Bonewidow's meathook also works like Grendel's feast meaning you can grab a vomvalyst and hold it indefinitely, even if it goes into spectral form. I believe you can also summon your mech afterwards and it will still hold on to it.
You actually can’t hold voms indefinitely with feast anymore, DE added resistance to them so feast only holds them for 8 seconds, then 4, then 2, etc. Idk if Bonewidow is immune to this or not.
I have over 2.6k hours in mission, but I am a joke when it comes to eidolon hunting, I know how to execute them, but I am barely able to do two trios in a single night cycle (I mostly play solo because reasons), so when I watch your eidolon solo tricap I'm like: "Oh, it's alright, I can do that", but when I get there, I can never replicate the speed that you are able to achieve, not by a long mile. The reason why I've subscribed to this channel is that I wanted to be a better eidolon hunter so I could help new players when they ask me how to do it. I myself don't need arcanes, got all of them during the scarlet spear, but the hunt is one of the only things that I'm still a bit lost, so I am sure I'll enjoy this video. I would love if u gave me some tips about lurehandling in a solo hunt. I was looking at my clips to see how could I improve and I noticed that I waste a lot of time lurehandling. I do consistently 3x3+1 or +2 and I think that this could make me finally reach the 4x3
Grab 2 lures during Terry before 4th limb break. This is on top of 1st lure. So between two limbs, whether 2nd, 3rd or 4th. This lets you stick around at terry to kill voms after last limb break for a few seconds, since you already have 3 lures. Then, if you already have 3 blue, grab 2 more lures during healing phase, otherwise, grab only 1. Come back to terry before he stands, I will assume you have 4 total atm. Charge as many lures as possible, and take capshot. Spend a second or two killing voms after capshot. Grab your 5th lure after capshot, teleporting the loot lure there. Spawn Gant, stay for all of gant until heal phase. Make sure you get as many voms as possible. Grab a 6th lure during heal phase at some point. Come back to gant before he stands, you must charge this 4th lure before or just after capshot. Grab 7th lure after capshot. Spawn Hydro, stay for all of hydro, kill all voms you can at start of heal phase after limb breaks to charge 2nd lure. Grab the final 8th lure and try to charge it, or come back to Hydro ASAP if you don’t see Voms. Use the standing up voms to charge it and take capshot. TP loot to gate and extract.

basically pick between any of Stormbringer, Hammershot, HCal. or Vile if you want a faster followup. Storm is the most consistent damage, and just barely edges out hammershot unless you are running ridiculously high str volt (300+). Then hammershot pulls ahead iirc. HCal, but only better than the first two if all 3 bullets hit. So it's a mixed bag.
So i've been listening from some videos about trido hunts that a negative range riven stat for contagion it's actually beneficial, why is that? And how positive or negative stats on IPS can affect damage output on contagion? Which are better or worse for eidolons? If I have a negative slash in a zaw i have minmaxed for contagion should i try to get rid of that stat? And this is for vectis. How a negative puncture riven stat affects it? Much thanks.
Hitting anything, literally anything, with your zaw will consume void strike stacks. This includes your own volt shield, eidolon lures, energy pad restore objects (yes you can "hit" these), sentinels, other players, trees, rocks, the floor. So less range = less likely to accidentally hit these things while throwing your contagion around. Void Strike stack preservation is extremely important, for obvious reasons, especially in solo. There is tech to get around this, where press volt speed will cancel the throw animation before it begins, but the window is extremely tight. You can also go operator right after the throw input but before the animation. Both will throw the contagion without doing the actual throw, which is how people get around not hitting anything when they don't have a -Range riven. Those are only needed for solo strats when throwing through a volt shield though. For reference on what I mean, I would suggest watching this video of my solo tricap. I don't animation cancel here, but this is how close I am to volt shields, and I can get away with it because of my -range riven. +/- has near 0 effect on actual damage output since you mod contagion for elementals usually. The only time this will matter is a -IPS that drops a zaw to 0% in that IPS if the dispo is large enough, will prevent you from dealing damage to profit taker on that specific IPS if the shield rotates to that vulnerability. Contagion is just built full crit and whatever element you want for what you are fighting. There are hybrid options that include status, but it's a lot more niche. -Puncture is only a 1-2% damage loss for Vectis in Eidolon Hunting. You won't notice it. I wouldn't specifically buy one like that for hunting, but if you use it for normal play, or already own one like that regardless, it's perfectly fine to use it for hunts.

You can make the loot spawn inside walls in some cave spots so no one can get it FYI. This is 100% troll level and will put you on ignore list faster than mafiaing.

push Terry into water and the voms will spawn at shore because they can't spawn over water. They can't reach terry because he is in water, so they just hover in place and keep spawning at the closest point.

