Why do you people only have one braincel? At the first minute of my video I tell all of my viewers that my first smurf got banned. Not because of ghosting or playing against level 6 plebs. I played on a normal objective server alone till almost level 7 and got banned. Also the system doesn't know if I'm on discord with a friend in the enemy team. There is a system banning you because of reports and stats on a certain level. Why do you people not get this?
If complaining about people's brain cell count, at least spell it correctly or you look like a clown. The sort of clown who ruins the experience for new players by smurfing on max level 6 servers with his partner (read into that what you will) actively sabotaging the enemy team. You deserve a ban for being a twat in all honesty. I haven't bothered to read the ToS, and I doubt you have, but I suspect there is something in there regarding this behaviour, there is in most games. If EAC uses heuristics and has the occasional false positive that gets overturned on appeal, then it works. Are you upset that you can't get banned on your main account or something?
he sacrificed a handful of people's fun to prove this algorithm exists, that's it there's not much else, he doesn't give a shit if you think he's a bad person.
alijahno graham why though this is cheating? I mean, from my eyes, a lot of the hit was nailed perfectly. He does know his stuff at aiming with Vasilli. Yeah, yeah, I know that this will hurt new player's game experience. But the learning curve hammer them to understand that this is the game where mobility is number one. And before you're asking, I do play too. Proxy here.
I made a smurf that had around 60%+ accuracy for awhile and never got banned. Had high levels reporting me and everything. What I didn't do was have a friend feed me kills and call out players the whole time xd
Yups, but you need x amount of reports over x amount of time. It didn't work for me either when I tried to replicate my ban the second time. I needed Calsendon to help me out with the reports. So I guess you need to get a bit "lucky" with your oppononents.
Requilla, ur a very good player but why do you have to use a secondary account ?! Those things destroy the Matchmaking (which is already broken) and the System. Can't support that, sorry
This is a proper way to tell if somebody is hacking. They will need to be all of these requirements. 1. Gets headshots quickly as needed 2. Interacts in a way! Like V,2,1 3. Quick TP Head Movement(Rare) 4. Gets rampages really often alot 5. Does not know some simple basic skills (hackers usually rush to play games)
I remember back in 2015 when I got a temporary ban for suspicious behavior if I recall correctly. I as well got prob many reports for playing vassili (this was when he used to broken af), but that they actually give you an instant ban for the amount of reports is just sad.
How do you aim with that kind of movement. Not only do u aim with your hand but you wave around on the whole mousepad with your arm. Is it easier to get better at aiming if you aim like this or should i just stick to only moving my wrist/hand???
yo requlia im scared i made a smurf today and i main vassili on both my main account and smurf should i be worried bout getting banned anytime soon? also i would love to play with you one day
Nah. only with a spectator mode and working servers it could. esport player dont give a flying fuck about new content. they care for working environments.
I was talking to this guy yesterday about the competitive scene and DB as a whole and he brought up the lack of protection we have against wallers. He said that DB makes has it to where only blantant hackers get banned and so people with wall hacks easily play them off and peek a corner and shoot you down. We also brought up how they're forcing US to use CMM instead of traditional matchmaking. CMM's bans translate to RMMs and I just don't think that's reasonable. Tl;Dr The competitive/ranked scene in DB will only flourish when the devs make it easier to use, quicker and more balanced.
where is that comment where requila gave a bunch of tips to someone in the comments and a discord link, where is iiiiit i can't find iiiiit i am cuuuurious aaaaaaa
Dude, 99% percent of low level players that play this good are either smurfs or cheaters, and I wouldn't mind if either get banned. Are you really criticising the system for a very low chance that they might be naturally godlike at a game that they've never tried before? How many times do you actually think innocent new players get wrongfully banned for cheating? This ban was desrved, and I really don't see the point of this video at all.
If the false positives like Merkin, Hothead, PKL, happened because of some kind of algorithm that is not related to EAC (amount of reports, good stats), the anticheat is even better I thought it is. They all got unbanned within a day after appealing for the ban, so SD had time to double check their accounts and reacted pretty damn quick. Of course if they have this second system in place, it needs improving clearly but this is understandable. Good stuff.
Alright let's start: - You're saying: "If the false positives". There is no such thing as false positives. Because these type of bans aren't related to EAC AT ALL (support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6899-IOSK-9514). It's a game ban by the developer. In this case: an automatic ban by an algorithm/system. After watching my vid you know it's a fact that this system exists. - "They all got unbanned within a day after appealing for the ban, so SD had time to double check their accounts and reacted pretty damn quick" Than how is it possible that PKL's account got cleared by SD but still got banned by DBNation right after? (yes, I'm mentioning it again) - "Of course if they have this second system in place, it needs improving clearly but this is understandable." Thank you. It indeed needs improvement. It's good that this system is there in a way because it WILL filter out the actual botters and cheaters. But in this case also clean and skilled players. What saddens me is that: - The players who get falsely banned their reputation will forever be ruined in a way. Look at this aZe guy responding just a comment below for instance: " bruuuuh fake "pkl" was hacking with same aimbot like lowhead..." eventhough they got banned in EXACTLY the same way as me. - a collection of noobs have the initiative. They decide whose a cheater eventhough their own game needs much improvement. - The statement: "Don't get too good or you'll get banned in DirtyBomb" is actually a fact because of this system. - Why does it say that I got banned for cheating? Maybe it's better to say: "suspicion of cheating? - I got banned from DBNation cups according to their rules because of a weird anti-cheat system that should NEVER have banned me. - most of the updates in this game are there to make DB as enjoyable as possible for the noobs. SD is neglecting the "pro scene" (which does not actually exsists in this competitive game atm) and the good players. They really need to step up their game . What if the noobs dissapear? What if pushing out content stops working? Shouldn't there be a pro scene in place that could inspire new noobs to start playing the game? I want DB to last and all the signs right now seem pretty dark to me.
