Great video, thanks! Is there a way to set the Layout Name as a property, so you could number each layout and have that become the page number in your set of drawings? Or another way to automate page numbers?

Yes, definitely! I just made a video about this almost exactly. The field/property is called CTAB to pull from a layout name, but checkout the video here for more info and a way to customize it

Is there a way you can change the revision number, date, description etc. for multiple different sheets in the one location i.e. sheet set manager. Currently, I do this by editing the "sheet properties" for each sheet but it is a slow process for large sets with 100+ sheets.

Hey! Great question, I definitely run into that a lot with large sets and it can be a slow/tedious task!
I've found a couple options, 1. If you have properties that are going to be the same for all sheets you can make custom fields/properties for the entire sheet set which can then be referenced in any drawing they apply to. Then changing them at once can be done my editing the main sheet set properties rather than each individual sheet properties.
The other option which lets you edit properties fast for multiple sheets and all from one screen is a paid add-on I've used in the past. I don't know if or how often it's updated but I used it quite a bit in the past with success
It's called JTM ssmpropeditor and is a standalone app that lets you edit the sheet set properties independent of AutoCAD which is great if you have a ton of sheets and you don't need to open in AutoCAD either.

Thanks for the video! What is the difference between those kind of drawing properties fields and Sheet Set Manager?

They're very similar in how we can use them in fields throughout the drawing, but the main different would be that Sheet set properties can be used and linked from any drawing file that is part of your sheet set file. Drawing properties are limited to only the drawing file (.dwg) that the properties have been setup in. So you'd need to change the properties for every drawing file if using multiple drawings. Sheet sets would be the best bet for larger drawing sets/project with many files.

You said you'd link to the sheet set ad-on...you didnt.
