The "Follow Me" mod is one I find quite useful, especially when it comes to baling time. For example, when making Silage Bales. You just need to make sure you reduce the speed of the tractors enough for the wrapper not to stay behind, and to give it time to complete the bale-wrapping between bales. It can also be used to drive next to Silage Cutters or whatever else you want to drive next to or behind of. Offsets can be set to basically anywhere in relation to the vehicle that you follow in-'front'. And of course Auto-drive... Especially in the late game where you have to get multiple vehicles across the map. Having Auto Drive taking care of moving multiple vehicles and deliveries across the map is a huge help! In My case I use AutoDrive for most of the on-the-road stuff like deliveries; and CoursePlay for field work. With AutoDrive you setup an entire 'road' network with destinations. Because the AutoDrive road network forms one continuous system, vehicles can easily be sent from anywhere on the map to anywhere else on the map, provided that the destinations are set correctly and are all connected to the network; without having to select a new course every time, as you have to do with CoursePlay; whereas CoursePlay is the undisputed (and probably only feasible) king when it comes to setting up field related work! AND DON'T FORGET THE SEASONS MOD!!! ;-)
A few mods I find extremely useful: "Info Display", "ShopSearch", "Workshop Tabber", and lastly an object, "Broom" for cleaning up spilled animal food.
I've just now discovered the world of Farming Simulator, and have pre-ordered FS22. I've also subscribed to your channel, as it looks like the best out there. Thank you for this video. I'm really hoping the mods you mention will be available in FS22. I'll be diligently watching for your comments / videos as to if and when they get converted for use in FS22.
Thanks For the support Thorsten, I very much think all of there will make it to FS22 at some point, but yes I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they are 👍
Park vehicle is a massive one for me, simply choose which vehicles you don't want to tab through. also great for leaving forklift or telehandlers at the dealer.
Alongside Courseplay i would also like to mention autodrive. They work very well in tandem, courseplay for fieldwork and autodrive for off-the-field work like refilling, selling etc. When working them big fields, you likely have up to 1M of some crop in your silo. Autodrive really helps with selling that, just send 3-4 trucks on their way and they will drive back and forth until your silo is empty. You can also let them work in tandem, where courseplay works the field and then automatically hands it over to autodrive to drive to a fillup point and return to the field where autodrive hands it back to courseplay to continue working the field.
Yeah I have Autodrive in my Mod Folder, but still haven't had the chance to sit down and go through it and get it set up. thanks for the info very helpful!
Autodrive creator and courseplay creators got together officially and they both now are able to function the capabilities of each other. Ie have auto drive go somewhere as it would and then start the courseplay course you have waiting to go.
That's amazing! I've been using courseplay to make runs for selling but recording loads of them is very time consuming. Sounds like auto drive does a much better job of the out of field jobs. Thanks for the info!
Wife and I both have arthritis (yeah, *that* old ;) Without AutoDrive it would be nowhere as much fun, nor would I be able to play as long. We farm (have just started looking at CP) but when it comes time to sell, the trucks are all on Autodrive (which makes for some interesting scenarios depending on the person that made the original route - which can be changed btw). Try it, especially on large maps like Wild Wild West, you will find its probably right behind CP :)
I use all the ones you mentioned accept courseplay. I also use Follow Me, Vehicle Inspector, and Real Clock mod. Also Realistic Steering. But that one only works when using a keyboard, not a steering wheel.
I don’t even play Farming Simulator but I found this video quite interesting and well produced, so much that I watched until the end and now am interested in buying the game.
There's a Field Service Trailer (GtX) which does field servicing, been around since the very early days of FS19, has the vehicle servicing option (open the door to activate), also has a fuel tank which you need to pre-fill to use (turn on the pump to activate). And the latest update adds electric charging station! Other great mods: - Workshop tabber (don't leave home without it!) - Harvester stop (I run this one because when I'm streaming I might not notice the fill level of the harvester - when full the harvester stops and extends the pipe - so no more destroyed crops).
My number one is Autodrive followed by course play. With them two I can farm a entire map solo with no issues. The more I use auto drive the more it replaces courseplay. Awesome mod
Straight line a to b's and simple loop courses were easy for me. the "network" eluded me till it just clicked. i think i watched nearly every video i could find. I got hours worth of creating and deleting.