By these "false positives", I was refereeing to automatic bans by this another system than EAC, yes. PKL is banned because of the video evidence DBN has. For SD it was not enough proof but for DBN it was. Agreed that it should say something like "suspicion of cheating" instead of just "cheating" when getting banned by this algorithm/system to not confuse it with the anticheat. About someone getting banned by this system, in all of these known cases the players have got unbanned in a day or two, so having the rule that players with a gameban (from DB) in DBN rules is completely fine. Unlikely that someone gets falsely banned just before a cup. I don't know what to say about the "pro scene" and SD. I do hope the game will grow and there would be more teams to compete, but I don't have high expectations after these years. For now I will try my best to keep PUGs alive and DBN will host cups, small or big, once in a while. Not much else to do about it.
Is there an official statement from DBN regarding PKLs ban other than "We reviewed the video as evidence and banned him according to our opinion of him doing inhuman things"? Like maybe making a commentary of what was suspicious and which clips where used as "evidence" and what allegations DBN actually throws at PKL, also did DBN contact SD since they are certain of illegal actions happening on his account? Or did they simply remove him from cups and forgot about everything else?
From the point of view of the game developer, the ecosystem of the game suffers from cheaters not because it violates the principles of fairness, but because it reduces the developer's profits. Overly skilled player with this point of view is no different from a cheater - the mass of players, when faced with a cheater or a very skilled player will quit playing the game and will not bring profits. So for what to try and hold to seek the difference between a cheater and a skilled player? If a large mass of players considers someone undesirable person in the game, it makes sense to get rid of his presence and no matter why. That's it
Not too involved but someone linked me this. Personally in the case of PKL my opinion was asked on the video evidence which I always write off as 'its video evidence, you can take the lowest plebs and slow it down enough and get clips and they will all look like cheaters', and this is also what I said in regards to PKL(I don't play tournaments atm, I don't actively follow the scene so I don't have biases, but I do know what high level play looks like(in any game)). I thought some things looked fishy but it being video evidence and there at least being a hint of him knowing what hes doing(positioning etc things other than aim, the 100% case cheaters always just look like they have no clue what they're doing, this combined with me being out of the game for a long time so not being 100% sure on current skill levels and meta play) and told them I didn't think it was enough to ban him but was enough keep a closer eye on him, cheaters inevitable slip up hiding it so if he was/is cheating you find them out eventually. Not that I necessarily agree but as you say, in the case of a system like you mention the problem with your ban specifically lies with X time played, your normal account might have more reports but because there is a natural progression to how good you are the system doesn't spike. You're a brand new smurf with 0 hours so if you go and stomp newbies and this system will flag you and if the system doesn't enough reports will, you will spike and you should see it coming. So the 'evidence' you give here is kinda 'meh' when it comes to providing a good case against this system, especially if you get a friend to stir the fire. Top level players wouldn't have this problem if they weren't smurfing, as you say a majority of DB players isn't used to high level players and if you take the top 5% and get them on smurfs(especially on things like Vas) I'm sure there will be a fair amount that will get a high number of reports and/or bans this way. That on it's own doesn't make this a bad system though, when properly applied it's arguably one of the best ways between a fully automated system and a fully manual system. IMO, and this is probably going to get some level of hate, I do think there is also a level of responsibility on the players(especially high skilled ones) end to not, intentional or not, dive into the cracks that systems like these have. For example, smurfing really just being bad for either side. It's kind of like pretending to be disabled so you can compete in the paralympics but then expecting fair treatment when they find out you're perfectly healthy. Especially when competitive players always argue for 'fair' and competitive environments it's seems a little backwards. I do agree however on SD not being involved and transparent enough when it comes to tournament play and the things that come with it, which to a degree for the transparency I think is fair on SD's side. Cheat vs Anticheat is a cat and mouse game that continues forever and being fully transparent makes that fight a lot harder for the Anticheat side. We all know DB needs a lot of things before any of this is relevant in a real way) and as much as it sucks for competitively oriented players like you, myself and a lot of others this is also just the route the developers chose and it has to be sucked up. It's the reason why myself and many other people who have played DB at the top end have taken a hiatus from the game or have abandoned DB completely. They understand DB isn't taking that route(yet, who knows) and it's up to us/you(as players) to either accept that and 'deal with' the struggles for the time being or do something else until what is required is in place. Always feels like these discussions eventually just turn into 'we can have casual if we have esports' vs 'we can have esports if we have casual' which is imo a bit of a pointless discussion. Add. In the case of PKL DBNation completely reserves the 'right' to do whatever they want. Which is what I mean when I say I do agree with you that SD should be more involved, if not be the final decision maker or a group of some SD members, some high level players, some admins etc. But with how it's currently set up DBN keeps that decision and that comes with it's pros and cons. As x3onn said I think the system does have good things going for it and that SD(whatever it was, EAC or manual or a FairFight like system) was quick in their reaction to his appealm they could've just pulled a Valve and not respond in any way to anything. But the reason PKL isn't unbanned has little to do with SD after that. SD can politely ask DBN to unban him but because what I said about them being a 3rd party DBN doesn't have to if they disagree with SD. My 2 cents but I doubt anyone cares :D
the real problem is, theres no, ZERO internal anti-cheat and hit detection is client side..so bots are all to common. also, afik, most if not all of these games say smurffing with multi accounts alone is a bannable offense... so, yeah.. this just shows that they actually do have a system that tracks reports, i would prefer it if it didnt ban but instead flagged an account, so sd could monitor the person, and have somebody spec them, call in more viewers if needed...perhaps they need a way to have the game detect that a 3rd party app is dicking with what it has stored in memory....anything would help. because for every smurf there are dozens of people from systemcheats/artificalaiming/aimjunkies/etc who hit up f2p games with multi new accounts, because alot of these companies include some of these hax with packs for "most unreal engine 3 games" for example.....on helped kill bc2 for alot of us was selling an all to effective bot for 6bucks a month... game became near unplayable for quite a while :/ it sucks that they need a system like this but, thats what happens when you have cheaters flooding a game to grief and pretend they are "good" last week we had yet another noob with rhino and nospread keep whole team from leaving our spawn for 2 full rounds of stopwatch... when he did over heat he would just use 'bullet spawn" to take us all out...once we all dropped as soon as the spawn shield wore off... just..dead..soooo fun... i dont feel sorry for you, you played a stupid game, and i wont feel bad if your main account is linked up and banned as well.... nothing against you, but...as my great grandfather said often "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" perhaps, despite being good, try not being a total dick, and giving the other team a chance.... i will continue to report people who near single handedly hold our whole team at bay... or snap turn and head shot me over and over as soon as im LOS or as soon as i sight over them... what i would suggest is, rather then banning people, even blatant cheaters, just have a small set of servers where they are directed with their hacker buddies/kin and let them grind it out against others of their own kind ;) played a game that did that and it worked well, and, if somebody figured out what happpened and appealed and won, they came back...since no accounts where perma banned ... they could also push a modifed update to people who are reported for cheating thats a bit more.....detailed it how it can catch aimbots/cheats/hacks... being able to detect what they are doing would help alot ;)
I never really played against PKL, wouldn't know if he was cheating or not, but if this system is in place then it could deffinitely use some improvement. You made a pretty gud point here. Just 1 question, what do the buttons on the side of your mouse do? Seen you click on them every once in a while. Are they some kind of DPI adjusters? Have seen this on many mice, and it's also on my mouse, but am not sure if anyone even uses that. Is it usefull for sniping?
