- My first impressions of this awesome little dual sport, the Honda XR150L! Thank you HONDA Powersports US for letting me have so much fun on this bike! #honda #hondaxr150l #dualsport #bikerlife
"You have time to smoke a cigarette or text your ex while it warms up!" Ananda, you're not only adorable, but your review was absolutely outstanding. You make it feel like I'm the one riding the bike, going through the gears, feeling how it handles, and testing its limits, such as they were, on the freeway. I look forward to forthcoming reviews from you. I hope the sushi was delicious. You know, your review was just like the bike; everything you need to get the job done, and nothing annoying or superfluous to mess it up. Keep up the great work!
That bike reminds me of my Suzuki 125 I had as a teenager in the 1990's.
Had a Suzuki 120 2-stroke in the 60's. If I got down low on it I could reach 65 mph
I saw a woman doing 70 on a DR200 once on the freeway. I rode alongside her for a while just to see how long it would hold it. It did fine. The woman was small and she must have changed to taller gearing, but it did it.
I just bought one 2 days ago. It’s a good overall bike to get you out on the road or off . Good review!
Keep me posted on how you enjoy it!!
@@AnandaNineOne will do! I like your attitude in your reviews! Looking forward to the 300 L review! That’s what I really wanted just double the cost . One day

It reminds me of my first bike 51 years ago. Honda SL100. It went 65 but it was about 80 pounds lighter. I'm old enough to downsize now so I sold my Honda NC700X & I'm looking at this bike for in town & country roads.
It's such a pity that we don't get this bike in the EU (probably because it's carbureted) or the Yamaha WR155. It would've been my first pick either of them.
Regarding video tips, I have none, for me was perfect. I love the fact that at the end you're actually riding the bike and leave the street sound on instead of playing some music.
I rode two-up on one of these, all over local roads and trails. I love that little bike. You can literally pick it up and carry it over obstacles haha
Wow great job for a first video!
I've been riding motorcycles in California for almost 50 years and I'm pretty sure you have to have a minimum of a 150cc to ride on the freeway even if you can keep up with traffic. I think it used to be 185CC but, bike have more power nowadays. You can ride on backroads that have 55 MPH speed limits but, not on a regular freeway that doesn't have cross traffic. No matter where you ride always keep your head on a swivel and ride safe. Enjoy the ride.
I believe you are correct! Now the law states that the engine must be 150cc or more to be on the highway! This one is 149 cc 🤣
I'm in Vietnam on holiday and have hired one of these for the past 2 weeks. I have ridden 2000kms from Da Nang to the Chinese border (Ha Giang loop) and im almost finished on my trip/ride.
I weigh 95kgs. My bags and gear weigh 16kgs. This little bike has handles things well. Admittedly, it struggles to maintain 100kms an hour. Howerver, it will sit on 80kms an hour non-stop. This is where it has lived past 2 weeks. It corners nicely - i guess becaise it's so light.
This has been the perfect bike on road and off road here in Vietnam. Its no enduro bike (I own a ktm 300 exc) and it's no adventure bike (I own a Royal Enfield Himalayan). But it is a great all rounder and i have had some great fun on and off road!
I’m so glad to know your experience with the bike! Thank you so much for sharing and have fun in Vietnam, I hear it’s a great riding spot!
Great video for breaking into UA-cam, congrats! Now waiting for a) the dirt review b) some XL600R videos (you gotta have this slide of the internet screaming "no way that was 1st kick/cold" too 😂 )
Coming soon!
I don’t want to die on a 150 either 😂 But at least you’d be having fun… 🤙
Great review - as always you're right on point - excellent content as always. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to your future videos!
More to come!
Nice bike! I have the Brazilian version 'NXR BROS' and it is an excellent bike for urban commuting.
Amo a Bros! Moto raiz que transporta muitos trabalhadores no Brasil! Se morasse lá, certamente teria uma!
This is the best review! Thank you!
Yeah, it's not my dream bike, but I still want one.
