My dad really likes his older version. It had magnetic side windows and was a softer fabric so it was quieter. I’ve hunted out of it and really like the concept. I would bring a shooting stick so you don’t try to rest your rifle/shotgun in the opening.
Just bought a two person chair blind for gun and cross bow. Bought the two person one for more room. I think it's going to work out great for deer hunting especially when I go to state land and can move it quickly. Like the video. Can't wait to get it. Thanks

I had the original single with the steel folding lawn chair type of seat.
I used it extensively in Indiana state. I loved sitting in it on rainy or snowy days with my Ruger model 77/44 weatherproof, 16" barrel. I felt like I had just enough room in it.
I definitely recommend fluorescent orange flagging nearby.
I wouldn't be interested in the 4 leg scissoring style chair at all. I Suggest utilizing a foam seat cushion with those to avoid the frame resting across the back of the thigh. It can get painful !
i bought one. looks pretty good. going to use for hunting and photography. Two man has plenty of room for extra gear on the extra seat.
I was out squirrel hunting Sunday late about 10/30/22 10 am. I had 2 bucks literally walk by me within 20 ft. Nose to the ground sniffing. 1 buck was about 6 pt and the other looked to be a 12 pt. They just kept making a complete circle around me ignoring. Me totally never experienced anything like that before. Muzzleloader starts Saturday 11/5/22 I plan on being in a treestand there 6:30 am

Did this work out for wildlife photography? Enough room for a tripod and gimbal for big lens?
@WildHorsesofMissouri yes more that enough room! And the extra seat (I bought the 2 seater) gives me room to store my camera bag to where everything was easy to reach.
@@dalearnold3788Thanks Dale. I appreciate the confirmation. Looks like these things are a little difficult to find now. It appears amazon has the 1 person but not finding the 2 person. I will keep digging to find one.
How water proof are these blinds ? Do I have to waterproof this my self? Nothing was said about rain .
Can it be used for Ice Fishing too ?
Just like I said in the other video, I love mine and you can cinch the straps up and it hangs on ya like a deer stand, doesn’t move too much that way. I just sit my fanny back, or backpack in the seat beside me so no scent is on the ground. Glad ya like it.
Do you think it could double over for ice fishing one person ?
@@everythingoutdoors-vl9bl I don’t really know, never iced fished, but I can sit a 5 gal bucket in front of the other chair, between it and the wall? I guess it could work, just imagine sitting in a fold up chair with a bucket beside ya. I don’t know if it would be enough room to have a hole in the ice right in front of your feet, there is about 18” from your feet to the front wall, hope that helped. But it very well may.
I see that there’s something that separates the left and right away so I assume it’s either sit in one side or the other. How much does it shake to switch seats?
For got to tell you I got a trypoid for my gun and cross bow that fits I made a base plate to put in the ground with big spikes and mounted the trypoid on it. When I get it set up do you want to see it . Let me know.

Any chance for a follow up video showing shooting out of the double chair blind and also where / how you stow your bow in there with you before the shot? This blind is very interesting and would get you covered without the loud set up. I like it, just wondering how it works getting your compound in there and making a shot smoothly. Any info or follow up appreciated. Love your videos, you help us "try" gear without buying first. Very nice for us, as most hunt gear is buy and hope it works like the picture.
No sir I can’t because I don’t have it anymore however, with the double chair there’s plenty of room to shoot a bow out of it and for me I believe I would get a limb clip holder like guys use shooting tournaments! Then you could just sit the bow on the ground.
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors I do already have a tru glo bow jack kickstand type deal that allows you to set the bow on the ground like that. That was kind of the main thing I can't figure out, if you're nocked up with the bow on the ground, that arrow sticks out a good ways. But you're saying the legroom down below in front of the chair is enough to not be getting hung up on the walls of the blind while it's sitting there or trying to raise it to shoot?

I'd think you would want to "mud it" out to knock down the shine of the material also. Your thoughts Clifton?
It depends on the location! With any blind I’ve used I’ve tried to put it in the shady side of tree IF POSSIBLE lol if not yupppp rub some mud on it!
How much is the cost
I JUST bought one of these, got it today in face! I really appreciate the reviews on un packing and packing. I am really looking forward to using this for both crossbow and gun hunting in Ohio this year.

No it’s not much heavier! For bow hunting I’d go double for rifle or turkey I’d go single!

Having a crossbow I would go with the smaller one bc it’d be easier to hide

Absolutely
I love mine. The only issue I have is you can not set this up on a hill.

Sitting in a single person tent tree blind is just to Damn small for one person and the 2 person is far better for 1 person

Absolutely
I pulled the trigger and bought one of these.
CONS:
1. You *CAN* *NOT* shoot a compound out of this. Unless you have a 27in AtA and under a 26in draw, it's not possible. The cams will rub the blind and your elbow will move the back of the blind. I had to scrunch down as well to get a sight picture. The noise alone from cam rubbing and elbow rubbing would spook a deer, then throw in the whole blind shifting when your elbow hits and it's game over.
2. The carry bag makes a ton of noise. I like that it has straps to carry it, but the blind moves around in the bag and sounds like 100s of potato chip bags being opened at 3am when you're trying not to wake anyone in the house up.
3. No loops for brushing it in. You *have* to brush a blind like this in, so get your DIY pants on because you're about to get creative.
PROS:
1. Gun and Crossbow friendly. Plenty of room for either, with enough space left over for your shooting stick or tripod. Your rifle/shotgun will be sticking out the front of the blind, but I can't see that being an issue if you're brushed in well.
2. Kid-friendly. I sat my 7-year-old son in it and simulated having him get into position to fire the crossbow. It was a little complicated, but nothing you couldn't handle.
3. Chairs are comfortable, with cup holders on both sides.
Personally, I'm going to keep it even though I really wanted to use it for my compound. Being able to bring my son out with the crossbow is good enough for me. This will do a great job of hiding almost all of the movement from a 7-year-old.
For gods sake get the hell out of those blinds and go hunting.