Hey thanks for ur comment. I use mouse 4 as my push to talk button on Discord. In the clip I used it to talk to Calsendon, but my mic output wasn't recorded.
PKL Plays Yea sorry man, wasn't ready to accept the word "cancer" again for a while. It kinda makes me sad when people use it to describe something "bad" or "overpowered" or simple "annoying" or wathever. But its fine man ;)
What sensitivity are you using? Your aiming is incredibly smooth, and it doesn't look like you flick shot too often. The polar opposite of my sniping. :'D
Well I mean I can see why you got banned, we really don't want people like you in the game, going against new players with someone telling you where they are, such skill
-nosplash removes the splash screen on launch cpoucount and threads are useless startup arguments some people like to add that don't actually do anything exec=autoexec.cfg is him executing his config file so he doesn't have to change everything manually in the settings and can modify settings that aren't possible to change in the settings menu.
luuk hoogeveen yeah , but even CSGO players did it , valve knew it , who cares lol if he is complaining how 4:3 are unbalanced then he can play the game with 4:3 too lol
holy sh*t do you play vas for a living? xD i count it a good match if i can hit a single headshot per mag, you probably count it a bad round if you miss a shot
I think the problem with dirty bomb is the number of cheats and cheaters that they allowed to run free when the game started. I remember getting very frustrated with how absolutely random my performance in games seemed. It wasn't until I friended a what I thought was a completely legit and amazing Fletcher. Started playing with him alot in games, voice chat. I noticed that he seemed to call out people when he was nowhere near that area to help me out. After a while he admitted to me he was a hacker that used mostly wallhacks and he claimed it was pretty common in the game. Naturally I didn't believe him since he didn't seem to get amazing k:d's. He said that he intentionally tries not to over do it since that will get him reported. He told me where he got the hack and I decided to check it out. I used my old gaming PC, a new steam account and a VPN to try out these hacks so my main account would be safe. I discovered the alot of best players that I would run across often where clearly wallhacking. I could never get them jump on them and we always knew where each other were when engaging. I learned very quickly that having a wallhack makes it trivial to detect other wallhackers and that my friend was right...the amount of hacking was staggering. I quit shortly after. When this last update came out I decided to check out DB again. I'm not sure if the hacking is gone but one thing is for sure my old friend still plays and I asked him yesterday if he still hacks...he said "Of course, they haven't caught me once and I've been using hacks for 2 years. " I guess he modifies the undetected hacks or something to make them harder/near impossible to detect, I don't know the details. Anyway, I think this proves that Dirty Bomb can't stop the hacking so they might have to rely on reports. I mean it's kind of insane that my friend has an account with 20 something cobalts and isn't even scared of being caught.
Appreciate all the hard work u put behind making this video, and although i can't tell anything for sure just by looking at this video but I really hope SD take a look at it . GJ man.
stop smurfing then. obviously the more experienced you are, the harder your games will be if you stop smurfing. your just ruining it for new players. especially because of the hard learning curve of this game it discourages others to play Dirty Bomb, since they get shit on by smurfs.
People get banned on their main accounts by the same system. I explained this a milion times to a milion guys in the comments. Stop whining about smurfing PLEASE. This video isn't about smurfing AT ALL.
Merkin, hothead, pkl. I also mentioned their names in my video and also to a milion of other comments. Did you even read the comments or watch my video before commenting? Jesus dude please
What are you asking is the game to become "Quake live" where a noob is slaughtered in pieces then RQ "quake live" community is toxic like Chernobyl. i think they should check more the reports, then make the "anti-cheat" make a quick log and check if its there any malicious program (hack).
Well The whole "you being a skilled comp player that has played the game for along time" Obviously you are gunna get banned on an account that was literally just started. DB Has a different skill set to start on than anyother game out there. CS:S, CS:GO, TF2 All dont have the specific skill set for this game. This test video proves honestly nothing minus the fact that you dont hack. I mean if a 0hr on steam, level 1 headshots you and your whole team YOU not me or billy over there... but YOU and he drops a 40 bomb. You would think hes hacking. Dont bullshit me or anyone else here you'd hop on the report button just as fast as anyone. Because it is VERY suspicious activity. And just because you are "Good" does not mean you hack.... I have seen videos of wallhackers using the hacks and they get shit on.
I've made it half way through this video and Sniper kills in Dirty Bomb can easily seem like a hack. I hate how effective snipers are in the game and imho they should not be able to easily get kills at medium to close range.
