Please do this for all the maps. Even level 10 players don't know a lot of the default setups and responsibilities. We NEED people to finally learn these things.
I'll have people agree to play spawns on 18k premier for a few rounds and then they just randomly seem to forget it and start doing some random shit. Like yeah no shit you died trying to go fight long because you had the 2nd worst spawn for it.. People just get too stuck on doing only one role/location for one map and completely ignore the importance of spawn locations sometimes
But what if all my team mates want other position and we just bump around like a pinball machine in spawn and lose all timings? Honestly great vid man these help enforce my ideas for teaching my friends and what we should do.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Feels like every CS video is either about nade lineups that are detached from actual gameplay or how to play with a 5--man team (seriously, what's the number of people playing in a team vs. solo-queuing faceit? Those videos serve nearly no-one).
I really like this format - would love to see similar videos for Inferno, Anubis, and Ancient. A 10-minute breakdown of the basics would be super helpful in general, but especially for getting my pals (who play way less often than I do) up to speed on basic strats and positioning for our weekly gaming sessions.
I currently play at FaceIt lvl 8 and what you summarized here is literally 1 to 1 how we play CT side on Dust2, glad to have this confirmation. very good video and straight to the point! would love to see similar formatted videos about different maps.
Really enjoyed this video🔥 It was especially good for me because I’m not that great at CS tactics. Would love for this to become a series with the other maps too🙏🏼
CS 2 has brought me back from my 1.6 days. This video is great because it helps me understand the what to do and the why. Even the little stuff like seeing the 2nd long A player stay wide and swing gives me an idea of how to prepare (turn my back), position myself and follow up.
as someone that started playing with my friends last year, this type of videos help me to not get too lost during our matches More of these will certainly be welcomed, this is great!
1000% would love to see more guides in this style. Prob a little novice for many of your viewers, but for an idiot like me it's pretty ideal. Cheers, keep having fun!
Idealy the third long player isn't needed to swing long after the flashes so that player should be able to move towards mid doors or short to help holding that part of the map. Mid and B player just needs to buy time and get info. Eventually after full long control, the second long player will also be able to help hold short. Because A long is the most difficult to hold against rushes. And mid is the most difficult against slow rounds.
Please do more! Most people struggle more CT side I feel like as they get the spawn positions and economy wrong - this would be great as a series (maybe chuck in some T side in there too).
Hey Flom, I’d really like a video if possible over the new vertigo and how to set up for it. My team and I have good setups but due to the new update on it it feels like we’re losing rounds we should be easily winning and we’re just not in the right spots for bomb plant and for rotates from mid. Thanks my man
pls do a series of that type of video. very helpful for guys like me who are not so invested in the game. I knew some things before but learned some a well :) Thank you!
bro i literally rewinded your stream the other day to see how you play ct side dust, my trio suck at ct side, this video couldn't have come out at a better time lmao
I often suggest to my team to play spawns on CT side and most of the time people agree but they only seem to remember it for a few rounds and then everyone just starts freestyling some random shit. Like no guys playing the spawns is pretty damn important to play CT side on dust unless your opponents just dont know what to do and take forever to attack on T side.
It’s borderline impossible with randoms, even if you’re incredibly lucky and they DO know their responsibilities based on their spawn, they’ll assume nobody else does and you’ll each just feel out your role that you’ll be playing every round regardless of spawn for the rest of the match
DUDE PLEASE ALL MAPS AND SIDES THESE VIDEOS ARE SO HELPFUL you explain things simply and concisely with a touch of humor, exactly how these things should be presented, thank you... fuck fl0m
My past week of comp games I’ve been top fragging with 25+ kills but my team hasn’t been doing shit for me it’s sad I had a guy go 6-22 and two others that were like 9-22 I was 28-16 but I was playing ancient on gn4 match making is tragic
Its funny how fl0m is basically just explaining the default CT setup for this iconic 20 year old map yet so many people even near 20k premier are completely or slightly clueless about what defaulting means in dust
Please do more. There's something to listening to your voice when you speak of the game that makes me listen because I feel like I could miss some important information. Almost like you knew what you were speaking about.
the amount of high elo players who cannot follow basic protocol like this is staggering, so please do this for all the maps, so that i can then send it to them 😂
Do for all maps both sides doesnt need to be complex the player base on this game is atrociously cringe its like they just run around cluessly clinking thier mice.
let me know which other maps you have useless teammates on and want me to walk through
All of them
Ancient and/or Anubis
Nuuuuke
I am the useless teammate.
all
Please do this for all the maps. Even level 10 players don't know a lot of the default setups and responsibilities. We NEED people to finally learn these things.
Yes please do these for all maps!! You are my hero
If you're taking this game this serious you need to go touch grass
Level 10 here who knows most defaults but choose to ignore them because thats boring gameplay imo
3:17 goated editor, glad you left that in
Peak fl0m tbh. If it's not there, it's not real.
But what if all my team mates want other position and we just bump around like a pinball machine in spawn and lose all timings?