My personal number one is easy dev controls (for roleplaying purposes that I'll go into below), but other equally important mods that have vastly changed my gameplay include courseplay, realistic seeder, realistic seed usage, fruits adjustment, guidance steering, enhanced vehicle (mostly for the handbrake and shuttle control until there's a working version of the gearbox addon from FS 17), seasons, precision farming, precision farming addon, unlimited fruit types so I am able to run maize plus as well as seasons, and I can't recall the mod name now (and am too lazy to check on my PC) but it's basically a placeable workshop trigger with no building and no collision that I can place pretty much anywhere. It allows me to convert shops and buildings that don't have this trigger into ones that do by placing it inside of those buildings. Or I can place one outside of a building that has a workshop for equipment that is too big for it (mostly for large air seeders and headers). I also have a toolbox that acts as a mobile workshop. I have a few service trucks that don't have a built in workshop and rather than having to spend the time to learn how to add that in in a mod editor I can simply throw this toolbox on the back and strap it on and it's now a service truck that I can run out to the field and use on my equipment. Regarding how I roleplay with easy dev controls, I have a few large operations on a 16x map (one JD, one Case, one NH, and one AGCO/miscellaneous) as well as some roleplaying "farms" that are set up in their own multiplayer farms (though I only play on by myself). The other "farms" include a bank, a dealership, a farm supply/agronomist that will now also do field scanning for me (sometimes I'll do it myself under that "farm" or pay to use the automatic scan in the precision farming addon), and a trucking company/custom farming outfit. Using easy dev controls I can take loans from the bank and pay them back at slightly random interest rates as well as use the bank to own land to rent out, auction off at higher or lower rates than base values, and set up custom farming contracts. I can properly lease-to-own equipment from the dealership, do freebie field demo's, or buy used equipment from them. I can get supplies on credit that I can pay at the end of each season from the farm supply (just like IRL, call them up, get your supplies, then get a bill in the mail a few weeks later). I will hire out the trucking company to haul grain for me, move some equipment, or hire the custom operation to work some land if I'm falling behind because of weather. Specifically with the custom farming and trucking operation I like to roleplay as them to start and then use that as my basis to jump into farming my own land. I'll take contracts (at a much lower more realistic pay rate) and grow the custom operation from a small operation that specializes in one or two areas to one that has the newest and best equipment and can do anything and everything. With the trucking side of the custom operation I'll haul equipment to the dealership from "off map", haul equipment to/from the farms, haul grain for the farms, haul supplies to the farms, haul livestock, haul logs, haul woodchips, and haul any other cargo's that are available on the map in dryvan and reefer trailers such as processed meat, canned goods, wood products, etc. Once I've broken off into the farms I can either roleplay that they're separate farms/people that I roleplay as or that I'm managing them for someone else as some sort of consultant and basically run the day to day on them. Using the dev controls makes all of these things possible and simple. It also allows me to roleplay pretty much anything I want. I've even started doing a random number roll whenever I do maintenance on equipment that's either been sitting and not used for a long time or that's been getting used heavily to determine if maybe there's a large expense that I have to pay to get the equipment back into working order. Maybe then it's not worth it to repair it and better off to buy a new or used piece of equipment from the dealership and either let the broken piece of equipment sit and rot away at the edge of a field/yard somewhere like what happens a lot in real life or to get that equipment hauled away for scrap. The ease with which easy dev controls allows me to adjust vehicle maintenance, vehicle hours, field states, and finances means I can do all this "hardcore" roleplaying that I really enjoy. I've never been able to do it to quite this extent before and that is probably what makes it the single most immersive mod I've ever used, though all the other mods I've mentioned are just as important for the extra gameplay they bring to the game. Another important tool that isn't a mod is excel to keep track of all of this madness!
nice video and awesome mods, I'll use the Vehicle Speed Sync today, tks! I don't want to use CoursePlay yet, I want to play my game, not everything automated, but I see the importance at big fields
You won't need this tip now but another way to "sync" your speed to a combine without too much issue is set your cruise control to the combine speed and roll along with it and then you can hold 3 key (or whatever your cruise control set is) and it will set to max speed. Whenever you hit the brakes your cruise control will still be set to the slower speed and you can just press 3 again to run with the combine or hold it again to get to max speed... only took me like 300 hrs of fs19 experience to figure out that was a thing lol really wish I learned that sooner
So is that like a second cruise control speed or just increasing / decreasing your cruise control manually? The annoying thing is getting it exactly to 6. Or with a damaged header / contract leases combine they're often slightly slower and 6 mph so you constantly have to drop to 5 then back to 6.
