New gotrax buyer here. I just installed this and I notice the black wire just hanging out on the side. Is that safe/normal? I usually fold my scooter to carry and I notice my hand is touching the wire as well. My concern about this is what if the wire snaps if I carry my scooter? What is your experience with this?
