Nice job, although the background music was a little irritating. Good luck in your new home.
You'll get some shelves built, don't sweat the mess. I have some that I made out of halved 2x4s (a tad bigger than 2x2s)and 7/16 OSB. They've served me well for over 5 years. and we're fairly cheap. I use a lot of scraps on my shop fixtures too. And congrats on the new house.
Thank you very much. I actually used some OSB on my shop cabinets. That stuff is so cheap along with some 2x4s that it is hard to beat.
Thanks for the comment and watching.

I like OSB for shop fixtures. In my experience its more stable then plywood. It seems like every time I try plywood for a project it warps.

I actually just recently built some cabinets and used OSB for it. I like it because of how much cheaper it is and it is pretty strong too. Doesn't look great, but if it is in areas where it won't be seen it works pretty good.
I have actually been thinking about replacing the sheetrock on the wall with OSB.
Brother my dad bought me one of these Craftsman miter saw stands just this past Christmas 2018 and and I just want to say that it makes life so much easier and the miter saw is also a major Workhorse in the Woodworking Arsenal if you don't have a Craftsman miter saw stand invest in one or one just like it Craftsman makes an extremely heavy duty solid miter saw stand I know this for a fact Long Live Sears/Craftsman tools!!!!
I hope that Sears stays open. They usually have good sales and have some unique tools. The one near me already closed and then one about an hour away is closing now too.
As far as the miter saw stand. This one is a great stand. It works very well even with the 12" sliding miter saw.
@@MyNextProject they were going to close one near me also but they got bailed out again so they're going to stay open near where I'm at
Well then lucky you.
They are decent stores, I guess just poorly managed. Kinda sad.
Your stops on the outrigger rollers are on backward it looks like,.The flip-ups plates should be on outside to flip-up when you want to use stops so board still rest on rollers.
There is a stop on that side. It allows you to "clamp" them in place so that you can do repeat cuts and it holds the board up so that it won't sag when you push it to the stop.
But I am pretty sure it will work either way.
Is this the process to put together any type of miter saw stand? Ive got a warrior from Harbor Freight and it said nothing about
This is a craftsman miter saw stand. I would think they would be very similar.
Thinking about storing my Miter saw mounted to the stand vertical against the wall to free up some floor space. Has anyone else tried this?
I am not sure. I haven't seen it if they did. But that is a good idea. A miter saw takes up so much more room than most people realize.
Doesn't seem like it would be a problem for the saw, maybe the clamp mounts on the bench aren't designed for it. One way to find out, right?
Seems to work fine. Although the stand is not designed for it, meaning it doesn't stand on it's own. My stand does have wheels, so a little different than yours. Another great idea (to me) would be additional mounts to put other tools like a vice or grinder on the stand as well.
00nowhereman00 can you send me a picture of how you did it? On twitter or Instagram?
But that is interesting to know.
Another one with a video with loud music. I stopped the video at 1:08
Good luck with the next one.
I'm sorry the music was too loud for you.
I have lots of other videos and I know in my recent ones the music is not as loud as some of the other ones.
Thanks for letting me know.
Wwe
Background music...... WAY..... TOO..... LOUD!
lots of blah blah blah most of these videos, people are freaking annoying
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy that one. I have several other videos on my channel that you might enjoy more.
No those rails go on top of your quick release Handel's in the same direction not across. I would have thought the same but your directions will show you what I mean. Great job bud , thanks for the video!!
