The great Tom Sullivan on the box. Fond memories of my times there with my father in law Patsy Mc Loughlin and Ann and Carmel my lovely wife who lived 9 doors down the street in number 19 Great Tuesday night sessions and Sunday morning s Thank you for posting
The guy on the bango at left is Wally and the musician at right is ‘Buckshot’. The man on the accordion is Tom. Super talented man. Great to see him again.
Ahhh I’m the little kid there with my dad Jim Mac Ardle playing the concertina! This is amazing! Do you have any more recordings?? Thanks so much for posting
I was a frequenter of Tí Chairbre round about that time! I've been out of Drogheda for far too many yaers - I remember Caitlín Bean Uí Cairbre telling the clientele to shut up and listen to the music ( Ciúnas!!!), Róisin (Ar dheis Dé don bheirt acu) and Áine. been back a few times, but sad to see this pub locked down. You got a bit more Guinness than foam if you ordered in Irish. Man those were the days! So glad someone came in and videoed this!!

Out of your head on the TK and Tayto!
That's great! I'm glad you've seen it. But no, I'm sorry, I don't have any more video from there.
