Tom is somewhere out there looking for aliens when he had an alien playing drums in his band all along
Lmao!!
Ye lol
Best post ever kkkkkk
FACTS 😂🎉❤
totally
I can't believe how Travis still has his arms attached to his body, with such powerful windmills.
Because he always plays with passion.
🤣
he's playing it wrong
@@stellr88 that's what my harsh noise band said
Yeah I still wonder to
You know youve made it when you dont even have to sing your own songs, the crowd just sings for you
Mark the only guy in the band that remembers the making of dammit damn
Well, it is kinda hard to remember something you weren't there for.
Damnnnnnnn
That's sad Tom come back
baconfromhell666 mark was though and if your talking about me I was in fact much alive when it came out
He doesn't remember...
I love how travis can take the simplest song and turn it into the most complicated and make it look easy 😲😲😲
Three years later, do you still think this is complicated?
Most complicated 😂😂😂😂😂 where?))))
Tom's still the voice inside my yead
Kurt Lamprecht listen to live version
wrong song.
LOL he mean he miss tom
Tom sang the chorus in the live version. Listen to any live version of dammit before Tom left, he sings the chorus
@@kurtlamprecht93 listen to the live version
Awesome drummer. He’s been through a lot too.
Travis Barker and audience - Dammit
More appropriate title lol
I love that you can hear the crowd singing the whole thing
What’s with all the people complaining about the Lyrics on screen? That’s very normal for big bands. Metallica use them too and James has been singing some of their songs for over 30 years. It’s just to help if a singer gets lost for a moment. Being on stage can be pretty intense and hard to keep a clear mind.
especially when you have multiple vocalists...
100% agreed
Exactly, especially when you're kinda new to the band and the band had made 6 albums before you joined. That's quite a lot of songs to remember, even if you're not playing every song from every album.
I saw both Sting and Phill Collins forget lyrics. It's common.
Matt's always struggled with remembering lyrics, M Shadows from avenged sevenfold uses a lyric screen too
I have no idea how he maintains this energy through a gig, machine
It's a simple technique called "Being a drum god"
conditioning
Energy drink
I don't think it's the energy drinks......
hes vegan
you know when you get out of a loud concert and your ears are like semi deaf for awhile? I can feel that after watching this clip of the drums.
Beast Mode. One of the best drummers of all time, Travis the man!
Dede WK scott was a far more straightforward punk player, but Travis’ musicality and technical precision is eons above
Nope
If you like high energy and over the top symbol use then Travis is your man, if not then most other drummers would be preferred
Travis can play in SO SO many different ways on any set up. He started playing band and took jazz drumming lessons since he was a fucking CHILD! I think he on par with the likes of Tommy Lee, Neil Peart and Animal from The Muppet Show!
I'm reading Travis Barker's book and even his mates said, "(musically) Travis was the most talented in Blink 182." I'm about half way into the book and it is SO damn good. For any readers out there you should check it out. I think people don't read enough.... If they did they may just be a little more informed!
@@TheZowwee I do not even need to read anything. Music created by Blink since Travis is there clearly shows that he is the most talented. He is not just punk rock drummer, he is an educated musician.
Travis is an amazing drummer holy shit
That ending though. SKRTT SKRRRTTT SKRRRRRRT SKRT SKRT SKRRRRRRRRRT SKRTTTT
lol! somebody had to say it
Dahahahaha
🤣🤣
Can you imagine how many times they've played this song.
at least 3 times
travis is offically old. look how high up hes wearing his shorts lmao
skuz34 atleast he doesnt have a shirt on
you are officially 12. you have buttman as your pfp
it absolutely destroys me that I haven't gotten to film a drum cam with travis yet
I'm waiting. 😂
I'm sure you're much better, Justin. 😒 I'm well aware that there are plenty of better drummers but Travis kills it every time and he's one of the most humble dudes I've ever met.
do itttttttttt
You will eventually dude! :)
I used to get annoyed when drummers would over play songs like this and pay more attention to the visual aspects of performing than the actual musicality. But this guy must be SO totally sick of playing this songs. I guess he is doing something to make them fun. Oh yeah, last thing. He isn't this 'best in teh world' drummer that so many non musicians make him out to be.
This is my favorite version. My best friend loved Travis before his untimely death and this version lets me know why, amazing passion and reverence. But damn it’s bittersweet hearing those lyrics, miss you bud
Was never much of a Travis Barker fan, but I tip my hat to him on that performance.
Es el mejor baterista de punk de este siglo, gracias por esas canciones y esos redobles que nos regalaste Travis.
me pa que te olvidaste de Bill Stevenson amigo
All I can say is wow!! You go Travis dang!
This is the view I need every time. I love watching him play drums. Hell yeah
Ahhhh...... the good old days..... when we didn’t have to social distance
I'm Japanese!
very cool drummer!!!!
travis!!!!!!!!
steel my favorite band on this planet
I could watch Travis play drums forever. Tom's off chasing UFO's. Still love the guy.