You expect not to be banned for having your friend call out the enemy positions? It’s suspicious when you do it that way, and to be fair, just all around scummy for the free kills and call outs. Smurf do what you want, but smurfing isn’t healthy
The problem as everything in general, is the fact that everyone believe they are references, in anything. And this attitude is so dumb, immature and so bloody selfish, but actually this is what we are living around for over decades now. And I far as I can tell, it gets even worse and worse over the time. A lot of people claim that if you are better than them, then you are obviously a cheater, because first, they can't handle the fact someone can be better than them, and secondly even if they know the guy is legit, it will piss them off to admit it, and so they'll stick and reassure each other, this way they will believe they are stronger and smarter, even, if in fact, human history always showed us that people were just dumber in group, they were doing/saying horrible things because of the group pressure, and because they don't want to look dumb to other, as I said above people only care about feeling "reassure" and "safe". Because most of them are weak, most of them are not going to accomplish wonders, most of them will stick into the crowd. The only thing they can do and say is following the crowd in any ways, and that's it. If they were just thinking another way, they would be probably able to get some much higher skills in any field. Regards to the community
PKL Plays he is not higher skill... he was played versus noobs and played with friend, he heal him and tell info some time, so he just a medium player, i better
I understand very well what you mean, BUT the ONLY thing he tried to show, was the fact you could get banned just by getting a certain amount of reports in a certain amount of time, WHICH has been PERFECTLY WELL DONE. I don't understand why everyone is blaming him for noobashing, instead of taking a look to the amount of efforts this video involves.
PKL Plays Better players trigger the sense of inferiority within weaker players, thus to escape from the uncomfortable feeling of being inferior, they will instantly become suspicious and start pointing fingers at possible cheats or creating all sorts of subjective human labels/reasoning such as "smurfs" and "noobashing" etc. (Just like how guys who are not accepted by the girls they want would then create the label "friendzone" to put women in a negative light) All of these are simply a subconscious attempt to protect their identity from having to face any painful sense of inferiority, like how animals in the wild fiercely react to protect themselves from any perceived threats, imaginary or not. This sense of inferiority is of course, self-imagined within their insecure and ever fearful minds, and as inferiority and superiority are sides of the same coin, these inferior-feeling people can then become extremely arrogant and superior when it comes to attacking whatever they label as "injustice". What you've described is simply a dynamics that can be seen in many social group animals, not just us human beings. So if you can see such people as simply human minds still trapped within the prisons of animal instincts, I suppose you would no longer feel threatened by the selfishness of people in groups, or have the desire to judge or criticize such people. Even the word "selfishness" itself is a subjective label/reference that humans create to control their circumstances, that has no basis in objective reality.
So you have a friend play on the enemy team and call out enemies as well as feed you free kills. No surprise you'd get a report-based ban, this wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary in an automated system - an actual person looked over and sussed you out. This is NOT representative of any form of consistent behaviour - this is anectodal evidence based on your misunderstanding of what you did, and what would come of it.
MC_Spuared u got a tiny ass vocabulary then. I'll try to say it in a way you can understand: "no shit you got banned dude. Ya got ur homie givin u free kills and u look sketch AF so ofc ur gonna get a ban from the digital anti cheat software"
more like getting ban because you're too good. same like getting ban at casino for being too good that nobody else able to win. remember, there are many new player out there and you make the game unplayable for them.
Let's forget your friend that you got on the other team feeding you callouts, how is smurfing not cheating though? That's like ronaldo showing up to play in a local football tournament, and getting in just cause he says that his name is "John Smith." Of course his team would win flatout.
The problem is when this ass hat company can't make a system to allow these high-level players, you know... To play the game. He just wanted to demonstrate that the games full of bitch ass cry babies.
Soo many people are missing the point of this video. It shows the anti cheat is flawed. The anticheat doesn't know he had a friend helping him. Yet the anticheat determined he was using a 3rd party program. That is indeed worrying. A ban on a legit account can destroy some1s reputation. Especially a genuinely legit player getting tainted by that ban on his account. It actually puts me off coming back to the game tbh.
DKGaming Also, it's not the anti cheat banning him ya dummy. Listen to what he says at 16:39. Its an algorithm that looks at your account/how many hours you have, your in game level and your kills and determines whether or not the odds are slanted towards you being a hacker or not. For every 1 person banned from this algorithm I can probably show you 10 legit cheats though. So this system is fine. Also dirty bomb has a new recording feature the devs use to record every match and review reports on.
