ONE WEEK CHALLENGE BABY!!! AND I DID IT!!!
i wanted to explore mr grizz's dreams while he was on the ship and what he could've potentially dreamed about, so he dreamed about being with mammals back on earth! (this is all my idea im not stating this is canon) it transitions between the ship getting closer and closer to earth and mr grizz's dreams slowly breaking apart as he loses the mammals to the crash
im sorry i love this bear so much people don't dive into how tragic his backstory is so im starting a movement to make grizz angst

OMG THE ATMOSPHERE-
this feeling when everything is fine at first but when the frame switches to the breaking rocket and you realize what is going to happen, you stop breathing for a sec and you start to worry about the character you see for the first time, Oh god I got goosebumps!!
and the movements are soo smooth it feels like im looking on a real animals

I wish there was a way the comfort grizz before he did what he did. Maybe in the dlc? I want there to be a thing where a final battle can still happen but before you fully defeat him you give him a chance and he realizes what he’s done and you forgive him and comfort him and being there for him. I know how it feels to be extremely lonely and to have nothing, I’ve lived that way my entire life. It really hurts so I can see where it corrupts him into trying to turn everyone into mammals, I just hope he has a redemption and gets the love he deserves

cannot tell you how obsessed this animation has made me with this version of therefore you and me. i tried listening to the original and i could not stand it unless i brought it down to this speed. unfortunately none of the slowed down versions on yt have it in this key and i have a million projects to work on so i cannot do it myself, but more reason to watch this!!!

Tbch, it doesn't require every detail to know that Grizz was simply trying to establish mammals as the norm, for me at least. And as a furry at heart, it especially doesn't take much for me to appreciate this big beautiful bear. 😊🐻

I've had this on loop for so long it is flawless.
The contrast of Grizz running with the animals thinkings it's all for fun while the animals look like they're running away from danger and Gizz completely not noticing. Only when his friends disappear does he realise something's wrong but it's not a sudden realisation. It's like a slow creeping realisation that they're gone, something's not right, and then the bright colours are gone and Grizz is left awake and alone. It's such an eerie feel.
I cannot express to you how much I love this animation.

basically before the world ended thanks to nuclear warfare, humanity sent an ship with mammals in cryo sleep into space, so that the ship could come back once the planet had recovered, but something went wrong and it crashed and the only survivor was mr grizz (the bear) who now learns that the world is now dominated by marine species and he is probably the last mammal

his character is really sad when you think about it, waiting 12.000 YEARS (people can get bored in some minutes so imagine), just to first: not having what humans promised you and second: realizing that everyone you loved, knew, saw or just existed in the same realm that you is dead forever.
If I had to go through all of this I would surely be insane too.

it is fun to think about what would've happened if he wasn't asleep, I'm pretty sure it's directly stated that Grizz was in cryosleep, but I'm not sure if it says for now long
Flawless, I wish I could draw and animate like that. The scenes constantly changing from his dreams to reality is really well done, and the music was a really good choice

Imagine waking up and everyone you know is gone. Not just your loved ones; your entire species, your genus, your family, your order, your class, nearly 400 million years of evolution _gone._ Thankfully there were a few fish left so your phylum isn't entirely gone, but you'd feel so alone you might as well be on an alien planet.
I do not know anything about where this is from, but I understand.
The animation and art is fantastic, but it is complemented further by the communication of this characters' ill-fate and tragedy. A skill which I aspire to emulate.
Terrific work, I hope your own future stories, if you have any in mind, are presented with the same thought and care.

The way it goes from beautiful vibrant pinks to dark shades of grey (49 of them to be exact /j) when Grizz wakes up is just,,, hshwjskna wow wow wow i love this so much

this is so amazing... super smooth and wonderful colors and progression of the dream... :) i really think people should talk more about the lore surrounding grizz other than "look he's a bear because of course he would be!"... when i read the after alterna log i got so sad. it almost looked like when he got back on earth, he was roaring out into the emptiness of the world he didn't know anymore. this is a really lovely showing of how dread-inducing that must've been. super cool :)