I can't say how much horsepower Travis has
Uncountable, i mean look at him... xD
I remember hearing this song for the first time on Much Music in 1998, when I was 11. My mom went out of town with her sister and asked if I wanted her to bring me a gift. I think it was a toss up between a Tech Deck and 'the Blink 182 album'. I asked for the album. She brought it home, and I experienced it front to back using my Dad's fairly decent headphones. Dammit is obviously the most commercially successful single off the album; and that classic punk beat is something I hadn't really heard up until hearing Dammit on Much Music. But the album, and how it played as a whole, absolutely blew me away. Even as I type this I get a sense of nostalgic Deja vu that takes me back to that moment and the visceral feeling I had that night. I cannot overstate this- Dude Ranch changed my life. And while it's easy to complain and say today's music is shit, or that it's all too accessible, or too disposable- I am just glad that I got to experience punk music the way I did in the 90's and 00's.
Travis was like "F u guys. I'm running this show!"
Amazing video men good job🥁👍💃😘
Travis tighted up his drumming so much from when they started, I would say his drumming has probably changed on most their first albums since he became a drumming god, just alot more added in.
Amazing to watch Travis work
I bust out laughing when the smoke effects came up , Travis looked like he was summoning demons with wands
i f miss sm the good old days...
Amazing 🤩
Incredible 👍
Amazing
love it, the crowd is Tom, Skiba isnt heard, perfect movie!
🔥the best ever🔥
God sent an alien 👽 to earth to make jazzers aware from punk pop drummers .. what a performance from Travis 👏
Travis going hammers on the drums its amazing seen it from this point of view.
Cool cam!
Dont care what anyone says, travis barker is a fuckin monster behind the kit
OMG I WAS THERE
I was at this show was a good time
The next time I cover this song, I’m gonna try the windmill. It looks cool
He just goes insane on drums
NICE!
On my birthday 🎉 march 17!
Skiba looking back at Travis like "holy f**k!" lol
I can Travis being 85 years old and still playing like this
Their are legends 🤘🤙 don't forget with tom delonge too
He's a beast!
This could be a good backing track for guitar players.
Dont you have a video when mark asked me for my flag 🇲🇽?, its when at the end when they played DONT LEAVE ME.. thanks
Seems there's always one member that goes missing once one comes back with blink very disfunctional.
You cut it to early i missed Landon because i ran over to the famous booth real quick lol...
Behold the Travis! 🤘🏻
Travis be like: this Scott's drum line was boring.
yep i like travis version
@@davinsarizqialvatoni6610 personally I like scotts more. its faster. like Scott played way faster than tavis in this performance. but still travis is a fucking god
Except Travis couldn’t play the rapid hi-hat and crash hits during the verses without both his arms. Scott could play it with just One.
@@simplebutnotsolongname6642 Travis doesn’t play as fast as Scott in this clip anyway. He’s playing 4th notes here and Scott is playing 8th notes on the hi hat. But i’m sure Scott did too live since they often played the song alot faster back in the day. Travis just use both hands because it looks cool
@@DrumDevil95 that too
veri nice!!!!!!!
Travis is a drum god 🙌🏾
To be such a little dude, Travis Barker can hit a drum just about as hard as anyone on the planet.
I like that, no matter where they are performing (this is at a fairground, for example), he's gonna play it as hard as if they are playing in front of 50,000+ people at Wembley.
*He's a freak of nature... a seemingly nonstop, drumming machine!*
Travis He's not normal. He is the best!
Man you are good but my son is just as good i wish he could meet you thats my wish forever
one OF.. THE best What i saw from THEM!!!!!
Beat seat in the house right there
travis baker is not the best drumemr of all time, not the most technical, but STYYYYYYYYLE and just for this is one of my favorite
Still the best out there
You never sick
thousands of fans... singing for tom... in his absence
Stay true to YOURSELF Travis. Peace Christo
Travis is really incredible drummer
Travis gives it his 100% all the time
Travis the worker. Best!
The Mark, Tom and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back!) 2000.
Fucking Travis never phones in a performance. He’s 100% all the time. Amazing.
Travis` mom`s words never stopped.
They need NOTHING MORE...him on drums...wow!!! We ALL SING ALONG
Why’s there just a massive group of people sitting on the stage?
guys he actually plays it in a way that's way easier than original where the hi-hat and ride was double tempo througout the whole song. That requires some blast beat level right hand speed
super
Tom please come back.
Thats a huge cyst on Travis's back.
How does he not dislocate his shoulder?????
Awe, the video stopped too soon, i wanted to see the kid play
Get well soon trav.
Love me some Travis Barker😜
Travis reminds me of how my mom's beat me when I late coming home ...
I love how Mark doesn't even have to sing lol
He is. The band doesn’t hear it. How? Professional musicians.
That's not how many people are in the band the other people are Matt and travis
Travis is a machine
Travis is a beast
Miss the old blink ..
Airplane hanger? Sweet ass venue!
Travis's windmill drum strokes are what legends are made of.
Guys where is the vip section??
Still doesn't beat seeing the descendents front row after seeing Travis barker play with strung out the day before that
I think it's safe to say that those arms are literally windmills.
never liked how he didn't play 8th notes on the hats and ride on this song.
