 2 роки тому +7

      @@israfelfrost6065 yeah that sounds very similar to what we do here so I'm sure it's more of an European thing but it's still super interesting to know how things that are common to us are very culturally different! Thanks for sharing!!

    I was playing Darkest Dungeon whilst listening to this and have now named my Highwayman 'Jacob' and my Graverobber 'Julia'. I am considering getting a Houndmaster named Nathan and a Plague-Doctor named David but I honestly have no clue what Karina would be - maybe an antiquarian? She definitely owns a lot of anime figurines which are sort of like antiques, right?

    I keep holding out hope that one day we'll get Tasmania, Australia up and get plonked in like Grindelwald or Oatlands or something because Tassie has so many places that feel more European than Australian and it'd be sooooo interesting to see your reactions to it!

    I’ve been watching and listening to a lot of Drawfee and SSS content the past few days/weeks and I gotta say; I think Jacob is peak inspiration and ~gender~ for when I feel masc
    completely unrelated: I am so used to USAmerican streamers/content creators having no clue about the rest of the world and not being able to differentiate or at least comment-non-judgmentally on other cultures, countries, or languages that seeing the two of you being so well informed and curious and funny is just 10/10... I enjoy your streams a lot, I really do

    Something that would be really funny to have playing at your wedding is the version of Cha-Cha Slide where it’s all to the left. I played this at my grad party over the summer and someone fell in my pool. Good troll song.
    Also one possible reason for Nathan not wanting a tattoo is because of Jewish culture. People with tattoos can’t be buried in a Jewish cemetery, which might be an issue for him and/or his family

    When Toulouse came up I immediately recognized the square, which was a weird experience as someone who has only been abroad once. The square is a beautiful area which usually has lots of street vendors (you can see their tents across from the Google cam).
    I was like: Toulouse???????????? and then it was