For a first video.....Brilliant!!! I remember being on the bike with a single old GoPro. And now I have an X3 on the handlebar and an Insta360 Ace Pro on my helmet and for vloging. You are doing amazing work what with your Moto Company and now here. Cheers
Great first vid!
Thanks!
Fantastic review, first one or not ;) I've had my XR150L for about 10 days, but it snowed the day after I brought it home (about 9 hours north of Minneapolis). Great for gravel highways, etc. My vStrom is too heavy for farm country. A good bike, but I'll pickup an older, cheap cruiser or something for 2-up and highway trips.
Keep the videos coming!
You did a great job!
Good video, Ananda! I personaly enjoy your style
Thank you! ❤️
And the dialect or accent ads an air of mystery and intrigue, to me. 🤠
It is truly an exceptionally good video, especially for a first. Thank you .
Aw thank you! ❤️❤️
Olha lá ein, vim aqui dar aquela moral. Mas não pode parar de fazer vídeos… tem que continuar, UA-cam é long run não sprint. Sucesso Anandinha
great bikes always get us through good work .. I hope it was fun as well as the food enjoy...
Thank you. Best review out of all youtube. Decided to buy this one for gas purposes to give the v8 truck a break and save gas on the communte (top speed roads 55mph) and it does great for that.
Thanks for the great video, I have one and love it as a play bike and simple trail riding. Sometimes my motocrosser is just too much bike for the trail , that’s why I bought it.
I have an RM250 two stroke, from 2005! Too much indeed!
Great video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Great video! You’re a good speaker, intelligent, hot as a firecracker
good job on your first video!!!..Subscribed...Ps you have guts to ride that on the 10 at hwy speed!!! I bow to you..PS I love my 150l!!!!!
Thanks for the sub! ❤️
Thanks for this ❤
Well done first video! You'll need some mic muffs, though. I've got a Honda Super Cub 125 and a Yamaha XT225 that are both small-bore dreams. I was wondering about the performance of this XR, so thank you for the witty and informative review.
I seriously considered the XR150L but ended up going for a used CRF250L. Great review.
On 10 freeway with a 150 she nuts . .. great 1st video keep posting.
😎👍 I’m subscriber 875 many more to come
My local Honda dealer is also a KTM dealer which happened to park them side by side, and let's just say it killed it for me.😂
im in love!
Well done, cute too.
Love from India 🇮🇳
Hi 👋 subscribed. Nice I love adventure bikes.

So You Were Testing the XR 150, but in the Video, You said, Let’s See What Chelsea does on the highway?
You already Named It?
I talk to my motorcycle too.
They can hardly keep them at the dealer, here, You’re a VERY GOOD RIDER.
Will You Be doing a Video for the
Crf 450RL, Soon?
Maybe the XR650L?
I live in Argentina. The XR 150 and the earlier XR125 are very popular. I have ridden them and like them. Nice smooth running and easy to ride. A few people ride them on the highway but I wouldn't. People tour the country on 110's and every once in a while one gets run over by a truck. Most of my riding is around town and an XR would be fine for that. Easy to repair and parts are cheap.
I am thinking of getting this as my first bike mainly for the price point and the weight. I am a little worried about the lack of highway ability. The market for used bikes in my area is fairly expensive right now, making this one very comparable in price - with presumably lower maintenance hassles to worry about being still in production and having a longer production history outside the US. Is it worth changing the gearing for commuting? Very few reviewers mentioned how well it rides at the limit, thank you for mentioning that.
This was by far the most helpful review of the bike. Great first video.
2 beautiful women riding air cooled dual sports… I think I’m in LOVE!
Can you ask Honda to please bring the XL150l to Thailand? It would be so useful here as I switch between dirt, gravel and highway many times within a ride.
What options do you guys have in Thailand? From Honda?
From Honda, the CRF series are the closest thing we have here. But the smallest is a 250 in that series.
Reminds me of my xl 250 and xl 500 I owned in the early 80s
I also owned an
xl 185 which was a bit of a toy
The xl 250 had a 23 inch front wheel
Which was actually great
Anyway very good first video

Oh man I have a 1983 Honda XL600R! Will do a video about it soon! And thank you for subscribing ❤️
@@AnandaNineOne I look forward to that !
