DUDE! I finally found a video on this subject! I have a Ryzen 3200 and was searching around for a GPU to get. Thank you for this!!! Subscribed! Cheers from Brazil!
I have a 3200G I went with for a super budget gaming rig ($368 for the tower), been using the integrated graphics for awhile, which are amazing for esports titles and light AAA gaming. Just bought my friends old Asus Strix GTX 970 for 70 bucks, should be a perfectly balanced pairing to the 3200G. Then down the road I'll upgrade to ryzen 4000 on my b450 mobo and drop in a new GPU also
In cs you need to type fps_max 900 in the console or you won't see more fps. I guarantee you will get higher than 200 fps with those cards with this cpu. If not I will eat my hat
Well, Ryzen 3 is working awesome for me. I have a 3200G paired with a RX 580 8GB solid 60 FPS high settings on most games. Pretty decent setup for a beginner.
I can only think of one scenario where an apu makes sense and that's really small form factor builds where a dedicated GPU isn't an option, but even then the 2400g makes more sense than the 3200g and they both cost $100.
@@ZachsTechTurf Considering that the 3200g seems to be bottlenecked by the RX 570, it would be interesting to see the 2200g with the RX 570 versus the 3200g with the RX 570. I plan on starting with an APU because it will provide the minimum number of points of failure in a new build. Then I will install a discrete graphics card, then upgrade to either a Ryzen 3600 or a Ryzen 3700X. I rally don't do much gaming, but I might use a 3D rendering app that can do GPU rendering. My current plan is to add either an RX 5600 or an RX 5600 XT to the APU before moving on to Zen 2. It would have been interesting to have seen the 3200g with an RX 5700 in addition to the RX 5700 XT in order to compare the 1% lows of these two cards to exclude the possibility that what we are seeing is a problem with the Navi architecture, possibly a driver issue. Another interesting comparison would be Ryzen 2200g with RX 570 vs Ryzen 3400g with integrated graphics.

Hey Zach. Great video! This was exactly what I was looking for. Just wanted your opinion on one more thing. Considering how much 1st Gen Ryzen prices have dropped, do you think something like a 1600g would be a better option to remove bottlenecking for higher end graphics cards? A 1600g is only about 20% more expensive than a 3200g where in my country (India). How would it (1600g) hold up to a RTX 2060 super or RX 5700? Should I shell out more for a 2600/3600 or would I just be better off with a 3200/3400 instead? Would love your opinion on this. Again, great stuff! Thanks for the hardwork!
There is a 1600g???? Do you mean Ryzen 5 1600? Then you mean you will remove the 3200g and add in a new cpu? Yeah, I think 1600 might hold up with the 2060 or 5700. But... If you are planning on 1080p, then i don't know. But you'll be fine with 1440p for sure.

I assume you already have both parts, if you have 8 gigs of ram, i would use the 1030(if it is the gddr5 version)if you have 16gb i think the vega 8 is actually a bit better
hi I am considering either a 3200g (w/o graphic card) or a 3600 (with asus r5 230 or zotac gt710). I don't intend to game with the setup. just gonna use it as a daily PC as well as a HTPC playing HD and UHD content. which one will be better please? thanks
Hello, I want to pair Ryzen 3200G with 1660 Super. Can I expect the same performance just like 1660Ti? Thank you
I’m new to pc building and am building my own 600 dollars pc. By lowest you would go with a gpu would a msi GeForce GTX 1650 be too low? Or is that ok
Wait so you had 3200mhz ram but amd's website says that the maximum is 2933mhz. So how did you run it on max speed?
any chance i can get those parts ? if not used anymore
Should I use 1660ti with rayzen 3 3200g for streaming..
What's the point of a secondary GPU?
I have a 3200G and I'm getting a GTX 1070 today
Does any one know any thing can go with the cpu that has that blue wire cord connecter
i have a b450 steel legend and corsair vengeance pro rgb 3200mhz but if i enable xmp in the bios it doesnt do anything
Would 3200 run better with the Sapphire Radeon RX 580 4GB GDDR5 Nitro+ than the RX570 on the video?
Which is more appropriate?
Ryzen 3 3200g with GTX 1650 Super or
Ryzen 3 3200g with GTX 1660 Ti / GTX 1660 Super? Thanks
3200g is not recommended anymore.....get 3100
Hi. I decided to add gpu to my 3200g. Im buying rx570. Do I have to uninstall the driver for vega 8 graphic card or it will automatically disabled?
What about the RX 580 of 8GB?
Does it bottleneck an xfx rx 580 oc ??
Nice video!
nope
Why not go for the 3400g for more threads
can it all run with a 500watts Psu
What about the rx580with 3200g?
I have a aero geforce gtx 1060, 6gb of ddr5 would you recommend using that with this CPU?
it would work, but you would be better of with a 2600 for 20 bucks more or a 1600.
bloopers are supposed to be accidental..... that shit was cringe lol
I've just ordered not long ago the 3700x with 5700 xt. I shouldn't experience too much bottlenecking should I?
That is quite balanced system there should be no bottleneck
What about ryzen 5 2200g and 5700xt ?
Would work but the ryzen 3 2200g would be the bottleneck of your system
That would cause even more of a bottleneck because the 3200G > 2200G
How about the 3400G? Can it handle RX 5700XT?
it could, buit I would heavily recommend against it and just buy a 9400f or 2600 for the same price/cheaper, since the 3400g doesnt have teh good single core of the other zen2 processors since its still 12nm.
@@kennedymoreiras3054 But those 2 doesn't have iGP, and my plan is to use iGP for a while until i have the money to get a GPU, planning to get an rx 5700.
noName yet you really shouldn’t, just save up for the 5700. Getting some time with integrated graphics that performs on gt 1030 levels before bottlenecking your gpu isn’t good.
@@kennedymoreiras3054 Well i've already saving up for 6 months, i know that 2600 is better but i want to be able to play games right now, i wouldn't mind to play at low setting with the iGP rather than waiting for another 6 months with nothing to play with. Beside there are alot of easy to run e-sport games that can run well over 60fps with the iGP like CSGO, Dota2, Overwatch, rocket league and many more. There's other option to get the cheaper r5 2400g for about $105 but Im still not sure.
0:24. A side of Zach we have never seen. Frustration lol. He is human like the rest of us!
Considering buying 1660ti with my 3200g. Will it be ok with 450w psu?
500w
hello, i have a ryzen 3 3200g with a 1650 super, and i want to put this rtx 2070, so far i haven´t see anybody doing this, i just wanted to get an advice or if this is a bad idea. Any other suggestions for any other gpu for an upgrade ?
What is the best new futureproof graphics Card for this CPU?
I currently have R3 3200G in My PC, I am looking to add a dedicated GPU in it. I will play mostly AAA titles. Please suggest a good option.
1660 Super
What happens to onboard graphics after installing the dedicated graphics card.
It go bye bye
I have ryzen 3200g
Can I get gtx 1660
Doesn't give me bottleneck ?
Would you recommend this CPU instead of the i3 9100F?
A thousand times. For the price it has better speeds than some core I5
Does it come with it's own graphics card or will I need to buy one
what the 3200g?, The 3200g is a Apu which is different than a normal cpu, A Apu has built in graphics while a regular cpu does not (i may be wrong i am kinda new two this whole pc building scene)
