This is a Modest mouse clip from the late 90's in seattle Washington at the club formally known as Rock Kandy...The video gets better when there are close ups.
R.I.P. Jeremiah Green. This drum track along with many others will live on forever in my heart and soul. Love this live recording.. raw and in their prime.
Hey there. Yes, I filmed it...Its on Hi 8 which was pretty good at the time. Still have my old camera...I would like to get into filming stuff now with my new digital rig or maybe a high def. Ive been out of the loop for awhile...
It’s hard to anticipate the value of these kinds of videos until decades later. This is a real window into that time - well done on keeping the equipment and uploading. Peace
yes RKCNDY many great shows were there in the 90s, PJ, Mad Season, etc. I think they filmed a few scenes from the movie "Singles" there- the part when Alice was playing see v=iUeHyaAMOxA. also think the name changed to "DV8" before the owner got busted selling too much weed. We used to go here then the near by Off Ramp late night ah the memories of Seattle in the 90s thanks for posting this and im psyched that Modest Mouse is playing Sasquatch '11.
@sadsuppysucker with the exception of dramamine most of their best songs are post-2000. just saying, their best work has been since this time. their newest album is their worst, but the three previous were close to perfect.
I completely disagree, lonesome crowded west, long drive, nothing from something, interstate 8, even sad sappy sucker are part of what I would say are their best. Them as a power trio were so fucking cool I don't understand where your getting your information but you really gotta listen to there old stuff to make an opinion on it.
I'm not gonna tell you you're wrong since music is subjective. But I will say 'Lonesome Crowded West' stands the test of time. Best driving music ever, too. Drove from Florida back to Colorado with this on repeat through lightning, tornadoes, hail, torrential rain... it's the best soundtrack ever.
RIP Jeremiah Green. Amazing drummer in one of the greatest indie bands of all time. Your beat lives on through your music. ✌️

You did a good job. You have the best live video of this song on here.

What a time. What a band.
3:15 Isaac really makes his Westone scream
i would LOVE to see the rest of this show!
not that it matters but it was called RKCNDY... now it's a shitty hotel and the parking lot is now a 24 hour fittness... i loved that place.

I’m gonna have to ask you to hold this L, and get the fuck off this platform. Thanks.

Ridiculous. That first album is classic. There’s not one bad song on it. I can’t say the same for some of their later albums.
narc alert
