Members of the Duke Community enjoyed an evening of stand-up comedy about economics and politics with Yoram Bauman, environmental economist, founder of Carbon Washington - which in 2016 placed the first-ever carbon tax measure on the ballot in the United States - and "the world's first and only stand-up economist."
The Mar. 6 event, part of the Allen Starling Johnson, Jr. Distinguished Lecturer Series, was co-sponsored by Duke Economics, the UPEP Environmental Institutions Seminar, and the Economics Student Union.