@@whatever5143 If it's related to amps, typically you want to get a 111 asap, unless you are willing to wait for a 123 amp. From there, you basically just grind slowly to a 177 amp from Fortuna. At the start, if you literally have nothing, you can Ivara Prowl to loot vomvalysts while following the Teralyst around and aggro-ing it. Otherwise, you just Pub Terry's until your gear is half decent and get the hang of the fight. Then you can start the pub tricaps to get a feel of their attacks. The tricap fight is quite painful until you have a legitimate amp, and recognize the attacks.

I already did the troll tp on the last run and the vs would always be confused 😂 the first time I did it we had to look for 5 mins to find loot cuz it was stuck inside a rock
I had it a few times with TP to the door, these small 'stairways', the 3rd arcane can be underground. "Sucks" for all in pubs without the "suck" from Itzal lol. Once or twice even Itzi didn't "suck" enough so i also fell short of the last arcane lmao.
For any non-meta amp, it will still be best route to just take Madurai, and whenever your Void Strike is up, activate it and shoot through a volt shield if present to double the damage further. Should take down the entire shield in a few seconds regardless of amp if not using meta amps.
I just alternate between dashing, and holding S to dash backwards. You dash forwards by default, so you don't need to hold W to dash forwards. Also holding W to dash forwards can cause some unrelated bugs to this. No special secrets. Keys on PC are just alternating: hold Ctrl always -> space -> s+space -> space -> s+space
@@kingdead3729 Argon is only for stability. Usually I will take Primed Chamber, because the amount of damage increase it gives is more than what the stability of Argon is worth. But on the other hand, PChamber is a couple hundred plat. You do also have to keep in mind it is more punishing, in that you really need that first shot to count, else it's kind of a waste. Regardless, neither have a huge difference from each other in practice. They just have different pros and cons.

Not exactly certain, seems like a new one they added as a variant of an existing bug. Old bug wouldn’t let you pad if you’re holding W, but a lot of people I know lately have said it even doesn’t work when they aren’t touching anything.
I currently don't, because that's actually a massive endeavour and I wanted some people to help me make it, but they were too busy XD I would recommend learning where lure spawns are, and going in with Trinity. That way you can take your time learning the fight and charging lures. I do have a video on how to fast charge that I can link below, and is useful for all purposes in general. With Trinity, you can take the fight at your own pace and easily heal yourself and lures up. Once you get the hang of how to manage lures, you can move onto Oberon or Volt. Just keep in mind Volt is a DPS race; you basically kill it before it kills you and your lures. I would recommend Unairu 777 amp if you're starting out and staying casual. Still need to press 2 faster. If you do it right, the animation should be barely visible at all, if present. Doing it perfectly will look like your frame didn't even move the arm at all.
I mean, the title is self-explanatory. That's why I labeled it "Advanced". These won't be useful tips for learning hunters. It's basically just how to get from 5x3 to 6x3, or do 6x3 better.
If you mean in chat on first set, usually that means the lure handler will do the 1st, 3rd and 4th teralyst shield on 1st set only. Meaning, Volt will be expected to take out the 2nd Teralyst shield. This type of chat is only relevant for first set, as every set after, everyone should be shooting every shield when they're there.
You can tp lures after capshot, the loot pops up where lures explode 15s later. This means so long as you tp the lures within 15s, you can move the loot anywhere on the map.
But why would you want to tp to a cave? I can't tell if there is some advantage to doing that. I always thought you tp to the shrine for terry and garry and for harry you tp to the gate.

I currently don't, because that's actually a massive endeavour and I wanted some people to help me make it, but they were too busy XD
I would recommend learning where lure spawns are, and going in with Trinity. That way you can take your time learning the fight and charging lures. I do have a video on how to fast charge that I can link below, and is useful for all purposes in general.
With Trinity, you can take the fight at your own pace and easily heal yourself and lures up. Once you get the hang of how to manage lures, you can move onto Oberon or Volt. Just keep in mind Volt is a DPS race; you basically kill it before it kills you and your lures.
I would recommend Unairu 777 amp if you're starting out and staying casual. While Madurai 177 is faster, it takes a lot more effort and focus, and most importantly, a ton of energy pads.

If you do it right, the animation should be barely visible at all, if present.
Doing it perfectly will look like your frame didn't even move the arm at all.

Can void dash back up or AW back to surface. That happens sometimes on higher ping. But K-drive fixes the ability-related bugs
It's also a cheap way to avoid spike waves if you don't have harrow or arcane nullifier

What is 134 mean?
If you mean in chat on first set, usually that means the lure handler will do the 1st, 3rd and 4th teralyst shield on 1st set only. Meaning, Volt will be expected to take out the 2nd Teralyst shield. This type of chat is only relevant for first set, as every set after, everyone should be shooting every shield when they're there.

I didn't understand the last tip about the cave
You can tp lures after capshot, the loot pops up where lures explode 15s later. This means so long as you tp the lures within 15s, you can move the loot anywhere on the map.
But why would you want to tp to a cave? I can't tell if there is some advantage to doing that. I always thought you tp to the shrine for terry and garry and for harry you tp to the gate.