u cheated with your team mate telling where people are in a pub game if you wanna get unbanned talk to the people in DBnation since they will understand if its happened to them they are closer to the devs also
First of all, I quit a long time ago and I don't even have any idea who you are... so none of this is biased... About the video: 1. Why go through the trouble of putting the clock there and the handcam and showing the desktop and all that when you run the game, if you're just going to make cuts in the video and skip ahead? If you're trying to convince people it's unmodified it would actually get the point across if you didn't make jump cuts. Also, the clock is useless because things like that can easily be manipulated, along with the video itself.. Just saying you went through a lot of trouble for no reason because it doesn't actually prove anything. 2. You technically were cheating because you had a teammate on the enemy team telling you information about where they are. 3. Because of this, I think it's a bit more understandable that they would believe you're cheating if you consider how bad the players are and combine this with the fact the guy provoking everyone to call him a cheater is the SAME GUY who is giving you information on his team. You've got a guy on the inside who is providing information to you that would only be obtained by cheating then turning around and trying to encourage them to report you.... 4. People who are innocent don't feel the need to "put out evidence" to "prove their innocence" so making a video like this will only further encourage the intelligent/experienced players to believe you were justly banned. 5. Your "reputation as a competitive player" does not, in any way prove that you aren't cheating. Being a competitive player only further provides incentive to cheat because something is actually on the line. People who play massively popular games with LAN events and huge cash prizes and sponsorships regularly get caught cheating for this exact reason. 6. You shouldn't state "it's not EAC but an algorithim"... "noobs just report you and you get banned" as a FACT when you don't have any way of knowing this is the case.. you should say that you THINK that this is what is going on.. You didn't "uncover such a weird anti-cheat system"... you intentionally got your friend to provide you information that only a wallhacker would have then shot people in the head with an MoA for several games, while getting him to encourage others to report you.. then made a presumption that it must be based on people reporting you with the UI.. you didn't even consider that someone was spectating you? really? 7. "How is Dirty Bomb going to ever support a pro scene with such an anti-cheat system?" It's a dead game and it's been a dead game for a long time.. I'm not sure why you are focused on this when there are no players in the game to begin with.. they have to cancel cups all the time because there aren't enough players. 8. DBN has a load of issues.. the administration is a complete failure... 9. SD is definitely very concerned about their noobs, and it's probably only getting worse with the game being as dead as it is because better players shit on those players and make them want to quit (often because they think they cheat). SD has a long history of making balance changes to the game solely to benefit noobs despite their whole "we won't hold your hand" claims. 10. You're wasting time suggesting SD to do things like get sponsorships, pro teams, etc.. nobody is going to play because it's dead and SD doesn't listen really.. 11. Another problem with the video production is you dids a lot of clicking with a black screen then used the keyboard (presumably to give the impression you were opening the task manager) then did a lot more clicking before dragging it in. If your point here was to show people your process list, why did you do all that stuff behind the scenes? Again this is a poorly executed method of trying to "prove your innocence" and because of the nature of how videos work you could have easily closed things down before we even saw you clicking around a bunch before dragging Task Manager into view. In addition, showing people a process list can also easily deceive viewers because you could change the names of the items in the process list. About the comments: 1. If this was due to cheat reports why do you think it is that really good players who consistently get accused of cheating (including players who used to play) never got banned for cheating? 2. All the players who have been around in DB for the earlier years knows that fE has had a reputation of a cheater team for a long time and I've personally witnessed at least 1 member cheating. It's not unheard of that cheaters hang out together, and considering Ozzie got banned on two separate accounts and then 1 or 2 of his teammates got banned too, it only further convinces people that they really were cheating. 3. As we all know, SD is pretty incompetent so it could be possible that they are just being lazy and letting some automatic report system handle this but again this makes me ask why doesn't it happen to anyone but the same guys who hangout together? Especially considering they aren't even the best players in the game.. the best players in that game have quit already, if you consider the entire history of the game and right now the players getting banned for cheating aren't even the best... While being really good isn't a reason to report someone, if you're drastically better than people and the game has such a dead community it means that those low skill players are going to report those drastically better players even MORE often than these people who have been getting banned. 4. At the same time, especially since the game is dying so hard.. I would hope that SD has enough brain power to review cheat bans before they go in place by checking the player out MANUALLY.. then again they never did do that in the past when submitting video proof of cheaters... you'd think they would do things like this to try and save the crumbs left of the playerbase but you know.. SD... incompetence and all. 5. You said that this isn't related to EAC at all but a game ban by the developer.. but again you have no way of knowing this and only speculation. Also, all bans in DB will be game bans by developer because they use EAC and not VAC. VAC bans are only used with VAC. Game bans can be for a number of things including things that aren't cheating.
Didn't even bother to finish reading all of it but from what I gathered you're trying say he got banned because of the info Cal gave him, this is pretty much bs since amazon played solo on another smurf that got banned for cheating, that was the ban that gave him the incentive to make this video. You also seem to be trying to indicate that amazon was cheating in order to get banned, which again is a joke, anyone who knows amazon know's his sniping skill level and also knows he is legit, I as a person who has participated in many cups with him in my team know for a fact that he does not in anyway cheat in this game.
1. As you could've seen in the description, I could upload the uncut version to youtube. But I will only do that when it's actually requested (takes a long time to render/upload 2 hours of gameplay). But since nobody actually thinks im cheating it wont be neccesary I think. The clock isn't something I could manipulate. www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/netherlands/amsterdam maybe with the editting but hey, I made this edit in Windows Moviemaker. Don't think I'd be capable of that. 2. As Armuh mentioned as well: On my previous smurf that got banned randomly I had no teammates what so ever helping me out and still got banned. My teammate was there only to prove that reports are a big factor of getting banned. 3. Such an irrelavent point if you see my previous answer. 4. Very irrelevant comment again because everybody knows im not cheating. But I could upload the uncut version if its requested by DBN etc. 5. "People who play massively popular games with LAN events and huge cash prizes and sponsorships regularly get caught cheating for this exact reason." It really appears you haven't played this game in a long time (or maybe not at all). There arent any cups or sponsorships in this game what so ever. There is 0 incentive to cheat in this game. But sure dude. I guess every comp player out there could cheat for such reasons. 6. Such an irrelevant comment again. I was banned on my first smurf without a teammate helping me out. I tried a second smurf but that didn't got banned eventhough I played better (did you actually watch my video?). My 3rd smurf got banned at EXACTLY the same level at EXACTLY the same amount of exp (just before reaching level 6). There was nobody spectating me and I don't believe a SD employee would work on a sunday. It's NOT EAC because it's not a VAC ban it's a game ban (ban by developer). And who is supposed to be spectating me than? A SD employee on a sunday? 7. This comment just triggers me. Just because the game is "dead" I shouldn't invest any more time it trying to make it better? The game is still in BETA so maybe it has never actually "lived" to begin with. 8. yes, we agree on something. 9. another thing we agree on. 10. I'm afraid you're right on this one also. 11. Yeah, I didn't expect to get banned and didn't really think through what I would do if it would actually happen. Last part was indeed excuted poorly. I'm not someone that makes a lot of vids or does a lot of streams. Guess I'm a nooby to all this. Luckely we still have my handcam and my TERRIBLE gameplay (I suck major dick in my vid/uncut version and still got banned). 1. It's about consistently getting reports + getting certain stats etc. I don't know the exact algorithm. You wont get banned if only a few guys report you one game. 2. fE actually had a cheater in their team. I know this because he got banned by EAC (not a gameban like me and PKL from xD). Ozzie's smurf got banned by EAC because he allowed fE Fresh to play on his smurf. He never got banned for any other reason. 3. You think I got banned in my vid because I hang out with some other players? What are you on about? It doesn't matter with who you hang out with. What matter is that you need a collection of noobs to report you over x amount of time with x amount of stats etc. and YOU WILL get banned regardless of who you are of who you hangout with. Havent I just proven that in my video? Saying all the good players already left is just your opinion (I guess you're a bit baised after all having played this game in past). 4. Probably not. Let's hope they step up their game indeed. 5. You got any proof were a ban by EAC isn't a VAC ban? As far as I know a ban by EAC = VAC ban.
