Wow! This is my hometown, Born and bred! Missing it a lot as I moved away at 21 for a new job. This video makes me nostalgic and love the place that I’ve come from! Thank you! ☺️
Been looking for a video of Sheffield like this for ages! High quality and the drone shots simply make the video look better. I just felt horizontal transitions were overused at times, but great work!

@@sarribel Thank you! Be sure to check out the latest short film I released just days ago about 2020. It`s called Trapped, to be found on the channel under Short Films. Would love to know your thoughts :)
Stunning - so many more superlatives could be used. Many congratulations on such an innovative production, well worthy of such a vibrant and lively City enjoying yet another renaissance.
@@SvenVee Credit where credit is due Sven, I'm a professional photographer and drone pilot and most of my work is for my clients but seeing your video yesterday has rekindled my desire to get out there and take photos and drone video just for fun too - thanks!
A trip through Page Hall and Grimesthorpe along with some council estates might bring a touch of reality, along with Spital hill and Pitsmoor. The Wicker and Waingate might or even High street with the spice girls in operation, thank god for my Spanish T.I.E. and escape. The last thing I remember was someone taking a crap in a planter in front of John Lewis in Barkers Pool in broad daylight, Adios Amigos.
Your editing is so dopee but in few scenes it's a lil jam packed with super cool edits that it makes my head hurt and distracts from the story. But the other 90% of the film was super cool
Such personal judgement based on a video that's just meant to highlight where/how I see beauty. Highlighting beauty in one's work does not mean a lack of realism in real life. But by all means carry on judging online.
@@SvenVee I specifically mean the shot at 21 seconds with the title card over it. I need to get a similar shot of the city myself so just wondering if you found a good take-off and landing site?
@@SortOfFilms Ah That was from one of the big parks in the more "outer ring" area around sheffield. I'm not sure which one it was though. I was very new in town at the time and was still staying with someone else, so don't remember the name. I just recommend going there. It's safe and plenty of space.
How did you come to that conclusion that Sheffield is one of the greenest cities when the east end of Sheffield is heavily polluted with BIG cancer-causing concerns.
Thank you. I have been lucky enough to not see much of the 'lesser' sides of the city back when I lived there. I imagine just like any bigger city, Sheffield also has darker sides.
@@SvenVee there’s a charm to the ‘darker sides’, not as bad as they’re made out to be at all. Granted it sometimes smells strongly of weed on spital hill but best place for a haircut and to eat.

That was simply amazing, I live in Sheffield but I have never captured it quite like this, A huge like from me.

Great film, but a very ' S10' view of Sheffield, the nice side of town, the rest of it, by any stretch of the imagination, is no jewel.