NiKo watching this video and having an identity crisis:
All maps both sides would be very neat

absolutely loved this!! please do both sides on all maps that being said i suck ass at vertigo and ancient so id love to see those.
Really enjoyed this video🔥 It was especially good for me because I’m not that great at CS tactics. Would love for this to become a series with the other maps too🙏🏼
Great video, simple ideas that are quick to learn. Please do this for more maps! I always like your informative content

great video! I really liked the examples from your actual games
Sick video bro. I need the basics! Would love to have this for other maps
as someone that started playing with my friends last year, this type of videos help me to not get too lost during our matches
More of these will certainly be welcomed, this is great!
Definitely need more videos like this! I’ve been trying to pickup this info but just watching a stream isn’t enough detail for me
very informational and easy to understand video. please do this for the other maps!! :)
Make this a series, with all maps and both sides :D
More of this series! wtb for all the de_'s. Also make this a dang actual steam guide so we can link it in our profiles lol.
Loved this type of vids man
Great video! More videos like this please 🙏🏽
1000% would love to see more guides in this style. Prob a little novice for many of your viewers, but for an idiot like me it's pretty ideal. Cheers, keep having fun!

its the Play Like Fl0m! Great vid
Very good video, I wish all lvl 10s knew this meta.
You should make more setup videos like this!
This is fantastic!

honnestly a good piece of content
yeah this was amazing. Im 35 and was only ever playing scoutzknives when everyone was figuring this out.
I want fl0m to teach me things and talk me to sleep.
Can you do a video on the best escape route for the VIP on oilrig
bro i literally rewinded your stream the other day to see how you play ct side dust, my trio suck at ct side, this video couldn't have come out at a better time lmao

More of this video please 🙏🏻
I rarely see people playing spawns in NA premier, but I had one team with other solos pull it off correctly and it felt like ascending from NA to EU
dont worry people dont do it in EU either lmao. Atleast not consistently and without begging for it
It’s borderline impossible with randoms, even if you’re incredibly lucky and they DO know their responsibilities based on their spawn, they’ll assume nobody else does and you’ll each just feel out your role that you’ll be playing every round regardless of spawn for the rest of the match
Bro u need to make more videos like this, thats how i play dust 2 but other maps i dont know shiii about, plz🙏😅
awesome video - more!
i love this ty
i need this for more maps ❤ just all of them
Yes, please do all the maps, T and CT.
all maps please! great video!
Can we do this for the maps that barely get picked in faceit low levels? Essentially, not Dust2, Mirage and Inferno.
Do more of this. Thanks
So finally, i didn't play Dust2 that wrong.
"You're not NiKo, you'll gonna die"...
DUDE PLEASE ALL MAPS AND SIDES THESE VIDEOS ARE SO HELPFUL
you explain things simply and concisely with a touch of humor, exactly how these things should be presented, thank you... fuck fl0m

My past week of comp games I’ve been top fragging with 25+ kills but my team hasn’t been doing shit for me it’s sad I had a guy go 6-22 and two others that were like 9-22 I was 28-16 but I was playing ancient on gn4 match making is tragic
I would love a CT and T version of this for all maps
Do for all maps please
I want this for every map both sides haha but fr this is awesome. And yes i would love more
more of these please, basic stuff that you can use to get better, regardless of your teammates
Its funny how fl0m is basically just explaining the default CT setup for this iconic 20 year old map yet so many people even near 20k premier are completely or slightly clueless about what defaulting means in dust
This is theory that I think a lot of players can use.
Amazing video short and sweet. I'm also sending this to everyone I play cs with because they're all BOTS! 😂
Please keep making these I am lvl 10 but I am hardstuck because I am noob except for aiming pretty much
Please do more. There's something to listening to your voice when you speak of the game that makes me listen because I feel like I could miss some important information. Almost like you knew what you were speaking about.

the amount of high elo players who cannot follow basic protocol like this is staggering, so please do this for all the maps, so that i can then send it to them 😂
NA revival comes from the basics. (And from me begging them to buy one singular flash)
Valeu!
IT is always the B GUY!
Way better than S1mple's course
I like these super basic videos because there are quite a few gaps in my knowledge, and some of it is totally out of date.
go ct anubis
Commenting for the algorithm
VERTIGO MIRAGE NEXT
super basic is super good
Do for all maps both sides doesnt need to be complex the player base on this game is atrociously cringe its like they just run around cluessly clinking thier mice.
More dust2.
I'm Niko.
are level 10s that bad?? this feels like the absolute basics. level 10s dont know a standard default and basic util?
Make more videos born out of frustration
hey, i found it
I fking hate Dust
How am I playing this map wrong if I don‘t even play this dogshit map
even silvers know this
Yes lemme listen to an NA bum whos tier 3 for 7 years😂
First
Second?
He's talking about how we're playing Dust2 wrong, not why.
Title is misleading. Literally unwatchable.
flom you are not a pro… you dont know everything nor have you play in professional tournaments
There was no eating in this video, downvoted.
