@Lakerfan no he couldn't of. Maybe if he repeatedly struck him on top of the head, but he hit him once. It could've been all avoided if rudolph didn't start it.
I seen alot of things in sports but i had never seen something like that in professional football that hit that mason Rudolph took was brutal he would had injuries in his head myles garrett got suspended without pay that was so disrespectful to myles garrett taking a swing at Rudolph head he would have bleed on his head i been watching football for almost 19 years and i never seen anything like that
No mams pobre del de steelers le dan un súper empujón y cuando se va a parar su propio compañero le da otro golpe con la pierna en la cabeza. Puff no fue su noche.
Totally Uncalled for. That's definitely the worst thing I've ever seen in any sports event. I'm not a Steelers fan or a browns fan and this just makes me feel sick. Not even a patriots player would do that
There's absolutely no room in football for this type of behavior! You guys entered and exited through the same parking lot, so take up your issues there! It saddens me to think that little kids idolize you players, (why, I haven't a clue) but it also saddens me to know you guys (not all) are just as immature as the kids are! ☹
@Chåmpiøn Really? What a FUCKING STUPID response! How stupid? Because you pointed out the obvious... Yes, it's "FOOTBALL", not a fight club! Let them join the MMA or UFC, if they want to fight! Since they aren't paid to fight, but paid MILLIONS to play football, any extracurricular activities need to be, OFF THE FIELD! Surely, even a man that plays "a man's sport" (as you call it) has more respect for themselves, their teammates, their coaches, and most importantly their fans, but not in this case.. or your's, if you condone this type of behavior! Sad individual!
Proper comparison would be if, in baseball a hitter gets hit by a pitch, then charges the mound with his bat and hits the pitcher over the head with it. A football helmet is a 4-pound club which, if it connects, can fracture a man's skull with no difficulty. The fact that Garrett's blow did not split Rudolph's skull was pure luck. Players understand this intimately, which is why you NEVER, EVER use your helmet as a club. This is as forbidden as bringing knives and guns to a game. Professional athletes have unwritten codes that nevertheless are sacred. No baseball player can even so much as raise his bat at another person, or throw a baseball at speed into the crowd. No football player can deliberately ram into an unprotected photographer or a coach or a cheerleader on the sidelines. Even crazed hockey players do not use their sticks in a fight. Players that break these rules are suspended entire seasons, and if they do it again, they can be banned from their sport. Myles Garrett lost his cool for a few moments, and it will cost him probably a full 16 games suspension. The taboo he violated is a basic, profound one. Football players consider themselves to be men of honor. Even the thought of such a dishonorable act should bring many of them to tears of shame.
So you agree Rudolph going to remove Garrett's helmet to begin with, was disgusting as well. And then subsequently charging an opposing player when that player is being held by your teammate is in itself cowardly. I agree with you.
