I am an old and experienced engineer. The thing that the studentscould not explain is very simple. A job of an engineer is to explain why and how something works, and be able explain why if it fails to work as intended. This ability is valuable in any profession ( Finance, sales, social or life in general). That is why engineers are highly diverse in problem solving and solution implementation. And an engineer always talk with and based on FACTS.

You Guys are absolutely correct, research n lab needs to be of high standard equivalent to the US University. Rover that had gone on Mars was made by engineering students like you guys of perdue n other under the supervision of profs n researchers . So all engineering colleges in India should have that quality of research n lab. In US you do PHd in real form back in India we do copy paste with no outcome or invention.

Government expends 1200 crs. to set up an IIT institution to teach 300 students. and further, Rs. 180 crs every year for its running.
Total expenses every every year = 1200 crs * 12% + 180 crs = 324 crs on 300 students.
Means Government spending 1.08 cr per students. Then what, These IITian struggling hard to get Rs. 22 lacs package.
Should Government run it itself, or privatise ? Give your opinion.

I am doing Btech and i also think that our syllabus needs to be updated. Like i applied for CSE and they are teaching us stuff which is for Mechanical, Civil or Electrical. I asked my teachers why we need to study these useless things which are unnecessary for CSE students. And my teacher said "sabko padhna padta hai kya dikkat ek saal jaano samjho, next year se padhoge hi baaki sab". Mujhe samjh ni ata ki hum kyu jaan boojh kar bacho ka 1 Saal barbaad kar rahe hain. Khair koi ni sarkar se Asha toh hai ki change layenge isme bhi.
kyun ye ladke , girls reservations ke paksh me bol rahe hain ki sarkaar hamare bare me sochti hai ... it means kyunki girls k sath love ho sakta hai , relationship ho sakta hai toh sarkaar zabardasti girls ko admit karwa rahi hai ?...
ab agar log is per ye bhashan denge ki Females ko aage badhana zaroori hai ...
toh fir ye logic ladke backward caste reservation ke liye kyu nahi dete ? kya kuch castes excessively backward nahi hai ? There is lack of sensibility and Accountability in our political system.
I have stren believe in it because we Indian only remember or criticize Nehru ji or Modi ji but no body wants PM like Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji.
If we Indian understand value of our accountabilities towards our country then we can become Aatmnirbhar Bharat.
Unfortunately our political system wants all citizens to remain dependent on them.
Solution: Increasing awareness of accountability in every system is the only solution to remove corruption and negligence in our system.