ValveAntiCheat is not EasyAntiCheat. VAC ban means that you got banned from a VAC protected game. "Game ban" just means that you got banned by something else, manually but automatically too.
You have to ask yourself if it really matters whether you're cheating or not. You're ruining other people's games equally, it doesn't make any difference for them. But I don't blame you, I blame the game for having broken, overpowered snipers, who are allowed to chain-kill everyone as if they were botting. It's not something you could do in, say Enemy Territory. Also, snipers (& thus Sparks as well) are the only mercs allowed to be god-like, no other class can be, even if you play like a god, it can't reflect in the game. You can't repair faster because you got good at it, you can't increase reload timers faster because you got goot at it.
and i get somes manys time report in cs go and dont get ban.for me if you get a ban in any game is becouse you are cheating...is never happens to me in any game(i play decent, not the best player on the world anyway).
and if you are a smurf, you deserve a ban becouse for that exist restrictions lvls and ranks in every game.Sorry for my english^^.And just is an opinion.
If you smurf obviously people will get suspicious. There is a guy called madness he is even better than you he is lvl 370+ he is one man army he did not got banned nice gameplay though.
Ligically when you think about it, this really was cheating
Why do you people only have one braincel? At the first minute of my video I tell all of my viewers that my first smurf got banned. Not because of ghosting or playing against level 6 plebs. I played on a normal objective server alone till almost level 7 and got banned. Also the system doesn't know if I'm on discord with a friend in the enemy team. There is a system banning you because of reports and stats on a certain level. Why do you people not get this?
ok but you were still cheating
Proxy here.
amazon confirmed whitest man alive
Can almost see through me with this lighting LUL
Dont think this game is going anywhere in e-sports anytime soon
Im afraid I have to agree
I made a smurf that had around 60%+ accuracy for awhile and never got banned. Had high levels reporting me and everything.
What I didn't do was have a friend feed me kills and call out players the whole time xd
Yups, but you need x amount of reports over x amount of time. It didn't work for me either when I tried to replicate my ban the second time. I needed Calsendon to help me out with the reports. So I guess you need to get a bit "lucky" with your oppononents.
It almost surprises me all the thumbs down, almost.
Requilla, ur a very good player but why do you have to use a secondary account ?! Those things destroy the Matchmaking (which is already broken) and the System. Can't support that, sorry
you just completely missed the point of the video
This is a proper way to tell if somebody is hacking. They will need to be all of these requirements.
1. Gets headshots quickly as needed
2. Interacts in a way! Like V,2,1
3. Quick TP Head Movement(Rare)
4. Gets rampages really often alot
5. Does not know some simple basic skills (hackers usually rush to play games)
he is hacking using aimbot in sniper rifle , if you observe carefully then you will notice .
im pretty sure you can appeal that game ban if there no hacks involved. so i don`t see the point.
that spark is giving you ennemy position + kills ? because that's cheating
You know you're allowed to do that? Nobody is banning anyone for callouts from friends in pubs
papinigis11 still cheating
U SECK LEL so leo with juni should be banned because juni says leo when to detonate stickies to kill more enemies?
papinigis11 ahaha u're pathetic ahhah he's friend is in the ennemy team thats cheating u loser ahhaha
You are just crying since that guy has friends who help him in games. While you don't, if i'm wrong just give me proof
I remember back in 2015 when I got a temporary ban for suspicious behavior if I recall correctly. I as well got prob many reports for playing vassili (this was when he used to broken af), but that they actually give you an instant ban for the amount of reports is just sad.
Bro I mean those were some nutty shots. You gotta see where they were coming from
How do you aim with that kind of movement. Not only do u aim with your hand but you wave around on the whole mousepad with your arm. Is it easier to get better at aiming if you aim like this or should i just stick to only moving my wrist/hand???
when the adderall kicks in
yo requlia im scared i made a smurf today and i main vassili on both my main account and smurf should i be worried bout getting banned anytime soon? also i would love to play with you one day
Jesus fucking Christ, im watching this in horror. Up untill this point I thought vassili was a merc that level sevens pick.
What are your sensitivity settings on the game and for the mouse?
SD couldn't care less about the comp scene lmao, we're not gonna get any sort of DB esports any time soon unless they change their attitude on it
100%
Nah. only with a spectator mode and working servers it could. esport player dont give a flying fuck about new content. they care for working environments.
Damn, 100% true.
Tl;Dr The competitive/ranked scene in DB will only flourish when the devs make it easier to use, quicker and more balanced.
tru
Why did you put the time up there...
where is that comment where requila gave a bunch of tips to someone in the comments and a discord link, where is iiiiit i can't find iiiiit i am cuuuurious aaaaaaa
The Talking Penguin they even thinking smurfs are cheating lmao , must be kids
Can you ask how many dpi and game sensitivity is the best?
If the false positives like Merkin, Hothead, PKL, happened because of some kind of algorithm that is not related to EAC (amount of reports, good stats), the anticheat is even better I thought it is. They all got unbanned within a day after appealing for the ban, so SD had time to double check their accounts and reacted pretty damn quick. Of course if they have this second system in place, it needs improving clearly but this is understandable. Good stuff.
