I think you are REALLY STUPID , NOT ONLY did you SELL your PREVIOUS dog , but promptly bought a NEW ONE WHY DID'NT YOU take the other one with you ? I know of a lady that did EXACTLY the same thing ( she was SOUTH AFRICAN as well ) she USED to have a CAT that we ended up adopting as she was hardly ever in then got a puppy which she promptly SOLD I gather for a LOT of MONEY , she once admitted to my now late mum she was'nt a sociable person

After the last three horrible years, I hope all are well, the family and girls, and the four-legged twin-adoptees.
When you get a pet it is a commitment for that pets lifetime. They are not disposable.

You don't deserve to have anymore dogs, dogs are like kids, it's a lifetime commitment, you don't just sell them off like property. And there's no reason why you couldn't take them with you. If your going to treat them like sellable property instead of family members, you don't deserve them.
Why don’t you pay about $3000 dollars or more and have them in quarantine for about 1-3 months and then don’t forget you still need to find a house in another country that allows dogs so you can rent

Stephen Raatz no u can’t visit them when you are in another country and I would never put a dog through that and I have 2 so your the one that doesn’t deserve any animal for that matter because these people are so sweet and they cared so much they rather gave them to someone they knew that could take better care for them than they could in qaurintine and in another country
While I don't disagree, there may be more to the story. Text on other videos in this account indicate that this is family that relocated from South-Africa to Australia. Australian regulations make it very hard to import pets from certain countries, leaving some people with no option other than to leave their pets behind. Would you prefer the pets to be euthanized instead of handing them over to new owners? I prefer new owners, and selling for a price may be a way to secure a little more commitment from the new owner than if they simply gave the dogs away for free.

A dog is not a material thing to be sold! You dont love dogs. Imagine having a 4 year human child and because of the trip and papers are to expensive I doesnt mean I Will sell him! For me my dog is like a child and I love him as my own, so that means that I’ll do the imposible to take him where ever I go😩

As soon as I saw the crocodile tears for the dog that got sold (!!) I knew what kind of people we were dealing with. You can damn well bet that any tears of joy over a new puppy will be temporary. It's just a matter of time before he or she becomes an inconvenience as well and meets the same fate.

I have a miniature schnauzer, she is called Mitzi and is seven years old, she chose me when she was eight weeks old. I love her with all my heart. Dogs are God's gift to humans, they are pure spirits.

I loved watching this. The first surprise to the last. So very thoughtful of your family to help the other with someone who will always be by her side.
I was gifted a dog last year, I knew about her coming here though, living in the back woods and the airport and any major things are two hours away. I'm a incomplete quadriplegic so travel is hard on me, so my husband left someone here to take care of me while he drove out and back with the most sweetest girl. She is being trained as service dog for my PTSD and help when i have absent seizures. She is just the cutest little girl. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

428steve Some dogs aren’t fit for certain families. Say if you were to get a dog as a puppy and later on it started to nip at your children or their friends that would be a problem for someone who has kids. Or if you were to have a dog that you worked with for a long period of time trying to potty train it and it doesn’t seem to get it and pees on everything and ruins your things. Some dogs aren’t fit for certain people and there may be someone who doesn’t mind a dog peeing in the home or nipping at them. Even though you may love that certain dog so much you k ow it would be better in a home with someone who doesn’t mind those things. So when that happens people start to do their research and really find what breed they know is right for them and get another dog.

South Africa is a beautiful place :) Sorry things didnt work out for your family to move back to SA & went through the suffering of having to give up your pets to do so but glad to see things are still happy & you all have two beautiful adorable puppies again.

When my daughter was 17years old She visited Tanzania and brought a dog to the U.S. . It is not that hard to take a dog to another country. When one adopts a dog it becomes a family member. It is like giving away your child. I agree it is heartless to do that to the dog, they bond with the family and grieve.

Curious why you had to sell your dog when you moved? I'm a military wife and we move often. We moved form California to Japan and just flew the dog over a week or two after we left.

late comment here: I'd like to add some thoughts of mine here, dogs are not stupid like people do, dogs are not dis-loyal to it's owner people do, dogs are loving to it's owners, people loves fade in due time dogs don't, dogs are cheerful and happy when they were with family, I love my dogs, they will stay with me until their old age, you don't discard and sell your dogs they are family and family matters.......

Bert 74 the previous dogs went to good family friends and people that would take good care of them... but it was just too expensive to take 3 dogs all around the world... so we sold them and then got a prophecy not to move back :)

Here 's one good reason , that a dog should be sold.. if people pay a high enough price , they are also ready to take care of them.. if you give your dog away.. without knowing who the person is. ,,so what if they get tired of the dog.. they 'll get rid of it .. because they got it free.

I honestly cried watching this … so happy for the girls, but God! My cat is my daughter, and I wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world. She's my little heartbeat, and it would kill me to be without her. I can't imagine selling her for anything in the world. To sell your dog and then turn around and buy another, I just couldn't do that.

And I have never said I have an issue with rehoming pets...I've actually helped find dogs (not my own, cause again, would never get rid of my dogs) new homes because of medical issues with the owners...but again...these dogs were NEVER SOLD BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT MATERIAL THINGS.
