Hi PookyH
some great advice regarding Managing a conversation but not one piece of advice as how to start one....and the title is How to start etc.
What I was looking for, and didn't get was the words one can use to Start a conversation: Ie. Is it ok to say Can I talk with you about your mental health? Is that OK
or How are you feeling to day...that leads generally to a feeling fine response...but what we want is their buy in to hear from them about their problems.
So ideas on how to start a conversation please and what are poor or even no nos in this respect.
Thank you.
Gerald
