Whenever it rained they switched off the power and it wouldn’t come back for hours. Streets are filthy and filled with stray dogs. People aren’t that nice either and it looks like they just want money from tourists for no work and no service. Bad place and bad experience. Not worth your time or money. Horrible place. Every time it rains they have no power. Backward, filthy, yet expensive as a trip to Europe. People are impolite and arrogant to tourists. Too many dogs. No charm at all. Many nicer places in India than this. Don’t go here. This is one of the most useless and backward places in India. Cafes and restaurants charge European prices for extremly bad service and filthy conditions. People are extremely lazy, arrogant and they look down on tourists. Unless you are looking for a place to get robbed, overcharged and spend time not being able to take a shower or charge your phone, skip it! Not good. Many restaurants with high prices and bad hygiene. Weather was bad and there was never any power. No wifi, no charging, no shower. The town is not much. Horrible ride to get there. Not worth it.
