I've played this map a few times now. And its intense for both sides. If either team doesn't have every unit fully committed, they just get a cheek clapping just like real conventional assualt warfare. Also a total sweat tub, but its probably the hardest and most well balanced matches I've ever seen in the game. Wins actually feel hard fought.
I just played this map as it is in the video (br 3 with manlichers, mp40, MG34, pzIVF2) followed the instructions and we rolled not so shabby allies team in 10min (the advice for the first capture point is cruical)
I use the Sd Kfz 251/1 to flank right to the houses. Then use that to enfilade and flank. You can get counter attacked but that happens about 20% of the time. Really works when someone spawns in APC and immediately builds rally point.
If you like bolties, check out mas-36. It has the sights of m1 garand, but better and it has no melee cool-down. You can spam bayonet and clear out the whole room super quickly. The only other weapon without melee cool-down that I know of is gold order sawed off m1 garand
I love the mas-36 the bayonet speed is insane, that I add more speed with that melee perk the speed is cracked after you get all four levels in to it👍👍
i like this map the opnly problem i have with it is that it is very sasceptible to bombing runs and artillery strikes, like you can never hide from it cuz a lot of it is semi flat and open
ParaDivision, maybe try some alt history and create a custom game Allies vs Soviets. Would love to see how that would look like. Tommy vs PPSh and some P-47 vs some other soviet rocket bullshit. And maybe in the future Pershing vs IS-2 :D
I made a BR3 Germany squad and it's so OP going against 1 and 2. I feel like I rarely get put into high br games and as Germany it's usually fine as I play more supportive role. Do you think changes need to happen to BR3?
i said that feature is not in the game but very much needed. the only way to get maps you want atm is to disconnect all game in the first 10 seconds that you dont want until you get a map you like
i played a few matches in this map but this change to allow any BR to normandy/bulge killed tunisia, i got into over 30 matches today (not played all ofc) and ZERO were in tunisia, a friend of mine said he got only once, and that is, playing german br 2, first time in 315 days of enlisted that i totally lost the interest in playing the game
yeah, although being good and every american can play normandy maps now, it still feels bad due to now map picking. the game needs map picking more than ever now
it was high br up until some days ago when also low br can play it. i stopped playing br5 german armies since its boring and play br4 instead. the ZK & mp40 are more fun than stg and random event bolties/semi autos are also more fun than only fg42. and if a too hardcore sweatstack comes up, ill just whip out the GL riflemen squad@@spencersecrest6001
After playing Tunisia low tier as the US, and losing the majority because newbies have a very difficult time with open sight lines, the change is fantastic. Also Tunisia gets old when it's over and over, back to back. And me and my friends can't play Tier 3 because some of them are still grinding for the M9 Bazooka, or better tanks, since tier 4 and 5 tanks make the M1 Bazooka useless.

Rallies feel very important on this map. But defending feels very hard, because the enemy has soo much space to flank
