I love knitting socks and like you I mess up the heels and toes, I also have second sock syndrome and I have solved it by knitting a few socks and then going back and knitting the mates. I get bored when i know how the self striping wool is going to knit up so this has sort of solved the problem. Sounds crazy, but it works for me. I love your wool and the colours are amazing.
Shawl pattern is lovely and wow does that look like snow on those beautiful roof tops. So glad you're doing better. I remember you were a big walker. Do you still walk daily?
Thank you! That shawl was such a fun knit. Yes, I still walk daily. I stopped running, but now I try and walk at a faster pace. It really helps my physical and mental well-being. 🏃♀
Another great podcast, Sharon. I love your Christmas shawl! The colours, the shape, the fluffy edgings. Can't wait for the pattern to be out on Ravelry - I live in the UK - and it would make a lovely December knit. You got fantastic value at Rhinebeck (in yarns anyway - the COVID wasn't so good). I could not have resisted those lovely yarns, not even the black. Have you thought of knitting your black cardigan holding one strand of yarn with a strand of sparkle? I'm trying to plan a trip to Rhinebeck 2024 with my daughter because I've read so much about it and want to have the experience. I too am retired from full time work in the NHS but still do some private work and have lots of other interests. Definitely not bored though sometimes I'd like a bit more knitting time. I'm not sure which is worse - not enough knitting time or too much knitting time! I fin that both usually lead to a lot of frogging!! 😂
Thank you Claire! Your idea of knitting the Rhinebeck black yarn held together with a sparkle is an intriguing idea! I'm going to look into that. Hope to see you at Rhinebeck someday!
About a year and a half ago I shifted the focus of the show to be more knitting focused. Rich and Jamie are fine but no longer appear on the show. I’m not doing Vlogmas this year. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks Sharon for your quick reply. My husband quite liked seeing Rich on your Xmas vlogs - and the gin bar too. Especially like the one from about 2017?? I got a bit swamped down with so many podcasts and “cut back” to one UK podcast. But I like watching several at this time of year. Hope your health is improving. 😊
Lovely show..great black yarn buy. cardigan will be very nice. Nice to see you.
Have a wonderful trip miss Sharron!
Thanks for mentioning me in your podcast! YES, we did have a lot of fun at Rhinebeck.

I am knitting the Dingley Dell. It is fun, but has a v neck. Love the shawl!!
Nice! Enjoy your pattern.

@@KnitStyle So glad you like the suggestion. I Hope to see you at Rhineback some time - perhaps wearing black with sparkles? 😃
Oops. Hope I’m not being rude - but I’ve just found you again on UA-cam. Are you going to be doing Vlogmas please? And where is Rich and your doggy? 😊
