Realistically, 2nd turn with an ok first turn, negates from number 38 and 90 are good but you want to kill asap

Galaxy can go 1st or 2nd in my experience.
Going first, you can bring out Lord + Harbinger + Solflare or Lord + Solflare and Starliege (bonus for galaxy photon dragon or orbital equipped to starliege for magiscepter like protection on your entire board.)
Going 2nd, the Cipher package decimates boards or, better yet, C62 just wins games outright.
Fun deck, but it requires a lot of experimentation and time for your own preferred version of the deck.

That's the weakness of the deck. it's ok either way 1st or 2nd, but not strong enough Specifically one way. It's a hybrid deck

@galanda17 I'd say that's a strength more than a weakness.
A weakness would be the high lvl garnets that can brick your hand and the lack of a powerful starter (circular, martha, and rogue doll come to mind)

It's good to be able to go 1st or 2nd, But to do that it eats up the extra deck for galaxy-eyes Specifically. Less answers to issues the deck struggles with. The main deck only spams monsters that are weak alone. That's one of the major problems with galaxy-eyes.

And the monsters from the main deck that can put up a fight, You ss them in defense position. Which forces you to depend on your extra deck.
That's why I see it as one of its weaknesses

@galanda17 Can't agree with the extra deck for Photon/Galaxies being a problem here. Aside from not being able to negate traps directly, the deck can deal with a lot when it gets going. Tachyon Dragon can deal with cards that can't be targeted like Mikanko, for example.
What I can agree with is the reliance on the ED since the galaxies have low attack and the photons have stipulations like you mentioned that make them useless in board breaking..... but most decks rely on the extra deck to get past hurdles in Yugioh.

Btw, you can make C62 without galaxy eyes. Just use the effect of afterglow in the battle phase to attach photon dragon to it to make it gain attack=to materials levels plus monster effect immunity.

Issue with galaxy eyes
Hand traps dont really work out well in this deck aside from maxx c especially with the in archetype negates
