True that’s happened to me a couple times
or just exploding because you were too fast💀
I was first, a quarter of a lap away from the finish line and some mf pit maneuvered me sending me to 11th💀💀
differently from other racing games, going in the middle of the road in sharp turns can get you more speed and a better position than going by the fastest turn line, since you will gatter a lot more boost
This is fair; I should have articulated my point better by saying to pay attention to the fastest turn line as you approach the turn itself

Along with double drifting, you can drift one direction, build up the meter, and then swap directions without losing the meter just by pressing the drift button and the opposite direction. This can be repeated until the meter is full every time. It works especially well on winding tracks.

@@romanreigns5796on a straight line, you drift one way, then drift the other way. Then you get a huge boost, and your turbo.

Dont forget about slipstream! You get a significant boost in speed if trailing behind someone.

Bro I've been tryna figure out the timing for the start for a fair amount of time but I haven't been hitting it, I've been tryna mario kart it by going midway through the penultimate light lol
Also on one of the maps there's a waterfall you can jump through, and on that same map in the tunnel if you hop onto the top there's some speed pads and it's faster anyway
There's a ton of shortcuts as well just make sure to look for em

The timing is different every race, listen for the sound queues and time it like that vs using your eyes to watch for green light!!

TIP: the "drift" is like a drift you would see in rally when the cars are awd

I always though the skill leveling with others was broken but oh man as veteran of racing games is was an easy curve for me since drifting is something i can do with my close eyes but goddamn sfter a while i got players thst we always finish like 2seconds from other at once it was crazy but i always enjoy competition

Yeah, use the turbo whenever you get it so you can get more sooner. Don't wait.
I do triple boosting
First you need a turbo then drift as long as you can then exit the drift use the turbo press the button again when the prompt appears

Didn’t mention this but you can literally fly if you keep pressing the fly button it’s helped me avoid other cars
Silver 1 is so sweaty right now. 1st to 8th is by like 0.5 seconds
Right it's crazy you can be 1st and when you finish you're suddenly 6th
dude I was in silver 2 getting 3 second to 4 second gaps, or is that the same that you got.
Just depends who u are as a player what separates you from the rest ???
Its better to use the Slipstream of the backmarkers than drifting all over the place, its better
I just use the jump boost to skip parts of the track

Whenever I end a race I don’t advance ranks. I can’t earn more “rank points” even though I am winning races. Anyone know why?
Drifting early has gotten me to platinum 2 and still winning races I don't reccomend drifting late just drift early sometimes the earliest is best even before you reach the corner even just the slight amount then a sharp drift for the extra boost meter
Agreed the longer you stay in the drift the quicker the bar fills up

It seems to have picked up. I am diamon and can usually get a ranked game in a few minutes. And I'm in Oceania region!
I feel like you need to use the boost asap when you get it because you drift so much to get speed boats you want to use as many boosts as possible during the race
He said to save boosts si you shouldn't always use it you should save it
Don't ever get to 3 otherwise you might lose a couple extra boosts if you do. Always at least use your boost right before you get to 3

Here is a tip keep close to the railing as drifting so you get the lead and more boost charge

You can drift as much as you want as long as you don’t just turn into the wall like you did
