      He is definitely on the side of the kids. He will come down hard on bad/lazy CPS workers (probably harder since they should be held to a super high standard as protectors of children) just like he does with bad parents. I love both Stuckey and Lockwood for that reason. They are fair in their rulings, even the rare times I don't agree with them.

      That is not what mom's attorney was trying to do. Her attorney was using the CPS woman's own words against her. Everything that she put on the service agreement for mom to complete, mom is already doing. As a survivor of DV, it sounds to me like this mother is being disciplined for being a victim of the father's. CPS should not be doing this to the mother and instead should have offered her help with her situation instead of taking her kids from her. CPS almost pulled this same exact BS with me during my situation being married to an evil person who was going to kill me if I left him and he attempted to do so when I did leave him.

      This mom had her emergency hearing a while back and it was on zoom. She was having a mental health crisis, dropped her kids off at the police station, and was attempting to leave to take her own life. They took her to a mental hospital (with the kids) and because they couldn't stay at the hospital and she said she had no one to call, they put the kids into care. She said she thought it would only be for the 3 day hold and ever since then she's been fighting this cps. I'm not sure how to find it but I wanted to share her back story because it was a sad hearing to watch.

    So the father needs counseling on how to be a father that the child is not afraid of. The mother needs counseling to stop having abusive relationships and letting the children see that. Mom says she has everything to have the kids come home, but oh by the way, can you provide daycare?? If you have children and you can't provide for them without me paying for them, that should be neglect. You can't even adopt a dog without being able to provide food. She should have been working 3 jobs while the kids were in foster care to save up money. Plus, don't release her mental health records so they can't be used against her. That makes me feel good about her taking care of the kids.

    This is exactly why you NEVER allow CPS to get involved without an attorney FIRST. They will find something. I’ve seen families torn apart and children left with lifelong PTSD from an unjustified removal. Amazing family had an argument with in-laws, CPS called as “revenge”, children removed. After 2 months, case was closed, children returned and a letter mailed that there were no findings.

    • @TheUluxian
      @TheUluxian Рік тому +12

      On the flip side of that coin, though, how many times have children been abused/tortured/even murdered because CPS didn't get involved? Were told by an "amazing family " that "everything was fine" only for the kids to end up dead.
      You're right that it's always a good idea to have an attorney involved. Totally agree with you there, but would rather have CPS act out in an abundance of caution for the CHILDREN. I sincerely doubt 2 months of some trauma is really the equivalent of a dead child...

    • @TexasbyStorm
      @TexasbyStorm Рік тому +8

      @@TheUluxian on the flip side how many times have children been abused, physically, mentally and sexually by foster parents, or older foster siblings? How many of those resulted in lifelong trauma and even death? Most times children are better off, even in homes with drugs or other issues. Most issues that gets CPS involved comes because of monetary issues. Many women are with, or stay in, an abusive relationship because they cannot afford to pay for housing on their own. Yet there are little to no resources for mothers in situations like this. The state will pay $1000s a month to foster parents to keep children from their mothers, who would love to get away from the abuse, but CPS won't pay to help a mother start a new life, help her get an education, help her with resources that allows her children to be with her. Children are almost always safer and less traumatized staying with their parent than being taken into foster care. The foster care system is big money for several departments, paid for by taxpayers. It's as lucrative as the privatized prison system. Anytime there is potential for profit, there is potential for abuse of the system. More needs to be done to prevent the need to tear apart families in the first place. Breaking apart families shouldn't be the first line of defense.

    • @TinFoilCat90
      @TinFoilCat90 Рік тому +5

      Do you realize how much damage is done to children who witness violence and screaming constantly. I can tell you that it causes extreme anxieties, ocd coping behaviors, proclivity to violent relationships themselves as adults. There comes a point when the mothers repeated choices in men becomes an issue for the children. If she cannot make sage healthy choices for her children then someone else has to.

    • @smartypants8533

      FACTS! And this mom asked for help at a police station from what I gather because she was experiencing an extreme mental health crisis and asked for help with her children. She had no family close that she knew of so CPS showed up and They agreed to take the kids for 3 days so she could seek mental health treatment on an emergency basis. And now she has been treated and released and they refuse to give her kids back as promised. Which they do a lot. They will tell you ANYTHING to get you to agree and sign something. Anything. And then they flip it around on you. Never trust them. Say nothing. Get a lawyer

      Yes! I have seen CPS be the problem more than the solution many many times!
      Sadly CPS is more about state and federal funding than it is the safety and protection of children.
      It is also VERY alarming that so many in the comments just buy whatever story CPS and the lawyers state is a fact and the only parents who end up in a CPS hearing is a bad abusive parent because CPS wouldn't take the kids if there wasn't a good reason. It just can not be THAT easy to get a court order to remove someone's children. But it is that easy! They just haven't had it happen to them or anyone that They know. Yet.
      But these people aren't ready for that. Or the part that these people have absolutely lied in court hearings to keep kids that were only in danger after being removed in the name of funding.

I can tell you that even if the children aren't being hit, living in a constant war zone of screaming and fighting is horrible for their mental well being. It will cause anxiety and sometimes ocd behaviors along with likelihood to mimic those relationships themselves.

While CPS looks like they are overreaching, these services and this time for change are hard to come by as a single working mom. They will be invaluable for her mental health and her children’s future. I wish her continued success. She will get them back and be much better for herself and for them in the long term. Veterans in politics posts them out of order and makes it really hard to follow- but there several people that have reposted playlists that make it easy to find them once you find a case you want to follow. For example- you can search Tiffany Wagner Clark county family court and should be able to find her play list in order. 😊

    The information from CPS will be and can be shared with the Attorneys in this case. The Mom's attorney is a joke. The information is all in that parent plans. It is the mother's responsibility to turn in all the proof of her being in these classes, and not CPS's responsibility. CPS does not need to help the mom fill out a TPO. That is your job their Attorney.
    she works at a convenance store. Needs to look at how much she is making per month. Do you have health insurance. Mom needs to keep her treatment schedule and should be showing improvements and completions for the next 6 months.
    More then 12 hours is enough for her to do something in an attempt to falsify these drug test. Redacted to hide everything found. Yes she's doing well in school, due to be pulled out of the horrible environment she was in. So she is now doing well.