@@samelbamel3500when you hold it it's like there is a second cc for max speed. as for matching combine speed I have never had any issue I only use my owned 9240s and keep my headers in decent shape and then drop cc all the way to 0 and bring it up to 6 (usually if I press my raise cc speed key I get 6mph twice, the lower one matches my combine perfectly)
When you select speed with 1 or 2 there are 1/2 speeds you just have to pause a second before increase or decreasing. So set to 6 the wait sec and either increase or decrease to match

Yes both good mods, I did say these were 7 mods that I use, I don't tend to use Follow me now I have store deliveries and I use global companies which has a built in horse helper too.
Hi there. Why it's the reason why not have the beginning buildings on county line map v3.0...i have tried all carrer mods.... New farmer etc... I don't have the buildings on my farm.... You can tell me why?
I just want to say thank you for acknowledging that and taking the time to watch the video, the number of comments I get saying "is this for iOS?" or "Why doesn't this work on my iPad?" is crazy, so I appreciate you sir! Thanks 👍
How safe is to download a mod like these in your PC? I mean, did my PC will have a notification about a virus that is in my computer when I download any of these mods? Can I trust your opinion?
Thousands of people download these mods on a daily basis, there are certain sites that are trustworthy where you should have no issues, and there are other sites that might be more risky, I would say do your research and make sure you know what you are downloading before you do. The links i have shared are from sites I have used on numerous occasions with no issues. but ultimately I can't decide for you, it is your decision in the end.
idk about courseplay, i play also factory automation games and courseplay bots to me feel dumb and limiting - not impressed :p when I feel like I want to automate and unload tasks to bots, I just take a break from FS19 and maybe come back to it later when I actually enjoy doing job myself.
Fair enough, each to there own, but on big maps there's definitely benefit to automating some tasks, I just see it as working on a farm with other workers. so if I'm driving a combine I can automate a tractor and trailer. and if I get bored I just swap over and stick the worker in the combine and I go hauling.
I use most of these all the time as well. I like using EZ Dev tools because I hate having to start seasons with no planted crops every single time... Three kinds of mods are the reason i bought my PC
Can you make a video explaining how to use the Simple IC script and keep it working? I keep having difficulty with it. I can message you on Discord to better explain if need be.
Only watched the first 3:30. I know you don't want to provide a tutorial, which is fair enough, but a bit more information on what each of the mods does would be useful. Otherwise it become a bit like a list.
I think you mean dash panel and that doesn’t work with Farming Simulator and Sim Dashboard only works with some racing games on console www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/help/en/For_PS4_and_XBox_One_Gamers/Game_Configuration/index
My best hack so far is: - Use a CR 10.90 revelation combine. - Hook it to a trailed lifter. - Hook a ball hitch adapter in the trailed lifter. - Hook your favorite baler on that ball hitch. Gasp in horror as your combine automatically harvest the crops AND creates straw bales behind it. 1. The revelation is surely strong enough to haul a baler behind it. Realistic? No. Practical? Hellll yes. 2. Change the baler with a LARGE grain auger. Now you have a 70k + 14k liter combine. If you extend the boom, curl the whole thing into a ball and reverse, you can dump the harvester into the auger without disconnecting anything. 3. Why nobody thought of a combine with a boom directed to the rear spitting crops at a trailer is beyond me. 4. Same for the baler. Make the combine a bit longer and make it spit bales at the back.
GPS should be included in the base game. Seasons and precision farm as options.
I agree, it's such a standard piece of equipment now in so many big machines
Yes
The "Follow Me" mod is one I find quite useful, especially when it comes to baling time. For example, when making Silage Bales. Course play is definitely no.1 I haven’t used an in game worker since
Yeah agree, it extends possibilities and playing big maps is a lot easier. It can be very powerful.
I agree, the satisfaction when you set up a massive field all automated is nice and the save function of courses is so nice.
If you like CoursePlay, you'll love AutoDrive. I no longer use CoursePlay to drive to and from the fields or to the stores.

Hi mate, how did you get sim dashboard on a Kindle?
Here you go 👍www.google.com/amp/s/www.howtogeek.com/232726/how-to-install-the-google-play-store-on-your-amazon-fire-tablet/amp/
@@TheFarmSimGuy Thank you!
I downloaded and copied the zip file of easy development command mod to mods folder but when I click F11 the dialog is not showing how to fix it?
I take it you activated the mod before you loaded the game?
@@TheFarmSimGuy What?
@@Karthik-le1bw have you ticked the mod, when you load in a game?
@@TheFarmSimGuy it's not showing in mod list
Guess whose overloader course wanted to not unload the combine. I watched Kedrek farms tutorial and it still never worked:/
What map is that man? Great video btw
County Line 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy my man!
Do you need a tablet for the sim dashboard? Or can I use my android phone?
