It's so embarrasing to read comments saying she was tired etc. This was beautiful, EVEN if she has that little struggle in the last part. She is a human (even though she sings like an angel) she is live, she shows she still has her touch and personally i think it's better to hear a new version than the same thing all the people do. So Hyang is innovation, she is never the same. But, I understand the ones who doesn't like her version. Stop focusing in the "bad" parts. And enjoy her because she is unique. She doesn't need to show anyone her vocals.

Sohyang's arrangements are always immaculate 💙 Perfect for her own interpretation and vocal showcasing. Obviously it wouldn't fit in the movie, but the whole point here is to make it her style. It isn't supposed to evoke the same atmosphere and feelings. She does this with almost all of her singing show versions, and it's fantastic as always!
I heard that during the preparation of this show, Sohyang caught a cold. There was uncertainty about whether she could appear on the show, but she managed to pull it off somehow. Still, she sounds so gorgeous😊

its always tricky re arranging classics. people where mad over the live remake with Halle Bailey as Ariel, so you can only imagine the dislike for an actually remake of the soundtrack. I personally didn't mind it, enjoyed watching it, but as much so hang is my fav, I really didn't expect people to carry her to a win. I personally wouldn't have voted for her to win.

Her voice seemed to be in a bad shape 2 days prior to this performance so I was surprised she managed to pull this off actually. My favourite part is the beginning and her head voice~

I notice she ascends from C5 to D5 to Eb5 to E5 to F5 then F#5 and lastly G#5 like all of these notes are middle note for her😂😂😂😂....she simply hit 5th octaves very easy meanwhile me? Still choking C5😭😭😭😭
Because she uses light coordination thats why those 5th octave notes sound easy and lack necessary weight too (but this is just a disney cute song so I dont have any problem with her light singing). But btw SoHyang starts showing struggling looking face if she adds more weight on her F5s to sound more soaring

There were some vocal drinesses without any pitch problems. This song always sounds sad to me for some reason. Her unique beautiful and clear tone is still stunning but in fact not as good as in her 20s.

Did you ever listen to her version of ¨Misty¨ (as e.g. she sang it in one of the ¨Begin Again Korea¨ busking sessions 2 years ago)? By the way: In the program, before she started singing this version of ¨Part of your world¨, she told the public that her voice was not 100% and that she was very tired from a previous concert.

She performs some of her songs and covers in this style already for several decades (she is 45) and plenty people love it. She has so many different ways of performing a certain song (¨Part of your world¨ she did in many different arrangements over the last 20+ years). Did you ever listen to her version of ¨Misty¨ (as e.g. she sang it in one of the ¨Begin Again Korea¨ busking sessions 2 years ago)? By the way: In the program, before she started singing this version of ¨Part of your world¨, she told the public that her voice was not 100% and that she was very tired from a previous concert.
