DISCOVER Ottawa Lake's HIDDEN GEM: Forest Camping BLISS

Hey Guys! This week, we travel to Upper Michigan for our retired vanlife adventure! We explore a beautiful forest lake campground near Iron River, MI. Located in the Ottawa National Forest, Ottawa Lake Recreation Area has it all. A gorgeous forest lake for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and scenic picnic grounds for day use. There is also a hiking trail and peaceful, paved campsites.

$18/night and reservation system at Lake Ottawa Recreation Area. They sure think highly of themselves.
$5 day use fee. Tourist rates. Even with a senior pass, it's over priced.