Hi, your android phone will work just the same as a tablet 👍
Nice video, thank you. Which map is this?
Got it ... County Line
what about the horse helper mod and the follow me mod.
I'm sorry I don't know, they work for me, do you have the most up to date version of them map?
@@TheFarmSimGuy can you give me the link to the latest version of map bro?
Hi I have sim dachbord but can not see rpm or fuel consumption what do you think it depends on??
Could be many things, best thing to do is check the help section on the Sim Dashboard website (link in description)
Yeag, it' very hard to sync speed to 10 or 12 km/hr ... :-/
Does the Sim Dashboard work in multiplayer?????
It sure does!
@@TheFarmSimGuy and do you have to use a tablet or can you use it on a second screen?
@@bryanbendelow9733 It's designed for touch screens so won't work on a second screen unless you run it through an Android emulator
Seasons should’ve been number 1 without a question
i want sim dashbord but dont know how to set it up
Follow the help section on the sim Dashboard sit it’s very good 👍

@@TheFarmSimGuy thank you

Just hit F11 and you are good to go!
excellent fsg
Thanks mate 👍
Thank you
You are welcome
Sim Dashboard looks cool, but I'm an Apple user =D
I just want to say thank you for acknowledging that and taking the time to watch the video, the number of comments I get saying "is this for iOS?" or "Why doesn't this work on my iPad?" is crazy, so I appreciate you sir! Thanks 👍
I can't make "Delivery" work, it never worked for me, the "shift + alt + s or R keys never worked ... you know how I can fix this?
Sounds like a mod conflict or some keys are remapped from the standard ones
@@TheFarmSimGuy Mod conflict is not, I opened a new game, default map, and put only the Mod Delivery
@@RicardoFerrariBRKs That is strange, I'm not sure what is causing that
@@TheFarmSimGuy It's really weird, I already gave up ..
what map was that?
Late to the party here. But theres a lizard autoload trailer that autoloads logs for logging.
Are any of these available for consoles?
No they all use scripts so they aren't available on console
What map are you on
County Line 👍
Thanks for this video btw I've never been able to figure out the service trucks for the life of me
I've always got to have seasons!
Yeah that’s a definite
which map is this?
Why are these mods not available in the mod section in the actual game itself?
All except Courseplay and Sim Dashboard are 👍
A link for the map?
Love u way u didnt tell any u have to pay for Sim dashboard u have to pay for to get it looking like the one u showed?

And for those of us who don't know, course play is what exactly? You didn't include any information
ua-cam.com/video/FOSe8abrivU/v-deo.html
how do u spell the second mod?

Where do I find these mods?
Read the description
idk about courseplay, i play also factory automation games and courseplay bots to me feel dumb and limiting - not impressed :p
when I feel like I want to automate and unload tasks to bots, I just take a break from FS19 and maybe come back to it later when I actually enjoy doing job myself.
Fair enough, each to there own, but on big maps there's definitely benefit to automating some tasks, I just see it as working on a farm with other workers. so if I'm driving a combine I can automate a tractor and trailer. and if I get bored I just swap over and stick the worker in the combine and I go hauling.
Hi Guys, what is this map called? thanks.
Check some of the other comments it should give you the answer
I use most of these all the time as well. I like using EZ Dev tools because I hate having to start seasons with no planted crops every single time... Three kinds of mods are the reason i bought my PC
You didn't ever say what courseplay does
Can you make a video explaining how to use the Simple IC script and keep it working? I keep having difficulty with it. I can message you on Discord to better explain if need be.
Sure I can have a look, it's not a mod I've used a lot, but I do know that it has to be coded into the vehicle mod you are using
@@TheFarmSimGuy sweet. I'll add you on Discord the next time I get on JS Mapping's one, my name will be the same.
If the molders didn't put so much work in to their creations, fs 19 would be a lost cause before it even launched...
But that's Girants business model too, they've talked about that already
Why can’t it let me download coursplay
Dunno mate. The link is the right one I just checked it 👍
Only watched the first 3:30. I know you don't want to provide a tutorial, which is fair enough, but a bit more information on what each of the mods does would be useful. Otherwise it become a bit like a list.
There are tutorials on my channel for a lot of them 👍
hey! What's the map?
It's already been answered in the comments
wHAT MAP IS THAT
Sim dashboard works on console and ipad.
I think you mean dash panel and that doesn’t work with Farming Simulator and Sim Dashboard only works with some racing games on console www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/help/en/For_PS4_and_XBox_One_Gamers/Game_Configuration/index
My best hack so far is:
- Use a CR 10.90 revelation combine.