The first motorcycle I ever rode was my friends '79 XL250 at Indian Dunes in L.A. County. He said if you can kick start it you can ride it. I was only about 15 at the time. That is how I actually learned to drive a manual transmission car. Back around the same time another friend had an SL125 dual sport(called Enduro's back then) which is probably the great-grandfather to the XR150. We used to ride 2 up everywhere including up at the Hollywood Knolls(near the Hollywood sign). Can't do that anymore. All my bikes were Cafe or Sport Bikes but, my last bike is my XR. I have about 1100 miles on my XR and loving every mile. I used my credit card to pay for the bike since I did not plan on financing and I used the points for all the mods.
Hey, i saw your Dr650, was thinking of buy one for myself, you could make a video about it
Of course! Keep tuned!
Risky, that highway part almost killed you! Great review
😅😅
A few close calls indeed!
“I don’t want to die on a 150” 😂
🤣🤣
You can die on whatever motorcycle you wish.🎉
Ride your own ride. You do not die on the work toilet with the phone in your hand. Perhaps, a more insightful and productive comment would be good.
Words to live by 😅😂
For a 150, seemed to perform pretty well on the highway.
Agreed!
GREAT JOB.. YOUNG LADY.. I HAVE 2.. OF THEM.. THEY'RE A GREAT LITTLE BIKE.👍👍😎😉
will have 1 in 5 weeks....thank you!
You should get hold of a kayo k6efi. Strictly off road enduro though.
Finally!
🤣🤣🙌🏽🙌🏽
Def has its place and I LOVE inexpensive 😅
Me too girl! Me too 🤣
❤❤ 👍👍👍 I think I have a new favorite moto vlogger.
Wow, thanks!
Does it not have a choke to use until it warms up? Carbureted bikes usually do.
It does!
Nice! Would this fit Ana?
100% it would
Do you think this better than the honda trail or the honda cub these two have fuel injecction
❤❤
You're fun
i would be texting a lot of X for sure...lol!
👌👌👌👌👌
ananda is one real MF! keep up the yt vids! love you
Aw thank you so much! ❤️
Please adjust music level in the future videos. It's currently much-much louder than the voice.
Thank you! Will do!
BTW, I think the speed on these must be factory limited. I weight probably 50-80lbs more than you and my top speed is also 60 mph. I'm also at sea level but on the east coast.
How tall are you, inseam and how much do you weigh? Would be helpful thank you
I’m 5’9! Inseam is 34 inches, I think!
"You can send a text to the ex, with the news"
Lol oof
For the beginnings out there avoid bikes that don't have front and rear brakes if you want to stop
Huh? Big brakes don't really help much except on track with track speeds.. the limiting factor on the street is grip and these brakes are more than sufficient for street/dirt use.
honda could sell a million of these, if it was sold in india.
How was the sushi? 😊
Super yummy! ☺️
I distrust the intentions of female moto vloggers, I came to this video to see how the 150 handles the highway and you have made a more honest presentation of this bike than of anyone else I have ever seen do a motorcycle review, speaking to the practical concerns and qualities of the bike with simple presentation. There are too many grating egos in the youtube motorcycle review sphere and this might be the best bike review I've seen on the internet, throw in some tasteful cinematography and it'd be better than Fortnine, do NOT sell out
Thank you for the kind comment, Sir! I hope to count on your honest words in the videos to come! 🙂
you are a wild women on the road...wow...lol......
Cute hair
I bet you were wondering if the carpet matched the drapes or ...🍑! 🎉😂 Every comment helps with the algorithm. Did you subscribe yet?
What's that got to do with the bike, simp?
Yeah, don't use your turn signals! they're overrated! 😵💫
12.5 horsepower, not 10.
You're gonna eventually pay a price for lane splitting. You're insane.
Thats a difficult one, I am a misogynist, but I do like motorcycles...
Loser
Thats a glorified scooter. I am still waiting for a 450cc dual sport with long maintenance intervals.
If your waiting for Honda don't hold your breath lol.
