Today 2nd day of Prayer and Fasting 🙏
Our main verse John 13 and this preaching help me a lot to other to "love the church like Christ did"
Many years ago I have participated in a feet -washing ceremony at a Christian school, led by some Americans who belonged to the Evangelical Friends Mission. It was amazing, because some of the Christians present were self-centred and fighting with the others.
Thank you Pastor. This was a beautiful commentary and I just needed to know I understood it because I desire to be very close to the Lord and remember who is always within me when things don't make sense and be at ease accepting his love for me and to keep a servant heart. Serving is fun and lowly serving reminds me of Christ who got on his knees to wash his disciples feet. He is such an amazing example to follow❤❤❤
thanks God that you are an instrument for his glory!
Today is March 28, 2024. Today is Maundy Thursday. John 13:1-17, 31-35 will most likely be read in churches today. And let us remember Jesus' commandment to "Love One Another." (John 13:34)
Amen 🙏🙌 Father give me the grace to serve others inn the way Jesus did, forgive me, cleanse me,purify me to be the person you want me to be in Jesus name Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Judas heart was not right... Question for me or others: is my heart right?
What is the translation? The version?
Pastor Paul uses the English Standard Version (ESV)
So you can't approach God if you have any sin in your life? Any imperfect thought or motive?
Maybe this washing isn't a picture of forgiveness, but of washing with the word - as Ephesians 5 talks about - a washing that renews the mind. Our minds can get twisted as we go through this wicked world and its false philosophies.
