This reminds me when Lindsay Stirling constantly got rejected on agt and is now one of the most famous violin players because her unique way of playing by using ballet, and I remember her telling a little girl to never give up on her dreams or let people tell you that you won't make it😁

I’m not surprised that his appearance on AGT was on the cutting room floor, because Sophia and Simon were either embarrassed, mad, jealous or all of the above, because the audience members applauded him for clapping back at the judges in public.

Your producer story reminds me of another artist, Anastasia on MTV's "The Cut", a show like The Voice but had rotating judges. She was over their age limit but had a connection who got her in without her asking(she was a dancer on Club MTV). She's now considered to be the best selling American artist in Europe without hitting big in the states(what everyone else calls a one hit wonder).

Thanks for your words and you're so great and so humble at the same time, I really admire those artists, and your outfit, make up and general style fits perfectly to your artist being, as well as your name, they just don't know nothing about it!! I had a similar experience on the German edition of AGT, but they neither didn't support that much my way of doing music and singing, nor my way of dancing, but it felt directly pretty pre-written when I went on the stage, and also had to go through some nonsense questions before but not as hard as like yours but it felt pretty weird too, so I started a bit to joke on that and not giving too serious answers. The crowd showed me since the beginning and wanted to still showing me love but then the production stopped them while I was performing and turned them kinda like being against me or just laughing a bit about me but the judges said to me that I've never blame myself while performing, but the level on that point was already too high to pass to the next round, so I still took this as something positive. In the end, I've never been on air, they just cut it off, maybe it was better for me too, it's almost already 7 years ago.

Thank you for this video. I tried for American idol back in 2008 and was crushed when I didn't get picked. Seeing you went through the same thing makes me feel better knowing it didn't mean I couldn't sing
I had a co-worker, who when he found out that I auditioned for The Voice, and didn’t get passed the first round of open call audition, he said that I can’t sing. He’s such a (for a lack of a better word) F***ing ***hole fir saying that to me, because I currently have 156 subscribers on my channel, and Maisie’s Musical Duets had to if my videos featured on her channel under “The Viewer Collaboration” playlist. I know that this is not AGT, The Voice and American Idol, but Inside Edition featured one of my You Tube videos on their show, last year, because I sang God Bless America on the day of The Insurrection.

I doubt you will see this comment BUT I just wanted to tell you that you are a beautiful person with a gift that so few receive. Male vocalists with your caliber of power and range are extremely rare. You and Mitch Grassi are the two best male singers I've ever heard. Not sure if you know who Mitch is, but he's part of a Acapella group. They won season 3 of The Singoff, they won a Sony recording contract in 2011 BUT Sony dropped them a week later. So they never gave up, they went to UA-cam and made videos and eventually got signed. Now they have 3 grammy's. Don't ever give up.
You might not read my comment, but I went thru the same thing almost 3yrs ago in the Latino version of The Voice 🙃 I was top 10 from my island and made it to the top 75 of the show ... I seemed to be apparently between the favorites of the show and literally got eliminated the afternoon before my audition, so I went thru everything but never made it to the show 🙃 I was given a "golden pass" for the next season, but due to covid the show wasn't renewed, so there went my chances with the covid 💔

It would be crazy to make it to the live rounds but honestly, meeting Terry Cruz alone would be worth it because he has always seemed so sweet and genuine. So firstly, I second the motion on all the positive vibed comments that came before me(& after)-because they're all on point. You are SO MUCH MORE than any of these shows could ever make you. You do you babe, and you do it fucking fabulously! So I'm glad that this experience didn't jade you but rather made you even stronger. I will never NOT get excited to hear what new twists you give us on the songs you choose to cover. If I may-the vast majority of what you cover is BEYOND BETTER than the original versions, which is further proof that you have the heart n soul for greatness & I truely think it's only time before you take the world by the bwalls & blow them all away w/your talent!

They are also super stringent and controlling contracts. Which…is something goes tats up, they can essentially put you on ice for however many years the remainder of the contracts extends. Not eve putting out your own music on UA-cam or what have you.
Personally, I’ve never seen the show and think most people would have a better time doing their own path through social media etc…more eyes and such. The antiquated machine isn’t necessary nor where the demographics who purchase music/engage/purchase live tickets, are anymore.

*EDIT* : to add, look at amazing artists like Kim Dracula and how well they’re doing and how far they’ve come. Just by the sheet power of support from their social media subs. They’re on tour now in the states with FIR, dropping an album, and have revenue coming in from many avenues like their platforms which can help Indy artists❤️

I still think you should try the Voice ,your voice is absolutely phenomenal, your vocal range is it's just crazy crazy insane , you have a gift so many wish they had , me included I at one time had a good voice no where near your but it was good but I ruined destroyed it, smoking since I was 8 ,drugs and just not really caring once drugs were in the picture, but I've been clean since 2013 , but I regret that part of my life because it held me back from alot of things but anyways i sdore you and your voice , the world needs to experience what we have here on your channel and social media pages, it's just sends you to a different place, and sometimes it hits you in the feels just when you need it 🖤

Please try one more time but for The Voice, especially if they bring back Ariana she would absolutely adore you! I personally think the voice is a better atmosphere for you if you choose to go that route on another singing competition. I think you would get more exposure and have a lot more fun especially getting to work hands on with one of the judges.
