Both of you are 100 PERCENT right Finn was daggered for being too human. I think about Finn can't cry for help ,move ,talk ,eat or even open his eyes. Think about that happened between 1114 and 2010. Only thing that be said his that he's free form the brothers reined international life. Mikeal may have cruel to Klaus during childhood but doesn't mean that reply toctureing mikaels favourite son.

@@ValJ_29 I think Casper Zafer (who plays Finn) actually quit acting sometime during the Originals and was only able to make short appearances because of this, so the writers had to work with what they could

The time when he died his siblings cried and I think he forgives whatever his brother did to him because it was only first time when he died his siblings try to save and his last word was "Always and forever "
I think if he lived longer he would have held onto his grudge. Would have been a matter of time for them to betray him again.

I've always appreciated Finn, despite some of the choices he made i really believe that he deserved better than what he got.

Finn deserved better 💔
Finn, to this day, remains one of the most unfairly hated characters of the shows universe (mainly by Kol fangirls though). After having been treated like shit, pretty much all of us would have reacted like Finn. I really hope he has found peace at last, even though I would have liked to see more of him. He had so much potential! The growth into being happy and close with his family, the dynamic he could have had with his brothers, and the type of uncle he could have been to Hope...
Also, if we're being honest we do have the admit how hot Finn was. Like sure, none of the siblings are awful looking but he was the best looking male sibling. His facial structure, those bright hazel eyes. If he'd stuck around, there could have been so many interesting ships too.
I always loved Finn he stole every scene he was in regardless of what actor portrayed him you honestly saw each aspect of the family in him

With Rebekahs attitude
But I love how he was devote to Freya his sister no matter what he always loved her he believed she was the one good thing about his family and his death I thought was so tragic because that was right when they started to understand him and when he started to realize the bond between them that he never chose to see before my favorite scene is the one with him and Elijah in the car when he tells Elijah the difference between being daggered for a few decades compared to a few centuries.......
That total and utter feeling of loneliness but the worst part wasn’t even that. It was that it was his own family that did it to him.......
His death is one of the saddest scenes in the originals for me and his funeral scene still brings me to tears especially the way they each send him off Klaus simply saying
“I swear to you......you will be avenged...”
Even Klaus saw that his brother who he may not have totally understood but still loved was now gone......and so he showed his love the only way he could
By swearing to avenge him.....

And I loved the way they killed Lucien you could see that Klaus was killing him for Camille but all of them were ending Lucien for Finn...........😭😭😭😭😭

Had the writers thought more about his character, Finn could have easily become one of the most intricate and recognizable Mikaelson siblings, and although that will never happen, I'm glad the fandom does recognize this potential. This video shows perfectly his relationship with his family and most of his crucial scenes, and although I'm missing more scenes with Sage, generally I think you did a good job.

i'm glad she was gone from this, they had one episode together and then he died. other than that, i never liked sage, big misogynistic views coming from her and the way she talked about women being objects to be taken, grossed me out too many times to count
Finn and how they treated him was a prime example of how low down that “family” could be. The reasons for what they kept him daggered, and essentially forgot about him, were petty.
They simply found him *boring*

Right! Finn was literally the only sane one, they saw him as a bore because he wasn’t a psychopath who killed everything in his path. Sage was the only one who genuinely loved him and it angers me they didn’t get their happy end together

The Originals committed numerous sins that cannot be overlooked but Matt Donovan, Jeremy Gilbert and those bitches Elena and Caroline are no better, sacrificing thousands of vampires, many of whom innocents perhaps, died in the name of their petty goals. Maybe you people are going to hate me for this but I was glad when Jeremy died in 4x12. Honestly i lowkey feel bad for him. Like klaus kept him daggerd for more than 900 years and literally not a month after he was killed. Also none of them cared about him like Elijah and Rebekah would go against klaus if he hurt one of them and sometimes kol, but Finn they literally left him like that because he was boring I swear it’s so sad . Maybe if his siblings cared about him like they cared about each other things would have probably been different, and he wouldn’t have to be desperate for Esther too love him.

Klaus was cruellest to Finn. The damage he did to his older brother. The fact that he didn’t even understand why Finn hated him (or all of them for abandoning him) still escapes me. I love this tribute to his character. Beautifully done.

Exactly I hated how Rebekah and Elijah always fought for each other against klaus , but when it came to kol or Finn they did absolutely nothing.
Finn was far more noble and rational than all of them, even Elijah, and was wronged more than Kol

Finn was just hurt and upset, because Klaus kept him neutralized by refusing to undagger him after he had been daggered by the five and leaving hin in a coffin for 900 years. Because of Klaus Finn barley saw the light of day.

Lets all agree Finn could've been a good character if the writers showed his side of the story more.
He was forced to be what he defined as evil and he was a good man trying to fight the evil before it consumed him. Once he found love she was murdered along with him, and their whole sire line. His "family" didn't care. His whole life was focused on killing his siblings because thats what he believed was evil. His family murdered thousands/hundred thousands over the years and he wanted to protect the humans. He didn't consider them family because he was outcasted by them; they treated him like a obstacle.

I don't understand why people hate him so much, he, Rebekah and Kol wanted the same thing to be human again and get rid of the blood thirst which was forced upon them. He was forced to be an immortal and then forced to be in a box for fucking 900 years.

I don't know why the writers treated Finn as the sacrificial lamb because he could have been one of the best allies to the Mikaelson family and he had high morals that exceed that of Elijah's,he was more in control of his bloodlust than all of his siblings

My Finn i love him so much that's why i spend days looking for fanfics where he gets justice and not by getting revenge on his family but by being a part of it
Lovely work! It's so difficult to make videos for Finn, there's so little to work with, but you are an artist.
I didn't think much of Finn in TVD (whatever little I saw of it, only for my Mikaelson babies), but I really found him more interesting in TO. TO season 3 could've taken a different turn after Kol and Finn were resurrected. For one, Klaus should've apologised properly for daggering them for centuries, which contributed to both of them being against the family. And secondly, Elijah could've take a much deserved vacation from handling Klaus, and left that to his brothers, for once.
They really should've worked more on Finn and Kol in TO. I know that was not possible in TVD, as it was about Salvatores, but instead of devoting season 4 and 5 to the annoying Hollow and Nazi crap, they could've focused more on the Mikaelson family dynamics, with flashbacks and all.
When Finn died it was an emotional moment....... The way everyone was together and.... It was just so emotional

When he was a child, he lost his sister. When he was a young adult, he lost his humanity to become an immortal vampire. He was put in a coffin by his brothers. In fact, all Finn wanted was normal human existence and the support of a Family.
Finn Mikaelson: The one so humble he hated his own existance...He was afterall the eldest brother.

Well-written character! Ironically, the first born son of a viking father but doesn't like killing. He's the Mikaelson most closer to humanity.
I never really liked finn until season 3 episode 17 of the originals when Elijah was making fun about how finn spent 900 years daggered in a box and yet no patience and finn asked him if it was all a joke and how he slowly came to reality of being paralyzed and entombed in his own mind. It was truly sad
i wanted to see more of Finn and Freya. they had an amazing bond and considering all other siblings did him so wrong it just felt right when they were together
