Nobody thinks about the gifts beyond just asking for them. God is fair and just. I made the mistake of just asking without thought of anything outside the box. His answers changed my view. I smoke but never considered that to be relevant to asking for the healing gift. He used me to heal one time. I swear the girl was dead. That presence I felt, we even though it was lung crushing I've been chasing ever since. It's never the gift. Yeah it helps people but It's His heart we are after. God frowns upon hypocrisy. Some never recieve a gift because of hidden hypocrisy. God didn't tell me I could not be used for healing but he told me "Why would I put that type of gift into the hands of someone who treats their life with total disregard and poisons the very breath of life I've given her?".... we put so much garbage into our bodies and minds these days there isnt any wonder so many are lost. But see, my eyes and mind, I took care of those. I haven't watched tv in almost 5 yrs. I spend my tv time dissecting the word. Conversations every day with others, I inject scripture that relates and lead it to Christ. With that said, the Lord allows me to see the unseen with my natural eyes periodically. Last Oct I tried to watch a movie with my daughter, the Halloween one. The HS enabled me to see small bat like evil spirits come in and out of the screen on the gruesome scenes. But yeah you cant expect God to work through a part of the vessel when it's not holy.

Hi David. I'm a worship leader at my church. My husband doesnt attend my church or have an active Christian life. How do I stay in the annointing on Sundays before service when my husband is compromising and has a very distracting "secular" atmosphere in my home? I pray and prepare but Sunday mornings before I leave he will play loud secular music and I can feel the distraction of a demonic spirit trying to pull me away from the power of God for that morning. It's very difficult to be married to unsaved or lukewarm husband and be in ministry. I'd love some helpful advice. Thank you

Beautiful preaching David, as this is a battle with spiritual warfare. I am looking at myself and see a luke warm Christian and starting to do more with Bible reading and puting more God devotion towards my life and with what I do at work and travels. David, I used to know peoples thought before they speak. However, I suppressed it because i was scared of such unnatural pronominal. I did not realize it was the holy spirit!
the bible tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling...God requires total giving in we cant be lukewarm we cant afford it .because its great!!