So it's time to unban PKL from DBN?
Alright let's start:
- You're saying: "If the false positives".
(yes, I'm mentioning it again)
- "Of course if they have this second system in place, it needs improving clearly but this is understandable." Thank you. It indeed needs improvement.
It's good that this system is there in a way because it WILL filter out the actual botters and cheaters. But in this case also clean and skilled players.
What saddens me is that:
- The players who get falsely banned their reputation will forever be ruined in a way.
That's it
On what DPI and in game sens do you play?
Wow man
Your enemies realy were bad, but you were very good too, what level is your normal account?
the real problem is, theres no, ZERO internal anti-cheat and hit detection is client side..so bots are all to common.
also, afik, most if not all of these games say smurffing with multi accounts alone is a bannable offense... so, yeah..
this just shows that they actually do have a system that tracks reports, i would prefer it if it didnt ban but instead flagged an account, so sd could monitor the person, and have somebody spec them, call in more viewers if needed...perhaps they need a way to have the game detect that a 3rd party app is dicking with what it has stored in memory....anything would help.
because for every smurf there are dozens of people from systemcheats/artificalaiming/aimjunkies/etc who hit up f2p games with multi new accounts, because alot of these companies include some of these hax with packs for "most unreal engine 3 games" for example.....on helped kill bc2 for alot of us was selling an all to effective bot for 6bucks a month... game became near unplayable for quite a while :/
it sucks that they need a system like this but, thats what happens when you have cheaters flooding a game to grief and pretend they are "good"
last week we had yet another noob with rhino and nospread keep whole team from leaving our spawn for 2 full rounds of stopwatch... when he did over heat he would just use 'bullet spawn" to take us all out...once we all dropped as soon as the spawn shield wore off... just..dead..soooo fun...
i dont feel sorry for you, you played a stupid game, and i wont feel bad if your main account is linked up and banned as well.... nothing against you, but...as my great grandfather said often "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"
perhaps, despite being good, try not being a total dick, and giving the other team a chance....
i will continue to report people who near single handedly hold our whole team at bay... or snap turn and head shot me over and over as soon as im LOS or as soon as i sight over them...
what i would suggest is, rather then banning people, even blatant cheaters, just have a small set of servers where they are directed with their hacker buddies/kin and let them grind it out against others of their own kind ;)
played a game that did that and it worked well, and, if somebody figured out what happpened and appealed and won, they came back...since no accounts where perma banned ...
they could also push a modifed update to people who are reported for cheating thats a bit more.....detailed it how it can catch aimbots/cheats/hacks... being able to detect what they are doing would help alot ;)
Funny thing is, he never runs out of ammo...
and what is ur real lvl ur main acc
Your zooming your mouse around and barley moving how low is your sensitivity set
Oh ok, thx, ye was wondering why there was no mic sound :P
We played together months ago and you go mad on my name which was "Mr.Cancer" or something didn't mean to offend anyone tho
PKL Plays Yea sorry man, wasn't ready to accept the word "cancer" again for a while. It kinda makes me sad when people use it to describe something "bad" or "overpowered" or simple "annoying" or wathever. But its fine man ;)
Good to hear it :D
can i find your cfg anywhere? your game runs way better than mine
orrrr you got caught hacking
What sensitivity are you using? Your aiming is incredibly smooth, and it doesn't look like you flick shot too often. The polar opposite of my sniping. :'D
400 dpi and rocking 7.2 ingame sens atm.
3yrs old and still entertaining :)
well to be honest it is kinda suspicious to see a new player with 0h played....to play like that...
dude.... may you share your config?? i loved it
Well I mean I can see why you got banned, we really don't want people like you in the game, going against new players with someone telling you where they are, such skill
What mouse and keyboard do you use?
Corsair Gaming K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and Razer Deathadder Elite
Do u play on EU servers cuz i think I have plauer with that guy 420BLAZEIT
Did you have no crosshair?
what is this function to see player's lvl in TAB ?
This is an old video when you used to be able to see ranks and back when there was 7v7 and 8v8 objective casuals
Do you play with 65 FOV?
Guy what is you sens and fov?
Your mate was saying where the enemys were that's why you got banned for cheating / wallhack / radar
I hope they make a new ban system a better one or remove it
Its was like they can't spot u like at 10:50 the bushwhacker jus casually walked past u and u were killing his teammates
which config u use?
Its sad to believe you can get banned just because you have skill
Watching this today brings back so many memories ❤
can you give me your dirty bomb config files to get that sweety 200 fps thx :)
he probably has a good computer
is vassial now a starting merc! i remember having to buy him aha
He is not hehe. He's in free rotation at the moment ;)
C4 Requlia ohhhhh aha
02:36 what's this ?
-nosplash removes the splash screen on launch
cpoucount and threads are useless startup arguments some people like to add that don't actually do anything
exec=autoexec.cfg is him executing his config file so he doesn't have to change everything manually in the settings and can modify settings that aren't possible to change in the settings menu.
damn when was the last time i played with you
4:3 stretched should not be allowed, it should black-bar automatically :S
anicca 444 He doesn't even play at 4:3, he plays at 1280x720
oh, my bad, I thought that was just for the video... but my statement was just for anyone who does really :P as I know quite a few do
anicca 444 who the fuck plays dirty bomb on 4:3 stretched, no need for bigger bodies.
quite a few do unfortunately
luuk hoogeveen yeah , but even CSGO players did it , valve knew it , who cares lol if he is complaining how 4:3 are unbalanced then he can play the game with 4:3 too lol
So you are amazon huh, I always hate it when I come across you :'(
holy sh*t do you play vas for a living? xD
i count it a good match if i can hit a single headshot per mag, you probably count it a bad round if you miss a shot
thats not your mouse 16:45
look at the mouse and then look at the mouse in dirty bomb it didnt move
he picked it up and moved it there
alright man thanks didnt notice that
I think the problem with dirty bomb is the number of cheats and cheaters that they allowed to run free when the game started.
