Yes, the law was definitely present until the destruction of the temple. And the key thing, for 2000 years there were several attempts to build the temple, yet all them miraculously failed. And that is just a sign from God, that there will never be any temple built, it is done.

Brother, I believe that “drawing by the Father”, which when you look at the wording there, hints at a bit more effort from the Father than the one being “drawn” or “drawn out” or “dragged” and that the “drawing or dragging” done by the Father to Jesus would be more contextually applicable to Jesus’ topic of “Resurrection” and maybe not so applicable to the Sovereign Grace doctrine. My understanding is that in describing Resurrection, Jesus is instead saying that each Saint who would be “drawn” out of Sheol would be “drawn” by His Father, showing the participation of His Father in the First Resurrection of the ones being “drawn”.

There's one continuous "Israel" or people of God. The old Covenant, not Israel , ended in A.D. 70. The apostate Hebrew nation was destroyed in judgement, but the Hebrews who were faithful to Messiah and to the Covenant fled and survived. Along with believing non-Hebrews they continued to be people of God under a new Covenant, where God's people, not limited by ethnicity, are His living Temple, and his earthly kingdom is not limited by geographic boundaries.
If you think about it it was the same in old Covenant national Israel; Gentiles could become proselytes of Judaism, get circumcised and follow the law, and be Covenant people. Now Hebrews can be baptized into the body of Christ and become Covenant people. In either case ethnicity is not the issue but "the circumcision which is of the heart" or "metanoia", true inner repentance and transformation.

And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many. (Matt. 27:52-53)" - did the bodies of the Saints just falled asleep like we do every night or were they dead? If they were dead, they resurrected literally and what was with Lazarus? Doesn't Jesus state He is flesh and bone? So if this be the case Jesus is raised in a new body that has no blood but It's Him so the new body is raised with the spirit someone had which was in their old body. Ezekiel 37 the valley of dry bones? those bodies are completely reconstructed and put back together or well receive new parts.I stopped watching this UA-cam channel a while back because I felt they weren't correct on many aspects of the time after the 1000 year reign but I'm hoping this video is different but starting off the same. I think you are not interpreting scripture right here. You are using the ESV and you say that God said " The day you eat of it you will surely die." That is not even what the text says in the ESV. It actually says "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
So you are not even reading the text properly. "In the day" starts in verse 2:4 "These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, IN THE DAY that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
It's clear here that the heavens and earth were not created in one day! So what is being said here? In the day means at that period of time. So it is not referring to the fact that Adam was going to die on one day but rather a prophecy of what would happen to Adam if he ate. So your analogy of this referring to spiritual death rather than physical death does not hold water.
I think it definitely refers to physical death. 100%

"In the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die"
"A day with the Lord is as a thousand years"
Adam lived to over 800 years old. Not 1,000. In the "day" he ate thereof, he died.
And it is NOT talking about "spiritual death". It means that because they were banned from the tree of life which gives you immortality if you keep eating from it, they would eventually die. It's not that esoteric, people.
(The fruit from the tree probably kept your telomears turned off so you didn't age genetically. And Revelation says the leaves were medicine.)

The book of Jubilees chapter 4 says that "Adam lived to 930 yrs, but because of sin, died 70 short of 1000"....this was not an actual life span of 1000 literal man earth years....1000 as a number is a sign of perfection to God. Jesus never sinned...but died a physical death at around 33 yrs of age...but his life and ministry and the 40 yr millennium equals 70.....930 + 70 = 1000....

I learned alot from this. It cleared up some confusion I was having. The one portion I didn't think was a strong comparison was in relation to Adam dying in a day. Adam not dying in one 24 hour period would've make the verse untrue.
Day in Hebrew is "yome" Strong: H3117. It doesn't mean JUST a 24 hour period of time. It can mean a season of time, time period, lifetime, etc. Adam lived to be 930 years old, so technically he did die before his day was up.
    2 Peter 3:8-9 :
"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."

Job prophesied the resurrection of his flesh at the latter day, when he will behold Jesus standing on the earth with him. The Spirit, through Apostle Paul, states the entire creation will be redeemed from the corruption that God forced upon it when Adam sinned, and that the body of the Believer shall be redeemed, replacing mortal with immortality.
    Job 19:25-27 KJV
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
[26] And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
[27] Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
    Romans 8:21,23 KJV
Because *_the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God._*
[23] *_And not only they, but ourselves also,_* … groan within ourselves, *_waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body._*
    1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV
… *_the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed._*
[53] For *_this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality._*

Life passed onto all men through Christ, as death passed on all men through Adam. That is why Revelations speaks of the 2nd death. Only those who reject Christ will be harmed by the 2nd death. Christ is the reconciliation to God through the spirit. That IS to have part in the first resurrection, which IS Christ Jesus, as spoken of in Revelations.

Preterist belief is so full of logic holes it's incredible. Listening to this makes me see how dogged people are to hold to certain views rather than to let God show them. How could someone possible believe 70AD describes "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." I mean more people died on the Eastern Front in 1941 than in all the Roman Jewish wars put together...with our world heading to nuclear annihilation I don't understand how people could believe "The GREAT TRIBULATION" happened in a time period when the most deadly weapons were hand combat weapons.