GJ man.
Thank you sir
Thank you both
Those toxic kids in the chat has no evidence if he really is cheating
im feel sorry to you bro, im with many thousand hours worrying about this.
I mean tbh you should be banned for smurfing like srsly not cool man
stop smurfing then. obviously the more experienced you are, the harder your games will be if you stop smurfing. your just ruining it for new players. especially because of the hard learning curve of this game it discourages others to play Dirty Bomb, since they get shit on by smurfs.
Bishoo OO i never said it wasnt allowed but if u dont want to. get reported so many times that u get banned then stop smurfing.
People get banned on their main accounts by the same system. I explained this a milion times to a milion guys in the comments. Stop whining about smurfing PLEASE. This video isn't about smurfing AT ALL.
C4 Requlia 'people'. k
Merkin, hothead, pkl. I also mentioned their names in my video and also to a milion of other comments. Did you even read the comments or watch my video before commenting? Jesus dude please
Lol what learning curve
nice hax .... i wonder what is in your autoconfig.cfg
Dude, nice frags! Hopefully they will unban u. What was your original level though?! I'm a level 21. Also, what's your thoughts on javelin?
I have seen videos of wallhackers using the hacks and they get shit on.
that aint no cheat; that's pure aim right there
wht is ur accuracy ???? 0_0
averaging around 50-60%
Wait... Is that the fucking same mouse I have?
they need to make a system that high lvl people can watch the video that is recorded in the game and judge their plays. Just like CSGO
i know Db is small, but this can be an option of they grow bigger
Chris nguyen they added a feature that records all games played so that if someone gets reported the devs can watch the video.
72 kills...
I'm creating a smurf account guise
You're clean. And quite good. However, It's a decent thing to do to hop from server to server so that not every match in a single server is a stomp.
Again: I needed to do this for the purpose of this video.
I've made it half way through this video and Sniper kills in Dirty Bomb can easily seem like a hack. I hate how effective snipers are in the game and imho they should not be able to easily get kills at medium to close range.
DynoSauR they nerfed sniper rifles realllllly hard recently
ezpz for me im even try hard using aimee at get 24 headshot
teach me how to be pro Vassili..
I don't understand why everyone is blaming him for noobashing, instead of taking a look to the amount of efforts this video involves.
hey blame do you have game
his friend was pkl :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
PKL Plays Better players trigger the sense of inferiority within weaker players, thus to escape from the uncomfortable feeling of being inferior, they will instantly become suspicious and start pointing fingers at possible cheats or creating all sorts of subjective human labels/reasoning such as "smurfs" and "noobashing" etc. (Just like how guys who are not accepted by the girls they want would then create the label "friendzone" to put women in a negative light)
All of these are simply a subconscious attempt to protect their identity from having to face any painful sense of inferiority, like how animals in the wild fiercely react to protect themselves from any perceived threats, imaginary or not.
This is NOT representative of any form of consistent behaviour - this is anectodal evidence based on your misunderstanding of what you did, and what would come of it.
drop the big words, speak normally
and after reading through this comment 10 times i don't understand the point of it at all
MC_Spuared u got a tiny ass vocabulary then. I'll try to say it in a way you can understand: "no shit you got banned dude. Ya got ur homie givin u free kills and u look sketch AF so ofc ur gonna get a ban from the digital anti cheat software"
I understood the comment I just didn't understand why would he repeat what already has been said and answered
Y tho?
you're over here getting constant godlikes and in 9 months I haven't gotten one lol
more like getting ban because you're too good. same like getting ban at casino for being too good that nobody else able to win. remember, there are many new player out there and you make the game unplayable for them.
you sniper skill no doubt is pro ,but for what i learn in ur video , get a friend on other team ventilated to you. is it not cheating???
lol we have the same k70 keyboard Cherry red
Can u update us if u can still play in DBN? I think u definetly should
Technically my smurf is still banned so I guess I'm banned at DBN too. But they haven't said anything about it so I guess I'm not. We'll see.
were you unbanned?
何て言うマウスですか?
Let's forget your friend that you got on the other team feeding you callouts, how is smurfing not cheating though?
That's like ronaldo showing up to play in a local football tournament, and getting in just cause he says that his name is "John Smith." Of course his team would win flatout.
The problem is when this ass hat company can't make a system to allow these high-level players, you know... To play the game. He just wanted to demonstrate that the games full of bitch ass cry babies.
You have just proven EASYANTICHEAT does not work. I know two other players who were banned on similar mechanics previously.
anti cheat wouldn't work because he doesn't have a third party cheating program
Soo many people are missing the point of this video. It shows the anti cheat is flawed. The anticheat doesn't know he had a friend helping him. Yet the anticheat determined he was using a 3rd party program.
That is indeed worrying. A ban on a legit account can destroy some1s reputation. Especially a genuinely legit player getting tainted by that ban on his account. It actually puts me off coming back to the game tbh.
DKGaming I doubt you're skilled enough to get banned so you wouldn't have to worry(:
About the video:
About the comments:
First of all, I quit a long time ago and I don't even have any idea who you are... so none of this is biased...

5. "People who play massively popular games with LAN events and huge cash prizes and sponsorships regularly get caught cheating for this exact reason."
It really appears you haven't played this game in a long time (or maybe not at all).
"Game ban" just means that you got banned by something else, manually but automatically too.
sneak310 you say it's a dead game but it has more players than ever and the player base only seems to be growing
You can't repair faster because you got good at it, you can't increase reload timers faster because you got goot at it.
ez to target ,no move no run
u should play at some higher server
and i get somes manys time report in cs go and dont get ban.for me if you get a ban in any game is becouse you are cheating...is never happens to me in any game(i play decent, not the best player on the world anyway).
and if you are a smurf, you deserve a ban becouse for that exist restrictions lvls and ranks in every game.Sorry for my english^^.And just is an opinion.