The statement is a kind of hyperbole, other prophets used similar language for events that happened in the past so, the great tribulation was a great tribulation within the redemption history nothing could be worse than what happened that time when the temple was destroyed. You need to consider the covenantal elements, not merely the physical, besides Christ made it very clear it would happen in that generation. So should we believe or not in the words of the Lord? It indeed happened as he said.

Another point I think is that nothing like that happened again, the church did not come to the brink of extinction as it was that time. After that Christianity thrived like the sun taking over the world, with suffering and stress but nothing similar to that situation. Today there are orders of magnitude more Christians in the world than that time, and our city and kingdom is unshakable, so it is impossible for us to pass through a great tribulation of sorts.

@@abraao2213 70 AD wasn't about the church or persecution of the church specifically it was about the Roman-Jewish conflict. This "great tribulation" that God talks about is one so bad that He says He needs to intervene directly or no flesh would survive. That doesn't describe 70 AD and preterists have to stop using the "it's hyperbole" thing to cover every argument.

@user-rv9hp6bo3y yes it was about three conflict that engulfed the world, Christians were persecuted also greatly. The orophecy text talks about it also as we all know:‭Matthew‬ ‭24:9‬ ‭ESV‬
[9] “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.
R.H. Charles comments that the phrase in Matthew 24:21 “is a stock eschatological expression. It is first found in Dan. xii.1; then in 1 Macc. ix.27; next in Ass. Mos. viii. 1, and subsequently in Rev. xvi. 18.” (R.H. Charles, A Critical History of the Doctrine of a Future Life in Israel, in Judaism, and in Christianity or Hebrew, Jewish, and Christian Eschatology from Pre-Prophetic Times till the Close of the New Testament Canon (London: Adam and Charles Black, 1899), 329, note 1.) Contrary to Charles, the phrase is used much earlier than its appearance in Daniel 12:1. His point, however, that the phrase “is a stock eschatological expression” is valid.
Could there have been two kings in the southern kingdom of Judah who were the greatest kings Judah ever had? Logic would dictate that there can only be one greatest king but any number of great kings. But the Bible tells us that there were two kings who were the “greatest.” How can this be?
      · “He [Hezekiah] trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who were before him” (2 Kings 18:5).
      · “And before him [Josiah] **there was no king like him **who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to the law of Moses; nor did any like arise after him” (2 Kings 23:25).
Similar language is used to describe judgments brought on nations by God. Jesus follows this Hebrew method of stressing the impact of the calamity by using familiar hyperbole in Matthew 24:21.
      · “There had never been so many locusts, nor would there be so many again” (Ex. 10:14; compare with Joel 1:1-4).
      · “There shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been before and such as shall never be again” (Ex. 11:6).
      · “And because of all your abominations, I will do among you what I have not done, and the like of which I will never do again” (Ezek. 5:9; compare with Matt. 24:21).
“For under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what was done to Jerusalem” (Dan. 9:12; compare with 12:1).
“A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness. As the dawn is spread over the mountains, so there is a great and mighty people; there has never been anything like it, nor will there be again after it to the years of many generations” (Joel 2:2).

The futurist strategy is always to dismiss 70 AD as nothing at all, even through it is very clear that it was the expected thing to happen by the apostles and that were understood by them as the visible sign of Christ coming. The destruction of the temple and the punishment of that evil generation that killed the Lord and persecuted his saints was no little thing.

I think its possible when God said to Adam the day you eat from this tree you will surely die may not have meant spiritually die that moment . But rather His fate was sealed in his resurrection in AD70 . I say this because we need the spirit to stay alive in the body or how can the body live without a living spirit who gives life . Or maybe we can live without a living spirit or maybe we do have a living spirit but Gods spirit is absent in us .

You state everyone mon from Adam had the Law. Adam was given a command but after being thrown out of the garden Cain and Abel and everyone after couldn't eat from the tree. God doesn't give any Law until Sinai so All in Noah's flood are not under law as I see it...Help me understand please

C'mon right there he proves himself wrong and his brothers right...oh well men within the same church disagreeing, I guess that's ok in the eyes of the Lord

We have a clear picture of the resurrection of the dead in the new testament. The resurrection of Lazarus with a shout. And, in the old testament we also have a prophetic picture of the dry bones coming back to life.

Very convincing argument. Makes better sense than dispensationalism. One problem I have is, if ressurection is not bodily, then how are the ones seen by many in the holy city in Matthew 27:53?
And they came out of the tombs after his resurrection, entered the holy city, and appeared to many.

I think it js not bodily in the sense of our current biological bodies. It is some kind of pneumatic body, like the angels have. So it is tangible but not made of matter. Because our bodies constantly change and are subject to corruption but pneumatic bodies are eternal, they never change.

They were raised back to life (like Lazarus) but not resurrected bodies.
Yahshua was the first fruit of the resurrection (first to receive a resurrected body)
      At His return,
The dead in Messiah rise first,
Then those who are alive and remain.
Then - as He is, so we all shall be

@@tatie7604 it doesn't mean he has a fleshly body now. He was taken into the clouds and is at the right Hand of Power. He is also as Paul says, the life giving Spirit, and He live WITHIN us, how so? Fleshly? Of course not. As Paul also says that He no longer know Christ in the flesh.
